Bought a bmw x1 which was back in garage within a week. Also bought a seat mii which was also back in within a week. Both are on 3yr finance and have cost a fortune to get them mot,d. I asked about this but was just told there's nothing they can do. I am paying for repairs out of my own pocket constantly plus the finance.but this can't go on for much longer. I don't think the finance company should give 3yrs finance on cars that won't last that length of time I won't use them again. Is there anything I can do?
Poor. Drive from the other side of Scotland to find a well valeted car ..... that turned out to have a pretty obvious gearbox fault. Rejected the car. Was refunded, but they decided to keep/steal the full tank of petrol we'd put in the car before realising the gearbox was faulty. Won't be using this lot again.

Don’t waste your time!!! Sales staff don’t return calls ever. Took three weeks from purchase to receiving the car, car hadn’t been valeted and had damaged console that wasn’t damaged at time of purchase. Took another month to replace the pets which I ended up doing myself. Car needed brakes done within a couple of weeks and further damage was found by mechanic. VTC don’t want to know, worst experience of purchasing a car we’ve had.

Bought a Seat Leon FR from them, great service and good deal however, 7 months down the line the clutch has suffered major failure not through ware and tare no warning. I just want to say, be ver careful if your choosing VTC for your next car. I am now dealing with a difficult case with the Ombudsman neither the finance company or the dealer ship have apologised and offered support. Sadly it will be the last I will use them.

Can you let me know how you got on with the ombudsman as I am having the same problem with an Audi I have had for 3 months and I have only had the car 20 days at most
BOUGHT AN A6 AUDI WHICH WAS BEAUTIFULLY PRESENTED AND A NO BRAINER FOR ME I ONLY LOOKED IN ON MY WAY TO THE MANY SHOWROOMS IN AYR YOUR MR GRANT ORR DID A STERLING JOB IN CONVINCING ME THAT THIS WAS THE CAR FOR ME HE WAS RIGHT I LOVE IT AND IT DID NOT BREAK THE BANK THANKYOU

Avoid at all costs! Bought a car from this place 3 and a half weeks ago. Was told it would be ready in a week so I sold my old car and had to use Public transport for 2 and a half weeks. Was told by a sales team member that management knew about it and weren’t happy with the situation either, turns out once I EVENTUALLY spoke to general manager he knew nothing about it and agreed the communication has been more than poor on this occasion and he’d phone me back. He never did, he sent an email unaddressed then continued to argue with me over the phone saying “that’s not his fault” I forgot his name etc. told me I couldn’t speak to anyone higher up than him. Also- they passed my cars mot but then needed it to be fitted with a major brake cyclinder even though the mot was passed and not wrote as an advisory. The mot it passed before hand had a huge list of advisories and failures from the last test and the things they found in the new mot meant it should have never passed the first MOT it had- thankfully I’d asked for a 12 month mot on it and our problems just increased from after that. Also the sales rep who sold me the car left the company the day he sold me it and promised me more than they’d have been able to give. Also nobody wants to help me with contacting the director who I’d like to speak to regarding their general managers behavior- general manager name is Craig.

I bought a Q7 Audi from Grant, All the paper work done with no surprises within a couple of days and the online signing made things go even quicker as I live a few miles from Kilmarnock. I have a couple of things to get mended but Grant azures me this will be done at my convenience, which benefits my family. Well done to Grant very good salesman no pressure and he ended up with the sale and a Happy Customer, I will let you know if I get my work carried out. Thanks. Billy
