As far as I know, there are three different companies dealing in the one area. Do not buy from any of them! You have been warned! Only two weeks ago I was sold a Ford Focus from The Car Trade Centre in Dunstable after being convinced to pay more than what I wanted to originally because "if you buy a cheap car it won't last long. Things will go wrong with it". So I brought the car for £800 (a lot to me!) and agreed to pay weekly. Thankfully, I haven't even finished paying yet! Was told it had clean MOT, absolutely nothing wrong with it. Within days I noticed it was leaking oil. Took it to a mechanic who told me the gasket was leaking. Tried a number of times to get it repaired from them. The man who sold it to me switched his phone off and when he did tell me to bring it in, he was never there. So I couldn't leave it there to be looked at. So had no choice to pay £50 to get it fixed myself. Now there is loss of power. Apparently a spark plug has gone. Now trying to get my money back. If I could give no stars for them I would. Avoid The Car Trade Centre at all costs!
Worth reading this review!!!!!!!!I think they have closed down now though and are operating under ASM Cars which i was told are now selling really prestigious cars, more so than my BMW 3 Series I purchased. Good guy who dealt with me, clean and valeted. All good so far but think after 3 months you can tell the real picture. Did some work on it for me which looks to have done the trick. If the man who dealt with me runs ASM cars aswell then I would definitely recommend.

terrible company, sold me a ford fiesta with a number of Problems, 9 days after buying the vehicle would not start and had to have immobilizer, ECU and instrument cluster replaced costs have exceeded £1100 now. they refused to pay for repairs or give me money back for the car, of which I am now in the process of pursuing compensation
It seems they specialise in selling cars which are broken then they are very good out giving you any money back. We bought a car which broke down and wouldn't start after 2 days then they said bring it back so they can fix but the day we took it back we phoned and surprise surprise they are closing down. Now they have moved to Milton keynes..... so angry!!
sold me a car knowing it had engine problems. Broke down after 2 days. £1000 to repair, will not give refund or allow me to return it. They say part x car has broken down but they have it on website for £989...Ford focus C-Max 04 reg. they gave me £395 due to turbo fault apparently. No word of that on ad for sale...DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Awful. I bought a Mercedes. It broke down immediately. The ECU wasn't working when i bought it. Took it back the next day. It took them six weeks to fix. I had no car and heavily pregnant. Got it back covered in mud. 5 nobths later the gearbox blew up and it was scrapped. Abusive staff. Many other people had the same problem...should be shut down.
