Bought a car from U motors which within 3 weeks developed a major engine fault. Spoke to the garage who tried to give me every excuse to not fix the car even that someone else is buying the garage. Completely fully of rubbish cowboy company. I’m now taking them to the small claims court to get full refund of the car as the major fault developed within 30 days. Typical back street dealers that think they can trade cars and not follow the trading standards. I’ve also reported them To trading standards who will now be investigating them and my next step is inland revenue for tax fraud after they asked me to pay into a private bank account as a gift. I offered them the chance to contact me to resolve but they didn’t want to know.

Bought a car with no V5 but took it back and changed it for another the next day but that also had no V5. Was 'persuaded' by the dealer that we could take a V62 to the Post Office and get tax immediately BUT he had to write on the form that the vehicle had been purchased a month previously. We did get the tax ok but within a couple of hours realised that the turbo was not working and it was changed back to the original car. I informed DVLA. Went to the Post a Office with another V62 but couldn't get tax as it was already taxed! Asked for refund from The dealer as we'd stressed that we needed to use the car immediately and this was a'Breach of Contract' but he definitely was not going to refund. The upshot was the 2nd car sat on our drive for almost 3 weeks and a £65 fine arrived for the 1st vehicle as it had been parked on a public road just a few days before we purchased it. As soon as we turned up to the site where he keeps his cars that should have been warning enough NOT to buy there - this is a much shortened version of our horrible experience.

this dealers are selling bad vehicles. bought a Renault Megan 05 plate from then 3 days ago. the car stop on the motor way, and car almost crashed into another vehicle. the car poor just turn off. the worn wasn't working. and the key plate wasn't woking. the car just suddenly stop on M25 with my kids in the car. the Harvard warning light wasn't working. the police doesn't normally get involve in civil dispute but they made my case this first. This trader are well aware of the issue with their vehicles but they don't care. I have report them to trading standard and they are under investigation. They have also stole someone else company name to trade. the original dealers are base in 307 Romford road Forrest Gate Greater London E7 9HA
