Avoid buying a car from them! By Kate L | 29 Nov 2020 Bought a car from them was told it comes with 6 month warranty but I never received any paperwork to show this, when I questioned it I was told any problems call them and they would help. I have only had the car 4 months and the clutch has gone. I called them today and was told it’s not covered and nothing can be done. I asked to see the warranty paperwork as I was not given any and they put the phone down and told me to f*** off!! I have tried to call back again since but the phone is now off the hook and I can not get hold of them. Avoid buying a car from them! I have also had to pay for the alloys to be cleaned and sanded down as they were all corroded on the inside and my tyres were losing pressure because of this. I would seriously consider before buying.

Very bad brought a car for 7500 pound it's got rust all over, they never wanted to know and said it's my fault I shouldn't have brought it when they covered it with black paint. A new MOT that should have failed as breaks was leaking fluid they didn't want to know. And wheel alignment well out, needed to put 4 new tyres on it withing 4 weeks. When spoke to them they said, was brand new tyres when sold. Clearly ain't if they have gone in 4 weeks. Bad people stay away
Bought a van off them in Feb. Loads of work needed doing but they promised to book the van back in. Been ringing for weeks to book the van back in as they promised. Left messages and emails but still no reply. Drive up there yesterday to find out what's going on only to find the garage isn't there any more. Apparently its gone bust and they still have so much work to do on my car. Don't know where I stand now. Any help please?
Purchased a BMW 1 Series from Top Spec in September. This car came with full MOT and the dealer is AA approved so we thought we were doing everything right. Almost immediately we had issues with it starting now and again. The battery on it was old so Top Spec paid for us to have a new battery fitted which was great of them. Annoyingly the problem persisted so we took the car down to them and they checked everything and couldn't find a problem. 5 months after purchasing the car I broke down on a dual carriage way and had smoke coming from under the bonnet. After having the car towed to a local garage, I called Top Spec to ask if they had any notes from when they checked the car and they said it was just the battery and starter motor - which they didn’t tell us about. We were told they couldn’t find any problems. The small garage was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it and told us that it would have been obvious the starter motor was on its way out when we purchased the car. Unfortunately Top Spec aren’t as trustworthy as they first seem!!
Spoke with the dealer about a van I was interested in, advertised as having full service history. So from the advert and having spoke with them I felt confident enough to get finance in place of which I did. Arranged to get a train from my home town to wales which took me over 2hrs, when I arrived to view the van with the view of taken it home the dealer couldn’t prove any service history not only that when I test drove the vehicle a fault came up on the dash and so say this van was ready to go. Avoid this dealer at all costs
What a shower of shit my sister bought a car and they lost the log book so she gotta wait 6 weeks now with no car for work and to take her 3 year old to school cause they won't help her out after their mistake stay away people they well dodgy
Absolutely shambolic!!! After seeing a van online I really liked I phoned them up to see if it as been sold which they replied " No but it's in our prep centre " and will be back tomorrow. Four days I rang to see if the van was back and they kept saying different times throughout the day then at the end of the day will say it will be in tomorrow. At the end of one day they told me it will be in 100% by the end of the day so I can view it first thing in the morning.. Next morning came and I set off to view the van.. travelled three quarters the way up and got stuck in traffic so decided to phone them to say i wont be long... they then told me the van wasnt in. I wasnt happy after travelling all that way to turn round and go home.. another 3/4 calls throughout the day saying different times it will be in again which didnt happen. I phoned them after 9am the next day to make sure it was before setting off and they told me it's back from " The prep centre " so I said I'm on my way. I got there and someone went to get the van.. I waited 20mins for them to bring it to the front and I was in shock at the state of the van they were trying to sell. Outside of the van was stinking.. open the drivers door and inside was full with thick dust everywhere mud in the foot wells the seats were in a hell of a state. I open the back of the van up and it was worse, The ply line flooring was all ripped up with a lot of it was chucked in a heap in the back. In the roof of the van there was a hole the size of my fist.. I told the salesman and his reply was " we will have to filler that". I looked at him stupid and said look at the size of it my arm will go through that. Another salesman than came out and I told him I been waiting four days for this van to come in from "The prep centre " .. so what as been prepped on it... he didnt know what to say so made up something on the spot and told me the back bumper is new and they put it on the van... again I looked at him stupid and said... if it's a brand new bumper the black bumper will be dark black and not faded like the front bumper... He didnt know what to say and you could tell they didnt have a clue what they were talking about.... As the old saying goes you cant bullshit a bullshiter. I walked off tamping but it was a blessing really because I then drove down to bridgen and bought a van for £500 less than the one I went to view at topspec motors with lower mileage.... WASTE OF TIME... Black Citroen dispatch before you ask which van it was

Part exchanged my car with Top Spec Motors back earlier. I test drove the car I wanted before driving away got them to check over annoys I was hearing to be told it was just something that made a noise with the weather.. turned out to be the drive shaft £200 thank you very much. Was missing a sat navigation card I did phone up three times for it but was never sent out. To top it off I had a ticket for driving in a bus lane for the car a part exchanged with them and I’m now being taken to court because it was sent to my old address and I was unable to sort it from the first letter phoned the garage to explain this little help was offered. This offence happened after I park exchange the car with the garage how they get away with it I don’t know.
