Very helpful company providing an excellent service. The most honest car dealers I have ever encountered. Highly recommended.
Just bought my new car and can't thank Tp Motors enough. They did everything for me and car was spot on. They gave me great price for my part exchange as well which was a lot more then we buy any car so what a bonus. Really nice guys to deal with so will be going back for sure when I'm in the hunt for a new car is in the future.
AVOID AVOID AVOID. LIBERTY TAKERS WeI didn't want to believe that these guys would knowingly clear the EML- after discovering it had 8 major DPF/ERG faults, and sell it to me. I travelled over 200 miles from Glasgow to buy the car. I told them I needed a reliable car, with space for 2 wheelchairs - for my young brother and mum - both seriously ill On arrival, I received a call, advising to get home urgently as my brother, who had just found out a few weeks before, was terminally ill & had taken a turn for the worst. I'd been caring for him with the Palative Care team so was , so stressed, anxious and vulnerable. On arrival the director and his mechanic were looking over the engine after "just discovering" the 360 cameras didn't work. I needed them as I'm just 5 foot and it was an SUV. My only concern then was to get home ASAP. Part way there, the EML came on, I phoned to tell them. I didn't know at the time these can be cleared and if the faults not fixed, it'll come on again at some point later. Had I known that, I'd have found the nearest train station and dumped the car. I'd have never have taken it if the EML was displayed on my arrival. After losing my young brother, I then provided end of life care to my mum as her health quickly deteriorated. . I just couldn't take the car back to Bradford. Despite explaining my situation, TP Motor Sales certainly weren't offering to collect/transport it back there. They advised to get a quote to repair it in Glasgow and they'd see about paying the bill, however,I couldn't get it fixed. I was stuck and they knew it. During another call to the director, I said if I managed to bring it back, could I swap for a car of the same/similar value - I just needed a car now I can rely on. He said it has depreciated in cost, by £2.5k (33%) in a few months, so I'd need to pay the difference. I sought advice from car dealers, and see was told it would probably be worth more as the second hand car market prices had went up in that time, due to lack of new cars/ increased demand on used. 2 repair centres couldn't find the camera fault during the time I paid for their services (and they'd struggle to find parts) They both also said it'll cost thousands to fix the cooling system/exhaust problem- and they wouldn't know how much until they'd worked on it for hours. They said there was no way it was just bad luck. I'd contacted the company again to advise and explain my situation. No offer of help/solution was given. Later/recently,I took it for it's MOT but immediately they could tell the CO2 was far too high. While there, the engine seized. Mechanics from 2 different companies said it was due to the faults identified by the EML and there's no way they believe the EML light had just came on for the first time when I was driving home... The engine repair specialist also said there were known issues with these and he'd had numerous in needing a new engine - all with the same engine fault. Now today, the director emailed to tell me that as I didn't return the car, it's my fault and did I want to speak with their "legal team" If it had been a few hundred pounds repair bill, months after buying it, I'd accept it as a risk of buying a used car, But this was a £7.5k car that was sold under false pretenses and not fit for purpose. They didn't fix it before sale as they need it was a time consuming/costly repair. I guess they seen me coming -the silly blonde that lives hours away, rubbing their hands knowing they'd got rid of it. They took advantage when I was going through an awful period. How they sleep at night is beyond me. It shows me the type of characters these guys are. The Finance Company are now involved. Don't be fooled by the Mr nice guy act - go elsewhere!!! I just wish I did.

We are sorry to see this review as we feel we have gone above and beyond in the situation described to support and help you given your circumstances. It’s disappointing to read that despite our after sales team advising you to bring the car back over a period of 14 months and this did not happen. On initially reporting the problem to ourselves on your drive back, we advised you to return the car immediately and understanding your need to return home a courtesy car was offered however you declined this and advised you would return the car another day. To resolve the issue with minimal upheaval to yourself at what was evidently a stressful time we advised that you get two independent diagnostics completed and a quote for any works needed at a garage local to yourselves of which we would cover the cost. Over a period of 2 months the after sales team repeatedly contacted you to enquire as to quotes/repair costs however each time were advised that the car had not been taken to any garages within the area. We advised strongly against continuing to drive the car and advised that any issues with the car if left undiagnosed and not repaired could result in irreparable damage to the car. We were extremely sorry to learn about your brother passing and we felt our after sales team went above and beyond to support you. We offered to find a local garage, get quotes for works doing and cover any repair costs, whilst we appreciate that this was a very difficult time for yourself the after sales team agreed multiple dates over a 16 month period for works to be completed on the car to which you never attended with the car. At nearly 10 months and you doing over 9000 miles, since you had purchased the car you contacted our sales team and advised that you would like to swap the car. We advised that we did not have a car of like for like value at the time, at no stage was depreciation mentioned however it would not be unreasonable of any garage to consider this on a car over 10 months old. We again advised against continuing to drive the car and again asked that you either return the car for works to be completed or take the car to a garage local to yourself of which you did neither. We are sorry that you feel the car let you down on this occasion, however we do feel strongly that the car should not have been driven over such a prolonged period and had diagnostics and repairs been completed in timely manner the outcome would have been very much different. We have proceeded to instruct an independent engineer to inspect the car and hope that this brings clarity on the issue. We wish you and your family the best for the future.
Mum bought a citreon c4 grand picasso about 2 weeks ago was fine on the test drive. They delievered the car... the car was sat on my mums drive for about a week. The first time she drove it the problems occured. Esp/asr faulty electronic parking break faulty! No power 3 warning lights on the dash. Rang them to tell them and they told us to bring the car back. So we did 48 mile journey the car was fine til about 15 miles away from there garage and the same problems started! A 2 hour drive took us 3 hours! Got there they took it for a drive round but the problem didnt occur i explained to him it doesnt always happen. He then disapeared with the car for about 10 minutes came back and said hes had it on a computer and theres no faults he then later went on to say that it hadnt been on a computer but he knows theres no faults as the engine management light wasnt on then tried saying its because my mum uses both feet 1 for brake and one for accelerator . Bit of arguing and a few harsh words later he agreed to a refund we just needed to post all the documents that came with the car back to him which we did. The enevelope arrived empty and hes now saying they cant refund until the documents are found. If theyre arent found hes gunna deduct money for the documents ie log book and hand book and decduct even more because the car is worth less money without service history even though the envelope arriving empty is not our fault!

We are sorry to read this review as we have done all we can to help you, including inspecting the vehicle ourselves to look for a fault and getting independent mechanics to look at it and plug in to check for faults. None were found. In the interest of simply drawing a line under the matter, we were happy to provide a goodwill refund. However, we needed both the car and all the paperwork including the service history that was provided with the car. For whatever reason, the envelope you sent was empty when it arrived, as evidenced by our postman. If you find the missing documents, do please let us know..

I purchased a Vauxhall Insignia back in July. I have had no issues at all. The dealers have been really helpful throughout the whole experience. The car is excellent value for money and I will happily recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a good used car and excellent service.

TP Motor Sales were nice people and very accommodating, apart from the slight disappointment of an issue with the car not being covered under warranty I'd say the experience on the whole was a positive one, I'd certainly use them again.

Everything at TP Motor Sales went smoothly, they've been in the trade a while and seemed to know their motors. I'd have no problem recommending them to friends.
