It's nice to come across someone who sells cars and is not an Arthur Daley type. VFM are courteous and very helpful, they go that extra mile to make thier customers get the best deal, that's what I feel anyway. Next time I want a car they will be my first port of call.

Avoid VFM Auto Sales which will reinforce your fears about the unscrupulous behaviour of car salespeople. We bought cars from this dealer at various points. They agreed to buy one back which we no longer needed,& then when we came to drop it off tried to renege on the price, claiming the clutch was faulty. Separate mechanical examination has shown this to be untrue. The dealer rapidly became surly & aggressive when challenged- thoroughly unpleasant individual to deal with with scant regard for the truth. Avoid if you don't want to be ripped off.

I bought a used car from VFM Auto Sales a year ago and it broke down with in a couple of months, they not interested in any way in repairing so took to local garage, they couldnt believe the condition and said it was basically a death trap, how it passed MOT beyond belief. Had to scrap and move on.

After selling me an '02 Zafira that broke down after a week, VFM begrudgingly took my car back under warranty and kept it for four weeks, claiming that they were changin the gear box during that time. Exactly the same problems have since persisted despite this work allegedly being carried out. Two years down the road and the car has been on the back of a tow truck multiple times, and despite chasing VFM on several occasions, it's been two years and they still cannot provide any paper work to prove the repairs that were undertaken. The owner,lied on several occasions about their records not being computerised, and told me I'd have to wait six weeks for the person that deals with their records to come back from their holiday before I would get an answer. Two years and several calls to the recovery truck later, and he has yet to provide any evidence that the gear box was changed. Despite not having any customer records to hand, was however able to access to the Internet long enough to look up how many miles we'd covered since buying the car, and his response is now that due to the price we paid and miles we've covered, we should be happy with what we've got out of it and as such, we can whistle for any further assistance...including paperwork owed to prove the work they told us they'd carried out.

Couldn't of been nicer when i was buying the car. Once purchased had problems and they was so unhelpful. Wouldnt use again!!

VFM Auto Sales charge well above the going rate for their cars and then have little interest if you return with any problems.

The manager at VFM Auto Sales was ignorant, rude,.i paid £200 deposit on a car. Was told the car would be ready Saturday morning and would look beautiful. No dents,scratches, told the manager I was not satisfied with the condition it was in. The grill has been hit and not replaced properly.front wing on passenger side was loose,.all the Colour on the boot door was peeling of. I was told this on the phone previously by Simon. But he said only round by the lock. It was by far not in a beautiful condition. I asked for my deposit back but was told I was,nt gonna get it because it stated on my receipt not returnable. If one is told something is going to look good Then itshould. The manager was VERY RUDE. I am a oap but would rather give my money to charity. AVOID AVOID
