Purchased Mx-5. Unfortunately I was a fair distance away to even look at the car myself. After speaking with the Gent on the phone i ask a few questions about the car. Asking if there any work needing to the car from eye sight as well which he responded with no the car is in great condition. After receiving the car it only had one set of keys. The car was filthy inside and out. Food and wrappers left in the car. Food in the glove compartment. Noticeable rust which I'm having to pay out for on top. Two flat Tyre's which needed changing. Battery Replacement. Even the guy who dropped the car off said he has trouble starting the car. On top of that it has need new pads and disc's (Which is something he isn't going to obviously know so that's irrelevant). Overall experience with the Car Hut Ltd is that I am very disappointed.

After the car dealer saw my review he was not happy with how upset l was and therefore contacted me to sort the matter out even though it was out of its 30 days warranty he said we will deal with the repair out of good will with no cost and apologised if he had upset me in anyway by the phone conversation we had. l feel with the support they give me and the repair sorted out the car is now in good order l feel my last review may have been a little harsh.

I was very happy with the service I received from The Car Hut where I purchased my car nearly 2 months ago. The Car was exactly as described and the salesman was a pleasure to deal with. I got a great price for my part exchange vehicle better than I expected to be honest and the price of the one I purchased was very competitive. The Car did have a couple of marks on the body which the salesman described before I travelled but I was expecting this anyway as I was buying a 'used' car. I have had no issues with the Car during my ownership and the car was Mot'd prior to my purchase so all in all I have not had to spend a penny yet. This is unlike the car I purchased before this one from a private seller where I had nothing but problems. Also this Car came with the service manuals in the original wallet and supplied with 2 keys which I was pleased about and found very helpful. To summarise I would give this place 5 out of 5. Would I buy a car from The Car Hut again? Most certainly. Would I recommend The Car Hut to anyone? Most certainly. Thank you guys!
The owner of the dealership was rude an arrogant, spoke to me with no respect, he put his needs before his customers, sold me a car which had problems, but he wasn't looking at the matter he was more bothered about a used car I part ex with him, offered one price for part ex and on the day of the trade part ex value of my car dropped, and denied 1st price he offered, and I agree with one of the previous message on here, before the sale, there friendly and happy to help, once sales been made, they no longer want to help, and car had no fuel Wat so ever, I didn't even make it to morrisons which is literally 20 seconds away, I would not recommend this place, there is something fishy about the MOT, and I also only got 1 key an I gave him 3 for my previous car which I part ex, most dealers give standard 3months part an labour Warrenty an they only offer 1month, even with 1 month they use used parts and not even genuine,

Hi Ruhal Ahmed (or Jim). We are sorry that you are unhappy. From what we recall there was only one problem with your car which we rectified immediately. We put a reconditioned part on because you did not want to wait two weeks for a new part. With regards to the part exchange value for your car yes we did drop the price but only because you told us the Sat Nav was working when in fact it wasnt. We did offer you an extended warranty with Warranty Wise however you refused this. Since we repaired the issue with your car we never heard from you again until this review. If there was another issue with your car you never contacted us about it. We are sorry that you are unhappy but we did stick to our word and honoured the warranty by repairing your car. In light of this, we do hope that you can edit this review.
I saw a car on line that The Car Hut had just put up for sale and decided just to take a look without phoning ahead first. On arrival I didn't get the usual hard sell. The sales bloke introduced himself and simply asked if I had an appointment when I said no he let me look around without any pressure whatsoever. I saw the car I'd had my eye on and I asked for the keys and he let me look around it on my own. I thought this sales approach was fantastic! I asked if I could be driven around in it as I wanted to listen to the engine without having to concentrate on the traffic and the salesman obliged immediately. I then decided I wanted the car and was offered a fair deal on my part exchange. When I went to pick up the car a week later they'd serviced the car put a new mot on it and gave it a full valet. What really pleased me was that they left enough diesel in it to get me home. What used car dealers do that? Great service received and I would highly recommend them!
Recently bought a 206 convertible which my local garage found had issues that should have shown up on an MOT but didn't, despite the dealer having had an MOT done on it for sale. I spoke to the garage and they said to take it up with the warranty (that they sold to us also). I spoke to the warranty company and the woman there told me that the warranty wasn't worth anything on a car over 10 years old. This was not made clear when it was sold to me. I have repeatedly tried to contact the garage but no-one answers the phone. I've left voicemail and emailed them from their website but they ignore me. I'm left with a car that needs a few hundred pounds worth of work doing that I do not feel should be left to me and a warranty that isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Very disappointed and angry at lack of customer service.

Hi Matt, if you recollect on the day you purchased your car, you and your partner were so impressed with our service your partner made it clear to us she will be leaving us with positive feedback regarding her experience with The Car Hut. This never happened, however it is unfortunate that you are very quick to leave us with negative feedback after incurring a problem. Your facts are not entirely true because if you recall you did as a matter of fact speak to a member of our staff on the telephone regarding your problem. We did our best to resolve this for you even speaking to the warranty company on your behalf to try to help you. They explained to us why they rejected your claim and your demands. They rarely reject any claims but in your case had no choice. The warranty company we use are outstanding and one of the biggest in the UK. We are sorry that your not happy with our service however we did our best to meet your demands. After speaking to management we are willing to offer you a gesture of goodwill if you contact us. My experience of buying a car from the Car Hut was absolutely great. The salesman was excellent, very patient his enthusiasm and honesty made it a pleasure for me and my family. This was even more so in how he gave me some excellent motoring tips and was very helpful in answering my questions. I would definetly recommend this dealer to anyone and would be using them again to purchase my next car. Thank you!!!
Purchased a Mercedes from this dealer a couple of months ago. No problems with the car and it has just passed its MOT with no advisories. Overall very good experience and great customer service. Thanks!
I bought a car from this dealership in April and I have had numerous issues with it. and there are lots of things missing and the dealer has been of pretty much no help. The guy comes across really nice at face value but once hes sold the car his attitude changes. I am really disappointed and would not recommend The Car Hut in Hyde to anyone.

I bought a Modus from here and dealt with Jay. I found him to be a very fair person to do business with. There were a couple of issues with the car which Jay sorted out for me, in fact was over and above what I expected. I travelled a fair distance to buy this car so all of the issues were conducted via texts and e-mail which I thought would be a problem , but all went well. I would certainly recommend the Car Hut to anyone. Ask to see Jay!!
