I brought a car from the car team thorney! After many weeks of calls, and being told to meet 5 times. When the person wasnt there! Know other person would help, as they wasnt the person who sold although when looking there all involved. Finally took car to be repaired, they put a sensor on and kept the car weels! Twrrible service! False warrenty! Was told a year given their leaflet! Which included rapair for everything. So stated due to that i would buy the car! When i rang about warrenty wasnt anything to do woth business! As had pulled out months before, although the warrenty leaflets are sat in office so you feel you iave a safe car! Nothing but trouble! Apart from when my money came put. The whole team were there, problems know body there! Never again! Even explained i jad a nee born as in weeks grandchild, disaster from start!

We had the same treatment, faulty car they didn't care about, fake warrenty. We eventually took these men to court to WIN our money back. We won and bailiffs got the money back for us. I'm more than happy to help anyone do the same. Just ask for help.
We were sold a car by The Car Team with no V5, promised a 3 month warranty through Warrantywise that we never got. We were promised a second programmed car key through VW that we never received, The car was said to have a new tyre and the reason the exhaust sounded like it was blowing was because it had a sports exhaust, we had the car checked over and all the tyres need replacing and all the brake pads and discs, also the exhaust has a split in it. It was also fitted with the wrong battery that had to be replaced. They are complete crooks do not use!

Have you contacted trading standards and WarrantyWise? I did when The Car Team robbed me back in March with an un-road worthy Passat (which also turned out to be an insurance write-off and I lost all my money on it) they weren't that interested.....but if they keep getting bad reports about this car dealer, action maybe taken and they get shut down, as they deserve!

Car Team/Motor Firm, who actually knows who owns which company, I am even confused which one of these "car Traders" is Naeem Ahkter & which one is "Ali of The Car Team" because when we attended Peterborough Court the gentleman I new as Naeem Ahkter & came to my house in December 2018 speaking good English, then claimed he couldn't speak English & wasn't actually Naeem Ahkter (So not really sure why he was there???).. I do know they have a car lot at The Causeway Peterborough & my story is similar to most........................nothing but false promises & economies with the truth............I have a car on my drive that was only been driven 9 miles before the head gasket blew & obviously sold breaching my consumer rights. I have a General Form of Judgement, but these people still refuse to pay............I have several ideas of my own, but would welcome any other thoughts for collecting my dues.

Wish I had found these reviews earlier as I would have walked away from the VW Passat I bought in March 19 from The Car Team in Peterborough. I traded in a Nissan Xtrail which needed £1200 worth of work doing on it. Ali said he would break it for parts....the next day it was up on their website for £1875!!! All the work he said he had done on Passat was a lie, the only thing they had done was put an air freshener in it and disabled an engine warning light to hide an expensive repair. He gave me 6 months warranty with WarrantyWise....haha of course he didn't, They had no record of the car and when they tried to contact got no replies because they closed down and a new trader is now operating at the same site. I also have contacted Trading Standards via Citizens Advice. They are also a joke...how much evidence do they need to do something about this garage? I didn't think such crooks could operate like this anymore. The Car Team give the industry a bad name.

We looked on the internet for a Nissan Micra and were pleased to find that The Car Team had one. We were assured by Mr. Nazeem that it was in very good condition so we went to their address in Peterborough. It is a car lot on waste ground and was locked. We waited 30 minutes before Mr. Nazeem arrived and unlocked the gates. We were taken to the Micra and the first thing we noticed was the damage to the passenger door. Mr. Nazeem said that it was no problem and that he could get it repaired that day and that the car would look 'like new'. We were not confident that that would be possible. We looked at the car interior and there were signs of mould so it was obvious that the car had not been looked after. We decided that this was not the car we wanted so were prepared to leave but Mr. Nazeem still wanted us to buy it. Our attention was drawn to a Hyundai i30. We were taken for a test drive and agreed to purchase the car. The car was delivered to our home address on the Thursday, on Saturday morning the car would not start as the battery was flat. We contacted Mr. Nazeem and informed him, his reply was that we should not worry about it, send him a copy of the invoice and he would pay for the cost of the battery which was £82.91 and the callout and fitting charge was £24.00. The total including VAT was £128.39. We e-mailed a copy of the invoice together with a photograph to illustrate that a new battery had been fitted. We waited a few days but did not receive any payment so we telephoned Mr. Nazeem and he asked for our bank details which we e-mailed to him. We have made numerous calls since then and each time Mr. Nazeem assured us that he would pay but to date there has been no payment and our belief is that he did not intend to pay.

i wouldn't give The Car Team even one star. I bought a car from him offered me 30 days to return it if i wasnt happy or any faults came up well within days faults showed he told me to get the parts and will refund me but never did then the clutch went and told me sold as seen. Total con. Avoid.
