in July this year I bought a BMW 2016 from The Car Sales Company Bury. It was the 2nd car that we purchased from TCSC so one might expect a degree of authenticity for a returning customer. We HPi checked the car and were told before purchasing the car that it was finance free and not involved in an accident. When we got the car home we noticed a strange metallic sound from the offside wheel hub. A short time later the nearside headlamp totally fogged up. I make contact with Chris, the lead salesperson, to query the faults being attended to' but got a poor response '.....contact the workshop to see if they are covered....'. I put the response down to ..WE GOT YOUR MONEY SO JOG ON ...and decided to sort out the issues myself, we live a long distance from Bury. So whilst trying to find a replacement headlamp on the net I needed some tech data and looked through the documents in the wallet we got from the company when we purchased the car. How surprised was I when I found a receipt for thousands of pounds of work to accident damage to the car, a practically replaced front end. Again I contacted Chris and this time he did not even have the decency to respond. As you might imagine this car was not cheap and we feel totally ripped off by this crooked outfit.

The car salesman from The Car Sales Company Bury who dealt with me was very honest and open, and he was very understanding and helpful thank you would do business again . Ian black
Avoid The Car Sales Company in Bury. Zero star review is sadly not an option... We traded in our car and they didn’t bother telling the DVLA so when the road tax ran out we received a fine from the DVLA (2 months after we had traded it in) for not taxing it! It gets worse - we got the new vehicle on finance and the day before the first payment came out we got a text from the finance company saying that they are also collecting a £200 ‘admin fee’ on top of the first instalment. We where not made aware by the dealer or anybody else and the salesman clicked a button on his computer to fraudulently say that we agreed to it! We have refused to pay this admin fee obviously. We feel that the dealer should pay it as we where not informed or even signed anything but as the dealer won’t cough up (and are saying the finance company haven’t contacted them about this matter when we know that they have) we have to take this to the ombudsman and our solicitor. The car also came missing a parcel shelf & sat nav adaptor that we where promised within 2 days of picking the car up - we received these 5 weeks later after lots of phone calls to the dealer. AVOID this car dealer at all costs. They are amateur to say the least and don’t know what they are doing! We are out of pocket by a few hundred pounds due to their dishonesty and incompetence!!

Bad Experience with The Car Sales Company Bury. We reserved a beautiful mercedes c class and at the time of leaving the deposit was trying to be persuaded to pay £1700 for a warranty to cover the car which we declined. When we went to collect the car a few days later was told there was a problem with the car suggesting an issue with the gear box. Was told they were rejecting the car back to their stockist because we hadnt taken the warranty they could be liable further down the line if/when the gear box went. Close call for us and I`m happy to say that we had a lucky escape. However we do feel if we had taken the warranty out, that they would have let us drive the car away in the knowledge they would be covered by the warranty when the error re-occurred which we were told would happen at some point. Paying 16k for a car I think that is disgusting treatment of customers and I am so glad that we did not purchase the car. They also offered us alternative cars and would include a warranty for free, that suggests to me that they want warranties on all of the cars because they know there are potential issues with them. Glad we didnt buy and would never consider this company again. Just a shame they didnt have the decency to ring us before arriving and wasting our afternoon, swapping our insurance over and retaining my private registration plate. We are off now to purchase another mercedes from a reputable dealer good luck car sales company, one day you will trip up badly.

Hi which Mercedes was it? Do they still advertise it?
Terrible service, really wish I hadn't bought a car from The Car Sales Company Bury. The salesman knew the car had issues and promised me that they would get fixed, I'm still waiting after a month and leaving the car with them twice. They are just not interested and so rude. Would not recommend, shop around.

My partner found a car for sales at The Car Sales Company Bury through Auto Trader he wanted to view. He phoned at 9am to ensure the car was available and explained that we would be driving over an hour to come and see it, so could it be ready for 1:30pm. We arrived at the agreed time to be told that the car tyre had a puncture and could we wait 10 minutes whist it is repaired. This immediately alerted us that there may be a bigger issue as we could see the car with the bonnet open and an employee working on that, no tyre in sight. After waiting 10 mins we were told the mechanics had gone on their lunch so we would need tm wait longer. After an hour, the bonnet still up and a mechanic working on it with no update, we left. By the rest of the reviews it sounds like we made the right decision! It’s just a shame we wasted 2 hours and 100 miles on a journey.

