Hello... yes the sheriffs did come. However, the information and comments by the sherriffs were incorrect. The payment was made to the court and since we have received the moneyback although the programme stated we did not appear in court with our case.
Worst experience with any retailer ever. Town Autos lied about numerous things including being rac approved which they are NOT, and later told by a garage the car I bought from them was unfit to be driven after owning it for 3 months . Phoned them and was laughed at . Please avoid Town Autos in Dunstable.

Bought a car from Town Autos and after a few weeks I found out that a temperature sensor was broken, and that the electrical installation had been manipulated in order to bypass the problem. Dont trust them.

Be Aware pf Town Autos! I bought Passat 2.0 TDI Bluemotion 62 plate on the test drive 40mph was fine. as soon as I hit the motorway the car keeps on pulling to the left witch is odd for a recent car like that and I have find out the driver's airbag is exposed. I have contacted Town Autos after 4 days of the purchase to see what we can do about this and I can not believe how Terrible the person who spoke to me stating they are busy this weekend and can not check it and I have to bring it during the week or to wait for next weekend. I can not describe enough how rude they are telling me this is not a complaint line and if i am not happy to send an email. I called again, another rude person offered me £20 for tracking in a sarcastic way laughing at me saying if I contacted AA they will laugh. There are enough reviews on the internet confirming the same experience but it is my mistake that I read only the reviews on here. I will be liaising this matter with AA. I hope this review helps future buyers!!!

Many thanks for your review, you saved me 40 mile trip and probably wasting £8,000 on one of their cars.
Town Autos were rude, and run a dealership of smoke and mirrors to confuse and hoodwink. I bought a car from these people when they were in Burr Street, Luton, but i notice they have moved once or twice, and the company changes directors and addresses for fun. Watch these people and their affiliates. Its taken me 7 months and no car to get this to court.... Know your rights before you go - don't learn them after like i have had to. Stay away is my advice and do your homework and check out their address. As the address showing on this website doesn't look like any car dealerships on streetwise. Neither does it for the address showing on their own website in MK41!! Be warned.
