Really disappointed with aftersales of Thurlow Nunn Norwich. Brought a car in April that has been back and forth a number of times with faults. Needs a new engine. Staff member didn't escalate as she said she would so a month further down the line and no further forward. I call multiple times a day to try and get answers, noone ever answers. When I do get through I get told someone will call back never get a call back. Really frustrating. Have given you the benefit of the doubt for 5 months to rectify the issues and now on the brink of rejecting this vehicle via my finance company. Noone can give reassurance that my car is safe to drive, the engine fault light is on and noone seems alarmed. Shocking aftersales. Quick to sell but not quick to communicate and resolve the issues.
Well I bought a mercedes gla from the Norwich branch last June paid for a 36 month warranty. I've now noticed a knocking noise so thought I'd call into the garage to get peace of mind if it's anything to worry about. Got told that I'd have to ring a number and book it in and it's going to cost £99 just to look at it . Not impressed.

My daughter has the same complaint £99 for diagnostics under warranty outrageous and as for the staff attitude that’s on a different scale altogether
Bought a Vauxhall Corsa from them in October 2023, turns out that within 10 days from driving off with my new car, the accelerator pedal needed replacing as the car went into limp mode. A month later, my engine misfired and the coil pack needed replacing. These 'issues' were rectified by their garage at no cost to me as I had purchased a warranty and I had had my vehicle for not event 1 month and a half. I started to question the reliability of their checks before putting a car on sale, they assured me things were done properly. Come the end of November 2023, the speedo starts to play up and stops working on a monthly basis. The car is first checked for this issue when the car is in the garage to replace the coil pack, following a misfire. No fault was found with the speedo. A month later, the issue returns and I book the car in again to check this in the hope they would find something. No fault was found again, I doubt whether a proper check on the dashboard was performed and to add to this, I get asked to pay £99 for diagnostic work, which has not been able to find a fault. As 'a gesture of goodwill', the £99 become £49 and get told that if they are unable to pinpoint the fault, I am liable to pay for diagnostics. At this point I have to question the integrity of this company: I get told to ask recovery to bring in my vehicle if the speedo stops again, only to make them aware once again that RAC refused to do this once before when I called them to do exactly that, as the car would still be working without a working speedo. I have never had a car with so many faults coming up in such a short period of time. The issues were rectified (apart form the speedo issues, which is still not resolved), however customer service and attitude is poor with some members of staff.

We waited days for what should be a 10 min job, 20min with diagnosis. Each day they put us off with, “tomorrow.” After missed medical appointments and a week off work, we had to get testy to get a response. We came in for a failed battery we purchased from them 10 months go, which was still under warranty. Despite the failed RAC battery tests (which nullified our breakdown coverage unless replaced), this dealership decided the battery was ‘absolutely fine’ - nevermind it only inched passed their battery test after they charged it for 4.5 hours. The manger’s advice to us was to detach the battery from the engine if we plan to leave the car for more than a couple days. That is not a fix. That’s a lazy attempt to cover up a lousy job for a poor-quality product. We went to pick up the car, after they assured us the failing battery was safe. When we arrived, the front seats were soaking wet from the rain the day before – the battery clearly wasn’t strong enough to power the auto window close function, and left a gap wide enough for the interior to be soaked. Somehow their technicians missed that, but sent us a suggested works list totalling £1.5K worth of work – all of which had absolutely nothing to do with the eclectics, or the original reason we brought the car in! They seemed to totally ignore our needs, and car issues - leaving us stranded with really low quality parts. We immediately went to a different shop, who tested Vauxhall’s battery and agreed with RAC. We needed to replace this ‘Micky Mouse Battery,’ and the rest of the car seemed fine. We followed up multiple times with this dealership, but haven’t received any response. Absolutely nothing. This is probably the least trustworthy shop I’ve ever visited, and is an obvious con. If you value you car, or your wallet, don’t bring it here!!!

Recently purchased a car from Thurlow and Nunn , could not be happier with service from start to finish. Thankyou Adam will recommend to friends!
Customer service does not exist in this company, instead they like to undermine and patronise you and also laugh at you, they have miss sold, and now will not hold up there end of the deal. Will never deal with this firm again and would warn anyone looking for professional service to do the same.
picked my new car up on Friday from Thuow Nun on the Norwich Hall Road so cannot say anything about it yet ,but as for Thurlow nunn customer service was very good Adam the salesman was a good laugh in the right places but a good salesman when it came to the business side of buying a car would I recommend them...….yes I would. Fantastic service from start to finish, lovely sales person. A friendly, warm feeling showroom with a no pressure sales approach. I will recommend all of my family and friends to Thurlow Nunn Norwich.