I would like to put in an official complaint against Sam Mirza who is an employee at The Car Sales Company Bury Ltd BL9 7EG. So the aa finance had accepted me with finance for a car and told me to go and pick a car from an the aa approved dealership so I seen a Mercedes benz e class from the car sales company Bury Ltd and spoke to sam when I phoned he told me come to him and he can get me a better apr as I was offered from the aa 12.9 % Apr and Sam had offered me it at 7 % Apr so I thought why not it's nearly half the Apr so I decided to go with it and drove from Dundee scotland 4 hrs 30mins with my partner and my son to see the car and have a day out and he did not make things very clear at all as when I left I was still in the understanding that I was paying 7 % Apr not 14.5 % apr as stated on my agreement. Sam gave me the mouse and told me I had to click to sign the agreement without telling me to read everything first as I have learning difficulties due to my condition sticklers syndrome so I didn't realise but this should of clearly be stated by the salesman Sam. I stongly feel I was taking advantage of as I drove 4hr 30mins for what I was told 7 % Apr not 14.5 %Apr! When I was on my way home the service light came on so I contacted car sales to speak to sam and they said he was with a customer so I asked for him to phone me back he didn't so I called back again and was transfered threw to another member of staff then he told me he was with a customer but I find that hard to beleive as I think that's unprofessional if he is sitting with a customer, Sam has avoided me the whole time since I purchased the vehicle because he knows what he has done took a total advantage out of me so the other member of staff asked what what wrong so I told him about the service light and he told me to come back to Manchester or that I can leave it on until the next service, why would I want to leave the service light on my new car for that long period? I disagreed then he told me to find somewhere to turn off and phone back with a quote for them to pay but this is their fault they should fix it I got this car on Monday pacificly due to me being a courier and working on tuesday 20th November until 24th December my next day off is 25th December on Christmas day I do not have time to be taking cars to garages I'm working at least 14hrs per day! The service light should never of come on in the first place if the car apparently was serviced! Then when I had someone to look threw the paper work properly that's when I figured it was 14.5 % Apr hidden at the bottom away from the 7 % fixed p.a I was told 7 % Apr not 7 % fixed p.o and I tried to call back to take the car back and withdraw from the finance but they refused I was at the understanding that I could withdraw from the finance and give the car back as I would never ever of drove in total of 12hrs 20mins (due to roads being closed throughout Glasgow on the way back and getting a slow a puncture not long after I left the showroom) with my partner and my 2 year old son knowing that it was 14.5 percent Apr its just crazy money When I traded in my car vw passat cc 2012 I also fell quite pressured as I was offered £5400 (I payed £8750 for this in February 2018) after another guy came and showed me a photo on his mobile phone that was apparently work that was needing done on my car fuel injectors and accelerator ect can't remember what else he showed me due to it all happening to fast then he said they won't make much on it due to miles but that a lie its on website for £7995 that abit more than not making enough its just greed! Then I get a phone call after trading standards have contacted the car sales company pretty much saying they will scrap the old contract make a new one and give me what the aa were going to give 12.9apr but I drove my sorry self 4hrs 30hrs all the way down there to get 7 % apr not 14.5 % apr, why would i come to Bury for a higher Apr it does not make sense to me at all and I would never in a million years get a car for £12450 and pay a total of over £17500 of my knowledge plus my car aswel its just utter madness! When he phoned I was so rushed off my feet at work I had 174 drop I had no time and did not think then either, it wasn't till the end of my shift I started thinking about it and at that time when he phoned back after trading standards I said OK whatever but no I want the 7 % Apr that was offered to me from Sam that made me want to come to Manchester for this particular car NOT THE 14.5 At the end of the day here I think I have been totally ripped off I've walked into the showroom and all they greedy people see pound signs, I strongly feel I've been taking advantage of as they know I have learning difficulties its not rocket science. I will be taking this further
