called in advance to view a used golf gti that was described as good condition. was told by the sales rep over the phone that the car was in good nick. travelled all the way from manchester on the basis that the car was in good condition. upon arrival we were very dissapointed. the car hadnt even been washed. the problems the car had were as follows: -fog light trim pieces hanging off -paint compound on the bonnet -missing door lock cap -cracked door glass pillar -drivers side tint half peeled off -centre console heavily scratched -missing wind deflector on one side of car -corroded hub cap on one of the wheels -less than legal limit left on front tires -next to nothing left on front brake discs -cracked rain gutter under bonnet -missing floor mats -advertised as miltek but no branding on exhaust tips -screenwash cap missing -screenwash inlet pipe hanging off with no clips -window and door rubber not fitted properly or lined up -front and rear lights not in line with the body panels -middle vents in rear seats had no clips so could be pulled out easily -one of the headlights had blown bulbs/leds -wheels had scuffs -front bumper had been repaired and showed clear marks of it we had wasted our entire trip on a car that had honestly looked like it had been stolen and dropped off to the showroom and left there. the description over the phone did not mention any of the above issues and we were mislead into believing the car listed was in reasonable condition when in actuality the condition was awful. we got to the showroom, he handed the key and walked off. when we spoke to the salesman he showed no interest or care in the matter stating that the issues mentioned above are expected in a used car. the salesman became very irritated when we pointed these issues out and did not want to satisfy our complaints regarding the car constantly mentioning that the issues were normal in used cars. very unprofessional, extremely disingenuous. honestly would avoid at all costs. had we been informed of the condition beforehand we would have avoided the car altogether. poor customer service, poor quality stock and utter dissapointment.

Great team at Tenby Trade Cars who really looked after me. They got me a car and finance deal that really suited my needs. Thanks again!
Tenby trade cars were very helpful in helping me find my car , i baught a bmw 520 2017 and i am delighted with the drive , really would recommend this dealership to everyone.
Bought a volvo v50 that started to lose coolant a week after I got it. To cut a long story short they said it was a low mileage car for that model and year and later on court said it was a car at the end of its life. Just finished the legal action. They lied from the beginning. Stay away.

After 3 years this outlet for 2nd cars has finally cleared out of our residential road. All options and appeals to try and stay exhausted. For residentials the day of their departure hasn't come quick enough .....

Traveled a long way to collect a car from Tenby Trade Sales that was advertised as a brilliant clean example, when I got there it had miner marks on which I’ve had to have sorted myself, the engine had a knock within days which I’ve been told is a dual mass rattle, but they won’t touch it because “the part hasn’t yet failed” in other words, I must wait for it to break down before they’ll even look at helping me. Stay clear.
I don’t know where to begin. Bought an Audi A5 off Tenby Trade Cars in April, returned it a week later as there were multiple problems with it. I was fortunate enough to swap it for another car. The one I swapped for had a gearbox issue and other minor problems. The dealer would not accept responsibility for it saying the car was checked before selling. I had asked for the pre-delivery inspection letter which they declined to give me. One salesman had said that the car was checked by AA whilst the other staff member said it was inspected by a private garage. I had to get a diagnostic done to prove the fault to them, wasting time and money on this. And still the manager I believe said “that proves that the car still works the fact you’ve driven it to a garage to get a diagnostic done”. I felt disgusted by this. At least they gave me paperwork for a tyre inspection that they did back in 2016. Which they said was “recent”. And because of that, my front left tyre burst while driving away from the dealership. I then found out the tyre was flipped around to say ‘inside’ instead of ‘outside’, therefore hiding all previous damages to the tyre. And for them to say that the car was checked before selling just makes me sick to think these people can do this. Needless to say I’m in an ongoing legal battle with these lot.
