Garry sold us a car which he was aware had problems, within a week and a few hundred miles car was in limp mode with engine light on, was given endless excuses as to why no one was at the premises and why i cant bring the car back, kept being told phone back tommorow or his mechanic isn't there and his wife has just died died wouldnt be surprised if he told me he is on the moon...... took 4 weeks for him to even accept the car back to repair, The "in house" warranty is just hilarious, it doesn't even make sense, it's just a list of poorly spelt items on the car, doesn't say whether they are covered or not.... let's hope I don't have a problem with my GAERBOOX! 3 months after purchase with no vehicle causing me great inconvenience....I am still waiting for my money back, Save yourself some grief and stress...... shop elsewhere

From start to finish Gary can't be faulted in any way. Always upfront and honest and kept me upto date on every detail with the car I purchased. Stuck to he's word and replaced with new parts that need replacing. He made my experience of buying a car very pleasant and a great experience. I would honestly recommend Gary at tudor cars to any family and friends as my experience and service he provided was above beyond expectations. Kind regards Stuart.

The guy at Tudor Cars was an absolute gent when I initially enquired and purchased a vehicle for cash. Didn't use the car for a few weeks, as still was using my company car. When first started using the car purchased here, the steering was veering more and more to the left: I decided that as and when I'd run it into my local garage rather than bother the proprietor of Tudor Cars, as I assumed it was something minor like the tracking. After a couple of weeks, and the weather turning, I endeavoured to get the heating to work - after checking manual and fiddling around with it, it was definitely not working. This was aside from the headlight and a rear light failing (these were minor things, of course, so again, happy to put right myself) Hadn't had the steering checked at this point, but it's now severely pulling to one side, I hit a bump in the road, and it yanked the steering wheel completely out of my hands...so doesn't sound like something minor. Decided it was time to call the man that had been happy to take my money, and it must be said, he was kind enough to throw in a warranty (possibly, but not necessarily, knowing this car was trouble) No idea, what kind of use the warranty will be to me, I will find out on Monday, once my local garage has checked the car, to give me a run down on it's condition... Mr Tomlinson was very short with me on the phone, as he said he was in the bank, and advised me bring the car down to his premises the following day. I booked the afternoon off of work in order to take the car in. On my arrival at about 2.15 pm (I was originally aiming for about 1pm) the very nice lady in the office, informed me that he was out at the car auctions in Chelmsford. She called him in my presence, and he did not have a clue, who I was, and what was I doing there?! I had had a conversation with him less than 24 hours previously. The lady advised he would be 10 minutes, but said that this was highly unlikely to be 10 minutes, and would be a whole lot longer. I said I'd pop back, but due to the other headlight going, (what a surprise) and it getting dark, about 3.45pm, I decided that one, I needed to get home, and two, I was extremely hacked off about this man's complete disregard for my time, and could not guarantee that I'd be civil. I emailed Mr Tonmlinson, to express my disappointment in having a fools journey. I didn't expect a reply, so it was not a surprise when he didn't have the decency to even offer up an apology.....I think this constitutes, what's known in the trade, as ''mugging someone off''. Clearly the proprietor of Tudor Cars thinks and believes his time is more valuable than anyone else's. This attitude is unacceptable, and pretty p**s poor in my opinion. He was quick enough to take my money, but his behaviour/after care, whatever one can call it, is absolutely dire. My friend came with me the day, I had the wasted journey, as she wanted to buy a car....no prizes for guessing if she will be buying from there. He certainly lives up to the second hand car salesman 'persona'. The car is being investigated, and I would highly recommend **DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE*. Spend your hard earned money with a car dealer with some integrity. As for the positive reviews....?? I wonder No doubt he'll pipe up now.
We searched everywhere for a car and nobody at other car dealers helped like Gary at Tudor Cars did, very helpful and honest.
Bought a Fiesta from Tudor Cars for my son with a few things that needed fixing. He said that these would be done in the next few days and we shook hands on it but when I picked it up they were not. After many occasions trying to contact them and receiving pathetic excuses including being told that either he was getting changed and should phone him back later or that his electrician was ill so could not get in to remedy the faults, I have given up trying. This went on for about a month without any proper contact. One of the faults was an MOT failure which still has not been corrected. I have given up now trying to speak to him and am sorting the issues out myself. I would warn anyone looking for a second hand car to avoid this company at all costs. I hope that Tudor Motors read this and contact me to at least rectify the MOT issue.
I spoke to the dealer about viewing a car and told them when I was coming. A bit awkward to get to the place. He threw a load of service history at me and didn't really seem to want to show me the car. He spent a while going through the papers and I was thinking this guy obviously hasn't got a clue about the car as he couldn't answer a simple question about it. I just walked outside to see the car. It was stuffed in a corner, pretty poor body work with key marks all over. I asked for a test drive of the car and then the guy suddenly turns really rude to me. He said he can't be bothered and I'm wasting his time. He would only take me for one if I said I was going to buy the car even though I had only arrived, haven't really looked at it or even sat in the car. I just wasted a lot of money getting here by public transport on a hot day, and somehow I'm wasting his time? He didn't even think to apologise to me. The whole place looked really dodgy but I decided to give it a chance. I wish I didn't

Tudor Cars Ltd from Tudor Cars Ltd in response to Rude, lazy sales person
I am sorry you felt you had your time wasted Stephen. I waited for you after numerous phone calls to say you were on your way. I had stayed an hour and a half after opening hours for you to arrive. I remember you very well. You came in with a very bad attitude, kicking the tyres and asking for the price to be dropped by £300. I did feel I was having my time wasted. I can only assume you were hot and stressed with your journey. I don't know where you had come from. I am lucky that the majority of the public that walk through this door are friendly and happy to accept my service. I have an established business and with a good track record for repeat customer sales. I am known locally, I have been here for 28 years and take a pride in the service I provide. It is a shame you have spent your time pasting this over every site you could find to leave a review on to try and ruin me and a local business.
Really pleased with my car and service from these guys!
Garry Tomlinson from Tudor Cars Ltd in response to Just bought my second car and delighted!
