V12 Marketing Team from V12 Sports And Classics in response to Few Faults
Hello, we are sorry to see you are unhappy with the car you've purchased from us. Please contact us on social@v12sports.co.uk with some further details and we'll gladly look into the case for you. Thank you in advance!
I purchased a car last week, they said the car had 6 months manufacture warranty, they also said they would fuel up the car. Once the paperwork was completed they said, they will not fuel it up as it was not company policy, why LIE? Today I contacted the manufacturer which said there is no warranty. I contacted V12 about this, the person was rude over the phone, told me they wouldn't do anything about this and told me to go and and do what you want. When I first looked at the car, it was OK, but not properly clean. They said the car would be cleaned, while I waited, When I brought the car home, it has a huge white stain in the boot. which wasn't there when I first looked. Seriously If you want to ruin your day, use these guys, they will definitely do that, but I don't know how they are still trading.

Things took a little longer then expected when purchasing from here, mainly from lack of communication. I will however say the car was good and I'm pleased with it. so not all bad!

Kirsty, Marketing Team from V12 Sports And Classics in response to I bought last year
Hi, We are delighted to hear that you are happy with the level of service provided. We wish you many safe and happy journeys with your car and we look forward to your next visit!
Purchased a BMW X3 from V12 Stoke in Dec 2017 which had 1 previous owner and full service history. After spending almost £15,000 we thought we had purchased a decent and safe, family car. After 11 days, whilst driving to London, the car had a major issue whilst driving on the motorway and the engine caught fire and the car filled with smoke whilst driving in the 3rd lane. Extremely scary experience with 2 young children in the car, with luck, we managed to pull over to the hard shoulder. Contacted V12 and they advised us to contact the AA warranty which was sold with the car. The warranty is actually with Motorway Direct (not the AA) and they could not find us on their system, we didn’t have our policy with us and therefore they would not help us! We therefore contacted the RAC and they recovered our vehicle without question and towed us home. We wanted to return the car to V12 at this point but their Stoke site said they were not insured to have the car returned to their premises…. we found this hard to believe. Once home and we had our policy details, the “AA” advised us of a local garage to take the car to, but we had to pay the diagnostic cost to find out the problem as they did not cover this. We could not have the car towed to this garage until the New Year as they were closed. On 31 Dec 2017 we decided to reject the car as we felt we would not feel safe in this car following the incident. We wrote to V12 to reject it under the Consumer’s Right Act 2015 (which states you can reject for a full refund if your purchase is less than 30 days ago, you’re entitled to a full refund if it is not fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality, you must stop using the car immediately – we could not start the car anyway!). We contacted Citizens Advice and they advised us how to proceed and they also reported the incident to Trading Standards due to the seriousness. However, trying to get a refund from V12 has been a challenge, even though you have consumer rights. We have had to provide evidence that we have put the correct fuel (diesel) into the car as they suggested that we had put unleaded into the car. We provided a receipt as we had only put one full tank of fuel in the car, but this was not enough. We then had 2 independent fuel sample results carried out (1 which their garage sent off), again proving it was diesel, but this was not enough. We then had to get video footage of us putting the fuel into that car, which luckily Sainsbury’s did have. V12 after sales have been unhelpful during the whole time, avoiding phone calls, letters and emails from us. The car was transferred from the first garage to V12, and at this point, we thought we would get our money refunded. Their solicitor then wrote to us telling us V12 were not liable as they had a further AA report done saying the car “smelled” of petrol. Hardly hard core evidence suggesting a “smell”. Their solicitor also suggested that we may have purged the fuel system. We rejected these claims and demanded our money back once again. We contacted Trading Standards as they were also looking into the company at this point and they spoke to V12 on our behalf. Eventually V12 also questioned the AA report and took the car to BMW for inspection. This confirmed that the car had not have been miss fuelled and that the car had numerous issues including the EGR and manifold. V12 have finally refunded us for the car value, however we are certainly out of pocket for much more than just the car. The whole experience which has caused our family much stress and the incident could have been much worse! V12 have no value, respect or trust in their customers and will make you jump through hoops to avoid doing the right thing. I wish we had read the negative reviews on this company before our purchase, but after a lot of effort and perseverance, we have got our car money back. HUGE THANKS to Citizen’s Advice and Trading Standards for their support.

We are very sorry about the experience you had with us.
I read all the negative reviews and I still purchased from this company, but I should have listened to the negative reviews and not purchased as I was sold a dud car and V12Sports and Classics will not any assistance with the repair. This isn’t a missing key or a squeaky door, this was engine failure of a 2014 Mazda Cx5, a 3.5 year old car! Engine failure should not be happening in a 3.5 year old car. A quote for a replacement engine is coming in at 7,500 and numerous emails and phone calls were all avoided for a month only to finally respond with “Unfortunately due to the mileage covered since purchase we would not be able to assist with repairs” the mileage was 14,000 miles. What a rubbish excuse. They just won’t offer assistance. The AA 128 point check isn’t worth a dam, the company doesn’t care about after sales. The only way to avoid their after sales is not to buy from them. Please please read the reviews, and purchase your car elsewhere, there is obviously something wrong with the cars they are selling and they don’t care if it does fail, you the customer will end up with the cost. It’s a pity I can give a 1 star as this is a zero star company. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Its such a pity V12Sportsandclassics aren't as quick to respond to emails and phone calls at your office as you are online. I'd be more than happy for you to discuss and sort out my problem with me for the rest of the car buyers to see, but no doubt this wont happen. ~My problem, as you seem to think, is not with the AA, its with V12Sportsandclassics. The AA128 point check is a waste of time and means nothing, its V12 that sold me a car with a dodgy engine and wont do anything to sort out. This quote for repair is now standing at 3,500. some business you are. Are you going to offer any assistance now? I await your response

After collecting our BMW X3 we noticed a squeak on the way home. We were told we had 3 months warranty and we had also paid for 12 months extra AAcover. We rang V12 and were told to take it to a garage of there choice who incidentaly were mainly a tyre garage. They couldn't find the problem and said it needed stripping down, they would have to see if our new warranty would cover it. The insurance company refused, saying the problem was due to wear and tear. We promptly had our money refunded for the extra 12 months warranty which was obviously missold to us because anything over 50,000 miles is classed as wear and tear..These policies are not with AA , it is Motorway Insurance using the AA logo. V12 said they would pay for the car to be stripped down so the car went back for another day. Again they could not find the problem and recommended we take it to BMW for a diagnostic check. we had now had the car for 2 weeks. It took BMW 10 minutes to diagnose the problem, The wrong size tyres had been fitted to the car after the AA inspection. They were cheap snow and mud tyres therefore damaging the differencial on a permanent 4 wheel drive car. The estimate of the repair was £2830.00 and BMW told me not to drive the car as this would cause further damage. V12 insisted on repairing the car at there so called garage that fitted the wrong sized tyres but we knew that within 30 of purchase we were entitled to a full refund. The car sat on our drive whist we made at least 40 phone calls over a number of days. The management would not speak to me and we thought we were going to have to speak to a solicitor. I then said I would be willing to consider another car if there was one suitable. The saga continued and we finally saw a car at there branch at Wolverhampton. We made an appointment with the manager ther but again he was faceless and we were dealt with by an assistant. V12 insisted we drive the damaged car to Wolverhampton from Nottingham for the exchange. I managed to get the car there arriving we a strong smell of burning oil. When I read all the reviews of how wonderfull this company is I have to smile. Yes , if there is nothing wrong with your new car everything is rosey but woe betide you if you have a problem, you are on your own!!!!!!!
