The first car we bought from these guys was a little A3 170 sport, our first foray into the world of Audis and diesel. This was 4 years ago when their business was just getting started. That little car never missed a beat in 4 years. Now they have just found me a wonderful Audi A6 Avant, and it is beyond what I expected to end up with. They have been looking for a car for me for about two months, with fairly loose specifications, and dismissed some for not being good enough. Some dealers would just palm you off with anything, but not these guys. They even held this car for me while I was on holiday, even though I hadn't yet seen it or committed to buying it. That was really appreciated. The car they found for me has pretty much everything on it, and it looks amazing. It drives like a dream as well! I can honestly say that Jay and Andy (and Tom who we met briefly) are the most honest, friendly and sincere people we have ever had the pleasure to deal with when buying a car, which can so often be a daunting experience. We will be back to them in the future when we need to look again, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

I bought an Audi A6 Allroad from Velvis back in March and have been more than happy with both the car and the service I have received from Andy and Jay. The car had to go back a couple of times for a minor issue and on each occasion the car was sorted quickly and efficiently. Drew and Jay are not only knowledgeable they have the ability to treat customers like they would expect to be treated. I would happily purchase another 10 cars from them based on my experience. I'd been looking for a specific C-Class Estate with all of the added extras. Not even Mercedes main dealers could find me the specific one! After nearly giving up, I managed to find one, I called Velvis to verify that the description matched the actual car on the site as it was over 100 miles away. The car was exactly as described! I loved it, left a deposit came back to collect after going on holiday! Whilst i was away the car was cleaned, they completed a cherished numberplate transfer for me and made my new number plates! Found exactly what we were looking for on Velvis website but as we'd been disappointed on 2 previous occasions with other dealerships we were a little tentative about the 2 hr journey from Lincolnshire to Colchester. As it turned out we needn't have been. ...the car was exactly as advertised...Drew and Jay were honest and straightforward blokes....A real pleasure to deal with. The cars Sat Nav had an issue with GPS, which we didn't realise until we were back in Lincolnshire. But after contacting Drew and explaining the issue he promptly ordered a replacement ariel and the problem was solved. As my husband says "honest car salesmen....who'd have thought it"!.....wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future....probably be our 1st port of call if honest.

After previously, before I got in touch with Velvis I can pretty much guarantee that I had received the most worst second car experience in history - Fact! So obviously I was all fingers and nails but have to admit that the second they bothered to pick me up from the train station and was offered lunch I straight away felt at ease! I knew from that second on that this dealership was and is second to none! The whole complete package plus experience that these guys offer was unbelievable - Even to the point that once I did purchase the motor that I had travelled nearly 3hrs to look at, because it crossed all the dots & t's, plus match the description given I straight away always felt a sense of honesty! NOW... If my next sentance does not convince you to buy from this dealership then I'm sorry you need your head read - Fact! When reversing out of there forecourt I then somehow managed to smash the rear drivers tail light bumper etc My worst nightmare? Wrong! They fixed it for me!!!

OK, so first about these two guys Andrew and Jay: Young, down to earth, honest, informative, passionate and helpful. They build a trust the moment you walk in. They are not the average used car salesmen, they really are into their cars and they know A LOT. Bought a Mercedes E400 AMG convertible. Absolutely no idea how they had managed to get hold of this rare beast (Mercedes has been on to me twice now offering to buy it), but they had done it and there it was ! Perfect A1 condition throughout. So then I come to finally drive it away, and guess what ! I have no insurance for it yet, so what do they do? get me a temporary drive-away 5 day insurance on-line ON A SUNDAY on their own personal credit card ! So full credit to these guys - Wish them the very best.

I bought a Mondeo from Velvis which they had taken in part exchange fir another car they sold. The car was thoroughly cleaned inside and out and their honest and friendly approach was the deciding factor. After a couple of weeks the air con stopped working but this was no problem for them, they even loaned me a car whilst mine was repaired without any fuss. I would definitely recommend Velvis to my friends and family
