I bought a car using my old car as a trade in & paying £900 from my bank. Took the car literally round the block for a test drive. Didnt see any issues. Arranged to collect it in a couple of days time. Went back to get it - my car was to be dropped off later in the day so it was all arranged. Collected the new car & started driving the 10 minutes home. After arpund 4-5 minutes thick black smoke waa billowing out it & when i got home it was clear something was VERY wrong! Called the garage & spoke to the owner id bought the car frm. His attitude? "What do you want me to do about it?". Refused point blank to do anything saying i didnt get a warranty with him. Called Citizens Advise & the law is that for 6 m the seller has to fix any faults-warranty is not needed as a car sold should be 'fit for purpose'. Called Gary the owber back, explained this & got an absolute mouthfull back - shouting, swearing & calling me all the names under the sun....what a lovely guy...NOT!! Long story short - i kept the car, got it fixed myself (it needed a full new engine) and hax a great car. Please stay away from this conman. He sells cars with serious defects & could be dangerous which could compromise peoples safety....also he tries to intimidate people and is a genuine all round horrible, nasty little man. Hopefully the police catch up with him sooner than later. Ive spoken to a lovely lady who gave him a considerable amount of money to get a car converted for her as she is disabled. She told me that as she had known him for a long time she trusted him & no other garage to do the work. He took the thousands she gave him, didnt do the work & went on holiday right after taking the cash. He never spoke to her again. Its in the polices hands now. Who does this ?? Especially to a disabled person...that they've known for years!! Shows you their character doesn't it..... p.s - I REALLY WISHED A HALF OR NO STAR WAS AN OPTION FOR THE RATING.....

I bought a vehicle from this dealer who goes by the name of Garry docherty he trades through face book and market place I paid £1800 pounds into his bank account and he said he was selling the vehicle for an elderly gentleman which turned out to be lies came up with an elaborate story that the old gentelman died and I would have to get my money back from the old man's family here's the truth the elderly gentleman didn't exist nor his family Garry docherty took the photo of market place and scammed me so beware of three town car sales and proprietor Garry docherty he's a thief who steals money from vulnerable people
