My sister has asked me to write this review as she and I was very happy with the customer service. An unexpected prompt reply back from Andy when I enquired late at night. Booked in an appointment for the next day for as soon as they opened, test drive went good no problems and signing the forms were simple and explained thoroughly to us. She got an extended warranty too at a good price, car had just been MOT'd and cleaned so all ready to go on the day. Brilliant. Thanks from both of us.

I paid a £5k deposit with the rest to pay once they got the car ready which I was told would be in a day or two. We called them regularly every few days only to be told they are in the process of getting the car mot’d and valeted. Then the lies started telling us then they have found an electrical fault and the car has been sent to a garage to diagnose the problem, then to another garage and another then to Mercedes and no one was able to diagnose the issue. Everytime we called we would be told the person dealing with the car sale is not available or it’s his day off and when we did speak to him he would always say the boss is dealing with the car and he will give us a call back, this went on for nearly three weeks all the while I suspected they sold the car to someone else. I asked if the car had been mot’d and I was advised no, little did they know I had checked the DVLA website which showed the car was road taxed and mot’d TWO days after they took my 5k. When I told them of this they again played dumb and said someone else is dealing with the car and they don’t know what has happened but they will look into it and we will get a call back with some information and yes you guessed it, we never did get any information. The communication was dreadful and no one seemed to have the decency to tell us what they had done. We never got a phone call when we were promised and the owner never bothered to return the calls. We had planned our holidays around receiving the car which simply ruined our time off from work. All they had to do was tell us they had sold the car to someone else two days after they had taken my 5k which was bad enough but then to drag this out for three weeks and the lies and false promises... in the end we gave up and asked the monies to be returned. All this was very upsetting and unnecessary. I am now comtemplating seeking legal advice as I have records of the conversations and the receipt of the monies they took off me. Overall not one person we spoke to was honest or had the decency to be straight with us. Never experienced such shoddy service and dealt with such unprofessional people. Stay well away. It’s worth paying a few ££s more to get a honest and professional service.

Good morning! I am very saddened by your review and would like to apologies for a lack in customer service you feel you may have suffered. Yes we acknowledge this situation but wholehearted disagree with some of your points. It is correct the company took a deposit from yourself to start to prepare a vehicle that had just arrived in stock, once the vehicle went to the service centre a fault was discovered. We informed you instantly and offered you a refund at that point, you refused and asked to wait we updated you every few days as requested by your self then after a week of head scratching it was deemed uneconomical to fix the vehicle. At that point you where understandably disappointed but unfortunately these things happen, the vehicle was over 7 years old with thousands of components and further more we didn't attempt to "bodge up" and sell it on we have been honest and sent it back to source. I'm sure there are garages out there that would sell a vehicle in a bad state, take payment in full not return funds and the consumer be stuck with a bad vehicle but we don't. Anyway once again apologies for your experience but we sell 50 cars a month to mostly happy customers, good luck finding a new car and taking time to review your experience kind regards The Cheshire Motor Company

Got a 14 reg BMW, The car fitted the description on arrival and is exactly as I hoped it would be, no dents/scuffs, great condition! I had been searching on Auto Trader for a while for this car and the one at this branch was perfect.

Got a cheap run around when my car got written off. 9 years old and its in pretty good nick, mileage suprisingly isn't bad either! I'm happy enough with it! No problems so far.

I was very happy with how stress free the process was, they did everything they said they would do, they were flexible on price and came down on the sticker price to fit my budget which I appreciated. I'd do business with them again in the future

After reading the review below I was slightly apprehensive about going to the Cheshire Motor Company. I'm delighted with my car and all the team were extremely helpful, my young daughter was getting agitated and the receptionist calmed her down and kept her occupied whilst we were signing documents

If you want to use your car ? Then dont buy a car from The Cheshire Motor Company, I made that mistake. They give you 28 days warranty thats how reliable there cars are. They had the car back for repairs more than i had it.Also when you get in touch about it breaking down yet again their rep Mark spins you more yarn than any Lancashire mill could stay away.
