Bought focus st 2019 took back because had scrached dash . They crashed the car on there site . I said i dident want the car any more because of the damage they have done to it . They said they would repair it and thats all . Wow who want a damage repaired car for £16,000. Scumbags dont go near them
The family focus was in for a service but I was at work, so my disabled mother had to take the vehicle for the servicing, she went to the nearby shopping outlets whilst the car was in the shop about 5 minutes from the dealership, her scooter broke down whilst she was shopping and the staff, now finished with the service, came and collected her in the vehicle to avoid her being stranded. Amazing service, literally.
I went in for a wing mirror replacement, after an initial chat they quoted a price so got booked in as they could order the part. It came to the day it have it replaced, turns out actually needed more work than initially thought and more parts ordered so had to book it in again and quoted a new price of £182… It came to the day when it’s booked in, waiting for an hour and then the sale advisor who quoted me the price in the first place comes over asks “oh what price did I quote for this job?” (Surely you should have this information seeing as you showed me a quote?!) I said the £182 as I had messaged my other half when it was first quoted to ask if he was happy with that. Suddenly it’s actually nearer £300… ?!?! He said he’s managed to get it down to £234 with discounts etc etc. Clearly he hadnt checked properly or he wouldn’t have quoted the £182. He kept saying he didn’t know how it was that price quoted as the parts alone were more - why then was he happy to put “discounts” on it to get it down - obviously realised he hadn’t done his job properly. I had no choice but to pay this price as the work was completed but it’s completely out of order and unprofessional. Why should I have to pay the difference because he clearly didn’t check properly in the first place?! Make sure you get a quote in black and white in future!

I purchased a new focus ST3 in 2018, the vehicle had not been checked and the keyless entry did not work, they kept the car for six days but i still had to pay the instalments of £318 a month, i had the car back one week and discovered the scuff plate was not lighting up so had to return it again. A few months later a creaking sound was coming from the suspension, they then replaced a bearing on top of the shock absorber, three days later the problem returned, i tried to book it in again but they were not interested, when i did eventully get it booked in i had an aggressive attitude of one of the mechanics. All they wanted was a sale, later on i discovered i had signed paper work for extra cover, wheel, damage, cosmetic damage, interior damage etc putting around £45 a month extra on the finance, i never asked for this, the forms were slipped in and i assumed they were a legal requirement.. I complained to Fords customer relations and got a very frosty reaction, they said the extra cover was a separate company and i needed to contact them to cancel it and get a partial refund, i discovered the company was owned by Fords under a different name! I have had six new Focus ST cars over nine years and i dont like being taken for a cash cow or a mug, the extra cover was no more than PPI and when the law allows me to reclaim my loss i will be coming after it. Your company is run by second hand Arthur Daley salesmen and third rate grease monkeys. You dont respect customers, you dont want my custom, and even this web page is just lip service. i shall go elsewhere in future, if you can afford to throw away £30k plus the fine!
Purchased a used car from this dealer in 2014. After 7 months of use problem developed with motor which caused major problems with work and social life. The 'after-sales' support was appalling. I would recommend steering clear of this dealership

They tell you that if you put a holding deposit down that its totally refunable. When you then say you dont want the car they say deposit is non refunable. They dont call you back when they say they are. Absolute disgraceful customer service. Was originally told that the car could be moved to a closer branch, but they told last minute that they cant, so we had to go out our way to view it. Buy your car from elswhere! You have been warned

This was the worst experience I have ever had going to look for a car. Saw a few cars online and decided to have a look at one at TrustFord Erdington with the potential to buy. When I arrived with my wife and child, a sales man walked straight past us without acknowledgement and greeted the mother and daughter that arrived immediately after us, asking "how can I help". Slightly disappointed we continued and looked at the cars we came to see. Throughout our time there none of the free sales people came to attend to us. One of the cars we came to see happened to be open, one of the employees in the office locked the car remotely when we approached it and continued with their business rather than attending to me a potential buyer. We left absolutely disgusted at this dismissive and disrespectful display of what I can only see as prejudice. If you are an ethnic minority it would seem that your money is no good at Ford Kingsbury Road Birmingham. Went to Evans Halshaw instead, customer service was brilliant and got a better car which we are very happy with.
Recently bought a car from TrustFord Erdington and they were very helpful sorting out the finance but very slow on showing a car or advising on which model to purchase.
TrustFord Erdington is the new name of Heartlands Ford. This dealership offer a range of motability vehicles, as well as servicing, parts, repairs for both personal and business users.
