I am a pensioner and purchased a Vauxhall Astra SE 1.6 Auto car from Tim Marchant Motor sales in March 2021. The process in all fairness was seem less from start to end when purchasing the car, a polite service. When driving away is when the problems started... The issues for me started soon after the purchase! 1) Expansion tank issue (RAC called) 2) Two tyre punctures due to the outer edge of tyre releasing air due to wear - two new tyres required and purchased. 3) No Bluetooth connectivity although it was advertised - when reported Tim did not understand what Bluetooth was but this is no excuse for false advertising. You'd expect better from a car salesman to understand what they sell as per their advertised description. 4) Gearbox issues (RAC called - Gearbox needed to be rebuilt - very expensive to correct). The experience for us has not be enjoyable, the aftercare from Tim has been very poor. Calls and emails ignored. Voice mails left and also ignored. Would I recommend this Garage, No I would not. He was an exceptionally honest and knowledgeable seller and he will definitely be my first port of call when it is time to buy my next car.
