Had a major service on my car got a call on the Mon asking if I was satisfied with the service, I questioned whether I should of had to pay extra for brake fluid renewal, I was told he would go and ask service desk straightaway, never heard anymore. Would definitely not recommend Thurlow Nunn Vauxhall to anyone.
Jody Causton from Thurlow Nunn Norwich Hall Road in response to Very poor
I am sorry that someone didn't get back to you about your brake fluid change following your visit to us. This is indeed and additional cost and would need to be paid for in addition to the service. The manufacturer recommends that the brake fluid is changed every 2 years. I believe this would have been someone from our booking centre who you spoke with during the follow up call and not someone on site at Norwich. I hope now some time has passed that the fact someone didn't call back, although frustrating, possibly doesn't deserve such a harsh review?
Refundable deposit turned into a non refundable deposit, the interim car insurance wasn't arranged so we were uninsured for a while, asked us which engine size we wanted and proceeded to sell us a different size, didn't ask for my bank details for the monthly car payments and assumed he could use my deposit bank account. Complained - no apology, no care, nothing. Will never come back.

Jody Causton from Thurlow Nunn Norwich Hall Road in response to Terrible experience
I am sorry that you felt your experience at Thurlow Nunn wasn't up to standard. If we take a deposit and its refundable the only reason it would change is if it is needed to go against the purchase and come off the price to reduce your monthly finance payment. This would only be done if you were in agreement. This is deducted from the price you pay so you are not losing the deposit. The only reason a Sales Consultant would suggest an alternative engine size would be due to availability or based on the information you have given and as a result the suitability.
Went to office in Norwich only to find it shut then went to hall road car is only six months old driving today stone hit windshield and has cracked the window asked what could be done only to be told nothing to do with us here is a card this is who we use sort it out yourself will never touch thurlow Nunn again for anything total lack of professional and this is after I waited nearly a year to receive my car, shoddy.

I am sorry you feel you weren't looked after during your visit to Thurlow Nunn. Unfortunately we had no means to repair a windscreen chip and can only recommend the company who we use. A windscreen chip can occur on a car of any age and at any time and although undesirable the age of the car has no bearing on this. We will always try to assist where possible. Jody Causton from Thurlow Nunn Norwich Hall Road in response to shoddy
I am sorry you feel this situation wasn't dealt with correctly. Replacing car windscreens is now a specialist job and not something we undertake on site ourselves. We will assist by recommending a suitable company to undertake a replacement for you and normally this can be charged to your insurance policy. Having read your review this appears to be what happened. Again i can only apologise that we do not undertake windscreen replacements.
I went into the showroom at Thurlow Nunn Vaixhall to purchase a second hand van ,was welcomed very well by a salesman who then told me about all the vans and offers they could offer .I was told everything in detail that i could have,in the end i bought a top model van witch had everything i wanted at a very good price.During delivery i was updated of progress and details .On day of collection all went well no problems. Now had van for two days and very happy with it. Thank you for taking the time to review your experience at Thurlow Nunn. I am so pleased that you are happy with your new van and we look forward to looking after you and your van for many years to come. Jody Causton - General Manager.
issue i consider to be a problem after buying an approx 17 week old car from thurlow nunn i discover the built in sat nav to have a 2014 map installed having spoken to the sales assistant contacting the sales manager speaking to the general manager speaking to their customer contact centre then raising complaint to director level conversing with him via email he referred the issue back to the person i had spoken to prior for further investigation so there you have it if you buy a car with built in sat nav from thurlow nunn the equiptment's software inside may well be years older than the car & the response will be as follows Following on from my email yesterday, I can confirm that I have investigated the matter with the Management team responsible for this branch, and I am now in a position to respond to you with my initial findings. Clearly you feel that your Dacia should have been supplied with a more up to date satellite navigation programme, however on investigation it is clear that we have supplied you this car with the specification/navigation map that was current at the point of manufacture/registration and therefore we feel that the current specification to be correct. Clearly this is not the answer that you were looking for, and obviously it is sincerely regretted that you had cause to complain to our firm. However as a result of our investigation we believe that our actions were justified, and that we have no obligation to upgrade the specification of your car. Thank you once again for taking the time and trouble to write and for bringing this matter to my attention. Regional Director and Head of Sales. Needless to say i am not happy with that so now i will seek further legal advice one thing is for sure i wouldn't buy another car from thurlow nunn as i dont feel they are sincere in handling a complaint or problems what ever they may put on the bottom of emails
Jody Causton from Thurlow Nunn Norwich Hall Road in response to all very friendly at first
I am sorry that you are not satisfied with your purchase. The Dacia was traded into us by a customer who had recently purchased it from a Dacia dealer and wanted to exchange it for a Vauxhall. As you stated the car was very new and was resold with exactly the same Sat Nav equipment as when it was sold new just a few months previously from a Dacia Dealer. If the Sat Nav was acceptable a few months prior when the car was new I do not feel it is reasonable to expect Thurlow Nunn to upgrade it. I understand that you did come to an agreement with the Director in the form of a good will gesture.
I would not recommend thurlow nunn Vauxhall as we bought the car and then broken down just in10 days and tow back to them leave a note and keys explained what happened, expecting received a phone call for them but nothing. So phone back to thurlow nunn and asked to speak to the manager , conveniently manager is not available and they are not willing to fix the car immediately and not offer to provide any courtesy car at all judging we only had a car for 10 days. Very poor service!!!
Avoid Thurlow Nunn completely. Our car went in after a fault and after supposedly fixing it the car broke down again with the same fault twice. I eventually took it to another garage who were gobsmacked at what they found. Put in a complaint which was handled appallingly, wasnt happy with the outcome so I referred the complaint to Motor Codes - Thurlow Nunn then offered a refund of some of the work - NO APOLOGY. Advised cheque would arrive within 2 weeks, it has now been nearly 4 weeks and still waiting. Their customer service is horrendous.
Keep your wits about you when talking money ie sales and servicing team. I do not recommend Thurlow Nunn.

I would very much like to discuss your comments further and see what happened to give you this opinion. We are a long established family owned business with customer satisfaction being at the very heart. Please contact me directly jodycauston@thurlownunn.co.uk - General Manager.
Would I recommend Thurlow Nunn Vauxhall, not a chance, couldn't find my vehicle or the keys which were parked onsite and keys posted at there request. The said that I had delivered the vehicle after they had checked. Wouldn't trust them and have read reviews online that prefer customer paying rather than doing approved warranty work. Shouldn't be in business.
Asides from the car being taken back 11 times in the first twelve months, the engine rebuild, new gearbox, bits of trim falling off, exhaust clamps "disappearing", the "mechanics" (using the term lightly) breaking parts getting to other parts that need fixing, and then not fixing them, the terrible valeters that I have told not to touch my car again, the amazingly poor customer service bar 1 person, the meeting with the general manager of all the branches in east anglia who was quite frankly, unhelpful, rude and quite arrogant, the accusation of using a low octane fuel when running the car on only v-power or bp ultimate, the useless staff who you ask to go and get the manager who you have an appointment with and then an hour and a quarter later asking another member of staff to do the same thing and finding out the first one hadn't done such a thing, the amazingly poor availability on courtesy cars, and the terrible quality of them (got in one that someone had been smoking in and had a dog in) it was quite good. Love the car when it works which isn't very often. However the £23,000 I spent there was the biggest waste of money I have ever encountered in my life. I know numerous people who have purchased cars from here and are extremely dissatisfied. Wouldn't reccomend to someone I hate with all the passion in the world.
