I appreciate buying a used car from a dealer comes with potential risks - you never know who the dealer is, of course they want to make the sale so they're friendly but will they still be friendly after the sale if there is a problem etc etc... Personally I found these guys (or this guy) to be great. I have recently been searching this dealer again because I bought a van off him in 2015 I believe and I was wondering what else he had for sale. Anyway, my experience: I'd been searching for a van that fitted my requirements for a while and eventually found a Vauxhall vivaro LWB on gumtree, I contacted the guy (sorry I can't remember his name now), he told me it had just come in and was in for a valet, MOT, service etc... all the usual stuff that dealers do with their cars. He said he'd phone me back after the weekend when he'd got it back. Eventually I think he said he'd hold it for me as I was the first caller out of many. I took the 2-3 hr journey up to Wales. Friendly when I arrived, showed me around the van, but didn't come across as a pushy salesman, chucked me the keys and sent me off for a test drive, I came back, was happy with it and bought it. He was then patient enough with me taking up his lot space whilst I sorted out insurance. I know since purchasing it, I phoned him a couple times, once to check whether he'd sent the V5 document off (he had, it was just slow in the post back to me), and the other to ask him if he had any service book for the van (he hadn't) both times he was fine on the phone and asked if the van was still ok. Since ownership I've changed a couple tyres, brake pads on the front and late last year the clutch went - all things that are well beyond anyones fault. So my experience has been brilliant, no complaints.
