Bought a V50 2.4 predominately dealing with Tristan at point of sale followed by Tim. Nagged Tristan to death, always calm and polite, had a couple of faults after sale, dealt with in a prompt and polite manner by them both. I have been in the motor trade for 20 years plus and know a thing or two about how dealers operate, however these two were the competent professionals dealing with me, and I can only but highly recommend this dealership to anyone thinking of purchasing a top quality used vehicle. Well done to you both!

I’m very sorry you feel this way David. When you first mentioned a wheel vibration at a certain speed, we quickly agreed for you to get the car looked at locally to yourself, due to it not being practical to return it to us. Upon your instructions, we did not hesitate to pay the garage of your choice to rectify the problem. We were unaware that this did not resolve your issue until a few weeks later when you suggested to us that the problem persisted. Again, we agreed for you to get the problem addressed, however mentioned that at this stage, we would cover the cost of a repair, including parts, however would not pay diagnostic charges, as we had paid these the first time round, as per your instructions. This time, your garage suggested it was indeed a buckled wheel, and needed specialist repair. It was questionable that somehow between your test drive, and a few days later the wheel became buckled. Without prejudice, we paid for repair BUT NOT THE £30 diagnosis, as advised to you.

Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the poor customer service and after sales service I received. I will never by a car again from Tim Hayward Car Sales.

This is a very puzzling review, firstly it is totally out of character from any other review we have yet to receive. It may not be the first “one star”, as no matter how hard we, or many other businesses with good reputation try, it is next to impossible to “please everyone”. However with our excellent reputation for our after sales service, and our reputed product knowledge, I’m surprised to see one star across the board, as it is this reputation we endeavour to keep, and take pride in doing so. Secondly, it is the only feedback we have received off “anonymous”. Giving this review the benefit of doubt, and not taking it as the malicious review it most probably is, please take the time to contact us, to enable us to discuss your reservations, and hopefully change your opinion of us. We believe with the lack of detail, and without and correspondence on our DMS system we believe this is a malicious review, if we are wrong, and this is indeed a genuine review, then we urge the author of this review to contact us, and to give us a chance to resolve any complaint you have.
Good communication from Tristan who answered my questions and sent through service record. After checking reviews, I took a risk and paid a deposit before traveling from North Yorkshire to pick up the car. They picked me up from the train station and I test drove it back to their place. Nice, tidy V40 was as described. Advertised MOT was only 4 months, but when I picked the car up they had put it through new MOT. Really friendly and helpful. Would buy from Tim Hayward Car Sales again.
Having seen a car they had for sale that I was interested in I went down to Tim Hayward Car Sales to have a look. They were very relaxed salesmen, not pushy in the slightest. (I mainly dealt with Tristan) Considering it was myself and my mum on our first visit (2 females) I didn't feel intimidated at all. They let me take the car for a test drive and were happy to answer any questions I had, if they didn't know the answer they found out and got back to me. On my second visit they were happy for me to take the car to a garage of my choice for them to have a look at. I didn't end up buying the car (I am probably one of the fussiest people when it comes to buying cars!) and when I phoned to let them know they were just really grateful that I had contacted them to inform them of this. I would recommend Tim Hayward Car Sales and should they get another car in stock that I'm interested in I wouldn't hesitate to go back! To clarify I am a customer and I have no affiliation whatsoever with Tim Hayward Car Sales.
Bought a BMW 1 Series Coupe from Tim Hayward Car Sales today. Brilliant customer service and very helpful! Man on test drive told me the ins and outs of the car and was very helpful. They also gave the car a clean before we left! All the workers were very pleasant and happy to be there!
I purchased a BMW Z4 from Tim in December and the whole process was enjoyable, he was extremely helpful and knowledgable. I found the car on line and having never bought a Volvo from other than a main dealer, l was a little apprehensive , however when l arrived at the dealers, l was met by Tristrum, a very polite and helpful salesman who knew his motors, l had a test drive and all my questions answered . I then met Tim also a very nice man the whole experience was excellent . I am pleased with the car and would not hesitate to recommend Tim HaywardCars the stock was wide and very clean get the Tim Hayward experience you will not regret it
I bought a Subaru from Tim Hayward Car Sales in May. The dealer was alright, pretty helpful and the car was really nice and clean and in very good condition. It was fairly priced and runs okay. Over all I am happy and I owuld recommend them.
