This weekend (June 23rd 2018) I just drove 100+ miles to come buy a car advertised as "12 month MOT guaranteed, just a scratch or two on the outside, has a smooth/noiseless drive". Car was MOT-ed last month, so not 12 month MOT, and I have no certainty about how legal that MOT was anyway since the car has : - non-working main lights - shaky steering wheel due to bad wheel balancing - brake friction noise when steering left after 2 to 3 miles driving due to damaged brake caliper. Not to mention a few other minor features that won't work despite being advertised as functional (parking aid, retracting external mirrors etc.), but those three main ones are enough to fail MOT for sure. About spotting these issues prior to purchase, seller found an excuse to make the test drive ridiculously short and irrelevant (I'm quoting: "Car only has 10 miles left of fuel autonomy, so please take left, then left, then another left"). Actual time of the test drive: about a minute, and because there was a red traffic light Bought because expecting some repairs and the purchase+repairs remained in my budget, but totally unfair to naive customer looking for a roadworthy car. Plus my car was dead cheap, but some of the cars they sell are tagged at 8 to 20 grands.

In February, I purchased a Vauxhall Vectra. It was in good shape and a reasonable price. The dealers were quite helpful and and I have had no major issues with it. They could have done a camb belt change but other than that they have been good and I would recommend them.
I am very happy with my VW Passat from The Carways. The car was clean and in good condition and a fair price. The dealers were helpful and I have had no problems at all up to now, everything's been absolutely fine. I would certainly recommend this dealership.

Everything was alright, no issues and the sales team were helpful. I purchased a Kia from them back in June and it runs really well and was a really good price. I am very happy and would recommend The Carways to my friends and family.
