Blooming awful car dealer. I bought an ex-MOD car...which was sold with a full service history. Wrong! Hardly any service history. However, Adeel did arrange a full service...although I can't prove that they did complete it. I didn't know that the car tax would be double the usual because it is ex-MOD. There is a big chunk out of the rear brake light cover, which I have asked them to replace. It now has condensation it it. It was planned to be done when it went in for the service, but it wasn't. Adeel promised that he would get it sent in the post, but it still hasn't arrived, after 3 emails. He didn't respond. There is also a knocking in low gears and the brake pads are thin. I had to go online to get the MOT and found out later. I feel there was a lot of lying, blagging and avoidance. I am not very happy. Sort out the rear light cover please.

Sarah Benson in response to Awful car dealer.
Kevin from TGS has been in touch to resolve the above issues and has been very helpful. I am happy with the response so far and will post an update once all issues have been resolved.
Sarah Benson in response to Awful car dealer.
After receiving a complaints procedure from Top Gear after my reviews, I sent in an email detailing all the things which had gone wrong. Kevin was amazing at sorting everything out and went above and beyond my expectations. Well done Kevin! I wasn't expecting such efficiency at getting it done and making right what was wrong with the car.

Sorry to hear your experience with these dealers. Having read your review and many others, I will be looking elsewhere. I was going to look at a car there tomorrow.
I purchased a car from TGS in April of last year, paid a deposit to secure the car and it would then be MOT’d and ready for collection in a few days. On collection of the car, the new MOT had 7 advisories, the previous had none. I agreed to purchase on the principle that they would rectify the advisories. I also then found out the car had an outstanding recall, so should never have been sold. TGS were useless post sale, never securing a date for work to be completed. I reached out to AA cars as TGS were an AA approved dealer. The AA had no luck and advised me to escalate my complaint to the motor ombudsman. 8 weeks after complaining to the ombudsman they advised that TGS are not affiliated with them, so a complaint could not be resolved. I then went through a Section 75 claim with my credit card to retrieve most of the monies paid. Take this as a warning, they are not an honest or reliable dealership should anything be or go wrong post purchase.

Saw the car online and all looked good, rang up and all my questions answered and everything appeared well, but on seeing the car is was disgusting! Lots of damage to the car that was not listed on the advert, wheels completely scuffed up, scratches all over the car and a small but noticeable smashed back light. Looks like the bumper was also a different colour the the rest of the car, looks like it could have been in an accident, but told all history was good? Car was absolutely filthy inside and out. Had almost no fuel in so couldn’t do proper checks, guy who took me for test drive did not know much about the car and wasn’t able to answer any questions Something very dodgy about the whole place, would advise people steer clear and if you do choose to try, please go see the car before buying!
The worst experience of my life I bought a Japanese import car, a Toyota Noah, from this dealership. It was supposed to have 25,000 kilometers on the clock, but I found out that the car mileage was actually 192,000 kilometers when it was sold in Japan. You can easily find the report if you have the car's chassis number and search for it online. I drove the car for 20 miles and the hybrid battery started malfunctioning. The car also had two broken front shock absorbers, two dodgy tires, and a broken speedometer. It took Mr. Jaffer seven weeks to fix the battery problem. And when I confronted him about the mileage fraud, he offered me a £711 refund and mocked me. He also started making lies about me threatening him. The matter will go to court soon, and I am entitled to a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Guys, don't make the mistake I did. Stay away from this dealership. They cut corners really, really sharply. The worst experience of my 45 years of life. I hope this review helps you to consider buying anything from this dealership.

Purchased a vehicle from this dealership back in June, had the vehicle delivered to my home address 3hrs away. As soon as I got in the car to drive there was no window switch on the front passenger side and there was a knocking sound when turning, took to a garage to be told the coil spring needed to be replaced!can never got hold of anyone to speak to and when you can they are rude!!had rude emails sent to me by the so called manager telling me to stop calling. Spoke to finance team who agreed the spring needed to covered by the dealership but they were also struggling with the dealership. Would never recommend this company to anyone!!!!seems a lot of reviews are similar also

after 2 weeks of having the car, and the engine fault light coming on the second day of purchase and noticing electric windows did not work, the clutch went and a full replacement and also a new fly wheel costing in the access of £1200. no choice but to scrap the car. very dodgy and sly place. was told I was lucky to drive it from stoke to the Wirral and make it home in one piece. kids absolutely gutted as clutch gave out on the way to Alton towers. called the place and met with a rude call handler. Rishard is an absolute cowboy. Rishard has also said the the manager that I had people shouting in the background but when the manager has listened to the call he has acknowledged that Rishad has also lied about these claims.
Bought a vaulxwagon polo 08 rej. Was promised that all was missing was the Fog Light protectors. After driving home I realised the electric windows did not work. This wasn't disclosed in the advert or when viewing the car. The next day the engine fault light come on. I called Rashard about both these faults and he said it would be fixed by the dealership but not at the weekend. When Monday come around he is ignoring my calls. I call the car dealership and was spoken to in a patronising manor by another member of staff. First time driver just trying to buy a car and not be ripped off. Stay away
I would urge you to never buy from top gear Stoke, I bought a car in December , straight off the bar I knew something wasn’t right, I tried numerous times over a few months and could never get who I needed to speak to, when I did finally get someone he claimed I hadn’t been trying to call and had no messages or calls from myself, I then told him the issues I had , which was electrical systems failures , constantly self defaulting tyres, and dash board lights illuminating then turning off. His reply was why are you phoning me about a flat tyre when in actual fact the alloy itself was so badly corroded inside it wasnt able to keep the air inside and causing gaps, this was the same for all 4 tyres. Regardless he refused to do anything about it as I had, had the car 4 months, let’s just say I had been trying to get in contact for ages before this but funnily enough never anyone there that’s able to take the call!!! Anyway finally gave up after arguing , emails which il admit I was angry so he got his cheek right back from me, then I had to get my finance team involved , my car was still under warranty and still well within the consumers rights act 2015 so they asked me to get a diagnostics done by a VAT REGISTERED garage which I did and have the evidence the car wasn’t road worthy, and legally they were responsible for collecting the car and for the repairs which was totalling round about £4000 including labour, they refused to collect the car so the finance team had it collected and dropped off to them, then 2 weeks went by with numerous calls to the dealership from my finance team to be met with best person to speak with isn’t here, to then getting too we are not fixing the car, so the car has now due to be collected by the finance team and rejected on my behalf! I’m one of the lucky ones who managed to escape the scams this garage sell and be given a release from the agreement due to the car been so ridiculously unroadworthy!!! Some have not been so lucky, so I suggest if your planning on buying from this dealership, think again. ALL PROOF HAS BEEN ATTACHED to my google review, I would advised looking at it before you enquire about the cars sold here.
