Made the mistake of trusting them when buying one of their cars. Bought unseen but was utterly riddled with faults that were not listed on the ebay page or described when we spoke over the phone. Was lied to again and again. Had an MOT but must have been a dodgy one with all the safety faults such as lights not working. Excuse given was that he 'hadn't really checked it over and it had been standing a while.' Not an acceptable excuse from a supposedly professional garage when the most simple of checks would have shown up the many faults, which he could have put on the ebay listing. I would never have parted with my money had he revealed the issues which are likely to cost me more than the car is worth to fix. I am left with an unusable shed, and he has my money. Also, V5 was no use so have to go about taxing it the long way round. Had they been selling the car through their normal stock, this would not have happened. A very disappointing experience that is no way acceptable. Crooks.

Alan, Peter, and Susan from us using their finance company called Alden Finance Limited. They also tried to trick us by sending a tax bill from the HMRC, and they also presented us court documents allegedly from the Leeds Court.

we brought a dacia duster from thompson and thompson crick garage and they were very helpful including sending for a part free of charge they also phoned to check everything was ok with the car that we had brought we are very pleased with their service and we would advise anyone looking for a change of car to give them a ring or a visit thank you mr thompson from br marson

Thomson & Thomson in Caldicot sold me a vehicle with serious preexisting problems (broken glow plug glued into cylinder head, snapped swirl arm and other related issues), but refused to meet their full obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and pay for rectification. Although they did make a "goodwill" gesture to pay for some work, the overall bill still left me nearly £1000 out of pocket. To compound the issue, whilst trying to reduce their apparent liability for the broken components, they even flat-out lied to me regarding the ignition functions of the engine (specifically that a diesel engine will not fire if the glow plugs aren't working - true for older units but absolutely false for a modern direct injection engine). Cannot be trusted.
