Swansea synter have been carrying our repairs for me. They text me last night to tell me the car was ready for collection. I phoned the next morning as I couldn’t make it the night before. They informed me all was fine and to come and get it. I spent an hour waiting in the dealership to be then told they couldn’t find my car and then they had discovered it was locked in another building and I couldn’t get it until Monday. The guy telling me was aggressive and accused me of not having phoned! This is when it all got really odd. I asked him for an apology and he told me no. I have never been treated so badly and felt quite threatened by the member of staff.

Disgusting customer service. I contacted Sytner BMW, Swansea on Wednesday and showed an interest in a 7 Series BMW that they had in stock. They had done an online valuation of my Part exchange which is a 730D M Sport 2018 and given me a valuation of £25,800. I explained to the salesman Chris that I would not do a deal on their BMW 740iL on the basis of that valuation, as I’d already been offered a bid of £27,500 for my car against a Mercedes S Class by a Cardiff dealership. The Salesman then says to me to come and visit them to view there car, and that he’s sure that it will be worth my while, as he should be able to better the offer on mine, to get me closer to what I’d already been offered for it. When I arrived at the dealership on Thursday with my car, the salesman Chris commented on how fantastic my car was, how it had a great spec, and what amazing condition it was in. I then was presented with the BMW 740iL that they had for sale. Firstly the car had 4,000 miles more on the clock than it was advertised with, secondly it had a terrible repair job on the passenger side rear quarter panel from previous damage with orange peel finish in the paint etc, thirdly the leather in the car which is light cream all dirty and marked, also the car smelt like a ash tray inside due to being smoked in. When I mentioned the smell inside, I was told with a few valets it would probably disappear in about six months. Then on top of the fact the car had these issues. He comes back to me after making numerous comments about how fantastic my car was condition wise, and the spec on it, and offers me £23,000 for it, which is £2,800 less than the original offer he had made me, but told me if I went there he was sure he could better it. I had already made it crystal clear that I wouldn’t of gone ahead with a deal on the offer of £25,800. Completely wasted my time, I travelled over a hour to have this experience. I would avoid these people at all cost, as they tell you what you want to hear to get you there, and then go back on everything once your there. Shame on you Sytner

Hi, I want to explain my bad experience with BMW company , I bring my car for a programme recall + diagnose, they took my car and after few hours they phoned me and they told me that the engine mount need to be replace and it cost £170 , I told them ok fix it please they told me that I cant take the car until next day. Next day Friday they sent me a video about the car status and this video make me in doubt because they show me one small scratch is about 1 -2 cm and they told me that is a damage !! I was shocked ! this is not important to tell about scratch! After few hours the phoned me that the car is ready for me, I paid the money and I left the company at the end of day work. When I back home I shocked when I see a water and fog inside the headlight( right) when I checked the headlight I found out that is broken in the side near the engine. On Saturday I went to company to tell them about the broken headlight but someone told me that no manger is avaible come back on Monday. On Monday I went to the company again, a manager lady come and talked to me and I explained the problem to her the problem, she was very rude and I think her name is Kelly, she is not listen and she denies that the problem is not the company fault. I asked her how you know that is not your fault? She said we have CCtv. I asked her if she checked the cctv ? She said no! So why you said is not the company fault and how you judge and insist without investigation !! . I told her this is BMW Company is not a cheap garage and I choose you and pay money doesnt matter how much because I trust the company, she replied with a rude tone you not coming to us for that reason, you come because it is a recall and it is free!! I told her I just paid £ 170 and I show her the invoice . She said ok I will check the cctv and we will phone you later, I told her I have another problem as well is the check health report of my car they gave me ,I noticed that the scratch which mentioned in the video was written in the report! I show her the photo of the scratch and I asked her if this a damage? She told me scratches and damages are the same! And I told her if in future I want to sell my car, the person who will buy the car will ask me about what mention in report, do you think he will believe me the scratch was the same that mentioned in the report, she told me DO NOT SHOW THEM THE REPORT! I told her this is service history of the car of course they will ask about it. She whant me to be dishonest she learn me how to cheat people!! She advises me to hide this report when I sell my car and at the same time she wants me to believe that she does not hide what happened in my car when they had the car. How can I trust her and the company who employee her . People who work in car auctions and grages are more honest than her. I swear that all what happened I swear by everything I believe in,she said to me that. I ask her that there are another small scratches diffrent areas in the car, why you only insist on this scratch which was in the same area that I found the headlight broken?. She told me I don’t know After that I left the company and they sent an email telling me that the problem in headlight is not their fault. I will never give up and I will make complain about this bad servies and behavior of this lady. Please my advice to all people who think to go the BMW company DO NOT TRUST THEM! 2- If you go to them to buy something they treat gently and they smile but if the make a mistake in your car they will not tell you and if you come to them to discuss the problem they will deny and treat you with rude behavior. This small message for any head manager in BMW Swansea Branch or outside swansea who has authority over this branch of BMW and if he want to know about what happened with me and this dishonest employer lady in swansea BMW He/ she can check the cctv on Monday 17/10/2022 about 09:50 am and there was another lady and addition to two employers on desks you can ask them and investigate about what happened. I would not buy a wheel barrow from these I bought a Jaguar f pace developed battery problem secont week I had it it took them 11 weeks to sort it even then I had to sort a garage to have the work and pay for it myself sent them invoice took another 3 weeks to get reimbursed they also forgot to put years mot said to me get mot and we will pay its been 2 weeks now and several emails but nobody has responded I think this is a total disgrace.

I bought a three month old ex demo 330i from Sytner Cardiff June 2019. Worst handover I have ever received from a dealership. There were one or two technical issues and I called in Sytner Swansea where I live to seek advice and was told by a sales person as I had bought the car from Cardiff it was suggested I take the car back there!!!!!!!!!. Some issues persisted and it appeared the battery had not been fully charged. The car was charged overnight with the help of Lawrence from the service bay and then I was given great help by the BMW Genius, Paige, who took her time explaining features about the vehicle which should have been done at the handover. She treated me courteously which restored a bit of faith. Sytner will have to work hard to retain me as a customer in future.
The floor staff at Sytner BMW Swansea are friendly & helpful (well done Oliver you tried hard) the management couldn't organise a p**s up in a brewery. Had a brand new car in October, went badly & unfixable U/S 3 weeks later, agreed to a replacement. Due to collect today, after 5 months wait to be told that although the finance folk (of the of the biggest) have made the payment, and they can see it in the account, their "policy" is not to release until the money is cleared. Don't ever ever use this lot, I will never get another car from them, you do so at your peril.
