When we collected our Tucson hybrid, the sales people took over an hour to understand how to process the order in their computer system. There was no handover process where controls and configuration was explained, just a 'here are your keys, goodbye'. Their CRM system is really poor, with useless service reminder emails. Tried to call the number on the mail and kept on hold for 25 minutes then find out that the price I would have to pay is nearly 3x that of the indication on the email (despite it having a picture of my car). The car is OK, but it's the dealership experience that drives return custom. Guess what .....

I popped in to the showroom today, needed a little part for my i10 tyre. Jo, an assistant got what I needed so quickly, lovely lady, rare to get such friendly attentive service. Thank you Jo.

What can I say? I purchased my car and had a bad service at Warrington and was recommended by an AA man to go Cheshire Oaks because they are good. However, since using Chester since 2017, there is a drastic change in after sales care from then until now. Being a real advocate of Hyundai, I told my husband to get one. He got an i30n and in the 6 months he has had it (since Jan), it’s been in for some big things from a fuel pump issue, key batteries losing battery in days which resulted in new keys needed, to a handle door coming off with no force (just simply opening the door - a good job we have cctv on our home!), to a red warning light coming on and the brake ceasing up and Hyundai wanting to refuse taking it in to sort the issue. My car has never been anywhere else but after Chester telling me they have 20 cars ahead of my husbands even being diagnosed to be sorted, I have to consider is this a business I want to keep giving my money to. There’s been other scenarios that I have shrugged off but haven’t sat right with me but after Hyundai wanting to refuse to take a car that is no use to me currently even though purchased from them with service plans, I’m sincerely disappointed. You’ve certainly lost me as a customer and as today I have purchased a new car elsewhere and therefore, you will not be getting anymore money out of me for any plans. My husband will soon follow suit.
My first contact by phone and subsequent visit was welcomed and professionally dealt with by Craig. His knowledge and helpfulness could not be faulted which resulted in my buying my first Hyundai, the Ioniq 6. His post sales contact was really welcomed and exceeds my experience with other franchised dealers. Look forward to being a future long term customer.

Excellent service from Alan this morning, who listened to what I wanted and noted my budget. Found me exactly what I was looking for. First time I have visited Cheshire Oaks Hyundai and the whole experience was pleasant. I am looking forward to seeing my car on Friday. No ‘High pressure’ sales technique, I felt very comfortable and was not rushed to make any hasty decision. Highly recommended, particularly Alan.
