This company is impossible to deal with. Sent an enquiry regarding importing a car. All I got in response (several times) was a reply asking what I wanted despite all of the information being in the messages I sent. Funny lot I would avoid if I were you.

Advertised, Very rare car, with only 5000 miles low mileage, 30 years old in excellent condition, the pictures looked great too. So I put a deposit on it. It was exactly what I wanted, a rare classic, in great condition, or so I thought! I called them and travelled a few hundred miles to test drive it. When I saw it I was shocked. It wasn’t the car in the pictures. There were dents, scruffy damaged paintwork, worn out soft top roof with rear window scratched to hell. It had been up and down more times than a fiddlers elbow. The leather seats were worn out, the gear knob and gater were worn out, as were the carpets. This car was advertised as only doing 5000 miles in nearly 30 years. This cars mileage had been around the clock at least once. Then I asked to test drive it and the gearbox was broken so I couldn’t even test drive it anyway!! A total scam and I lost my deposit. I asked them why they didn’t tell me the gear box was broken before I travelled a few hundred miles? I then confronted them about the condition of the car. It wasn’t the same car as in the pictures online. Then he got nasty and threatened me!! I was just blown away!. Then I tried to get my deposit back and found out I couldn’t. I called the auto car sales ombudsman to get some help and found out that this company didn't subscribe to them, so there was nothing I could do. Which explains why they weren’t bothered and got nasty. Please Refer to Ivan’s review below. It was exactly the same.” Situation. I couldn’t get out quick enough. Scammers be very careful

I bought a car from The Car Warehouse and it was from Japan, where a lot of people smoke in cars and it stank of cigarettes, the man their was called 'Keith' and he was so rude when i asked him about it. He was actually quite frightening. Please avoid

I bought some wheels which is NOT what they deal in exclusively so the team went out their way and packaged them individually and made them presentable. When I got them I wouldve been fooled they werent brand new. Really nice to deal with, defiantly trust worthy and will defiantly be going back to The Car Warehouse for imported vehicles

Bought a Mitsubishi evo 6 from The Car Warehouse in Middlesbrough and waited for it to arrive from Japan, further to this I then waited 6 weeks for the DVLA to register it. Then I collected it and drove it home where it developed a loud knocking from the front ,I contacted The Cra Warehouse and they said to book it into a garage where I lived because I was 300 miles away. At this time I thought fair enough, so I got it to a garage a week later only to find the fromstrut had collapsed, NO oil left in shock so they ordered a full set of coil overs which was nice until they turned up. They made out this cost more than standard but really it was the other way around they were the cheapest nastiest coil overs you could get with terrible reviews .Anyway to cut a long story short I drove 750 miles in this car and in the end I parked it up and had an inspection done by a reputable company which found the car unsafe all 4 wheels badly cracked and unsafe ,sump was damaged so that's why they forgot to service it, both bottom ball joints were no good ,rear diff had major problems engine wouldn't run and idle properly and wrong engine mounts fitted . So I wanted a refund. They dragged it out and cost me over £1500 in hire cars and inspections only to say they think I neglected the car in the little mileage I had done. They dismissed on inspection and did one them selves which I paid (they didn't know) a mechanic to stay with there inspector who found a lot of problems and as my inspector did condemned the car. Funny how they wouldn't give me a copy of there report said it was for there court defence.
