They sold us a dangerously defective Motor home, with a Habitation Certificate that was not worth the paper it was written on. When we first reported the non functioning gas system , they wouldn’t accept that it was faulty arguing that the habitation report confirms that it was operating correctly at the time of delivery. Even when we showed them a faulty gas regulator valve that was out of date six months earlier, they still denied liability. In the end they repaired some of the faults (6 months later) but when we queried why not all the faults; the language they used cannot be repeated here. I strongly urge you not to use this company. They do not understand the concept of customer care and will say anything they think you want to hear. If anything goes wrong they will abuse your trust, your money and even abuse you verbally. They are so unprofessional that we are reporting them to Trading Standards in the hope that no one else has to go through what we have.

I have to totally agree with you. Whilst I can’t comment specifically about our dealings with them as it’s ongoing I have screen shot your findings and forwarded them on. I hope you did report them to TS as we did and the more people that do this maybe something will be done.
I've put a long review up elsewhere. Essentially we put a deposit on a motorhome having not driven it or had any checks because that's not allowed before you put deposit down. Paid £1k Got a pro check done and essentially it was a heap of rust with dodgy tires and a whole other list of faults, parts missing. Refused our deposit back will only swap to another vehicle. Serious questions about their mot offered. The van is still up for sale when our pro check said it needs a lot of work. Can supply the expert report.. taking this to trading standard s next.

I can very well believe this. As like the previous review I totally agree with what has been stated. Ongoing issues prevent me from making a statement at present but reporting them to TS is a start.
Bought a transit custom only to realise when needing the brake pads changed there was no locking wheel nut key, so I contacted Autostop to see if I could get a replacement or if they still had it (reasonable question) to be told that I must of lost it. Tried to explain that wasn’t the case to be told that I was looking for an argument and became very annoyed which in turn made me annoyed not the outcome that was needed on either end. since then trying to find a replacement or to get someone to remove this specific one has been a nightmare. I feel this could have been managed much better by the owner and not accusing me of loosing it or looking for an argument. They all seemed fine when spending £18000 with them but since, I’m not so impressed. I’m thinking they could have just contacted the garage they had the van serviced at as they should have checked the brake pads which means removing wheels. The garage may of forgot to put it back in the van but unfortunately I couldn’t get a word in. Well done another happy customer. I’m well aware this will be removed oh also body control module failed and turbo within 6 months.

I found Gemma, Ian and peter were very helpful and very good when I perches a van from them I came all the way from Wales to collect the van Gemma even pick me up from Newcastle station I can only go bye how they treated me and that was brilliant would recommend them to friends once again thanks
We purchased our used Bessacarr 305 last week. We thank Gary who was most helpful without being pushy. A clean and tidy vehicle for its age exactly what we needed for the odd weekend away. Their after-sales service was second to none. Our thanks to all concerned at Tyneside Autostop.
Booked appointment at Tyneside Autostop to view motorhome, dont know why,daft idea,salesman no help,motorhome not what we were after,asked to look at similar priced one and told i couldn't no appointment booked but told i had booked appointment for a more expensive one, I hadnt so decided to leave.waste of time,bought motorhome elsewhere so i wasnt,as they seemed to think,a time waster.they lost a possible sale because of they're stupid system and lack of help.
Phoned tynside autostop in newcastle upon Tyne for used land rover evoque sliver prior to visit for veiwing and test drive was Oked for a visit to have look and test drive as per telephone conversation while reaching at the Tyneside autostop speaking to customer service person he was Very rude and rejected to show the land rover evoque sliver and give a test drive, if we had done the test drive he insisted that we had to put a deposit to buy the car before even looking at the car didn't make any sense and wasted our time and trip. Would recommend anyone else Tyneside autostop newcastle auto stop.
One of my friends bought a vw tiguan from Tyneside Autostop which suppose to be fully serviced but it wasn't . After 2 months the engine management came on. We go to the vw dealer to check and the dpf filter is out , the cambelt said it was checked but the the vw dealer said it was from the factory plus the other things like coil springs were bad and 2 tyres from back. Please don't buy from this!! The friend is still dealing with the finance company and this dealer.
Bought a van from Tyneside Autostop, supposed to be fully serviced turns out it wasn’t service light came on after a mile turns out needs dpf filter and an alternator. Emailed them got no response stay well clear.
