Seen a car I wanted to purchase popped in to view decided to buy the car on Wed I asked if It would be ready to collect sat he made sure it was full service mot everything. Lovely added touch of a teddybear strapped into passenger seat. I can't find one fault with this garage or their customer service I will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

I bought car for cash from this garage and I had a problem with the tyre pressure sensor not resetting they were not interested in helping me even though I had a 12 month warranty all they were interested in was £120 plus vat to try and rectifying the problem Looks like once they have your money they are not interested in fixing anything that might go wrong I thought they were very rude and unprofessional
Absolutely fantastic service from finding the car I wanted to driving it away. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Simply the best.

I'VE HAD THREE NEW CARS AND THREE USED ONES FROM VIC YOUNGS AND I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY ONE OF THEM. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN WELL PRESENTED ON COLLECTION A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH ONE VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER.
Went in for my annual MOT & Service, the girl on reception desk was very helpful (Her initials are EC ) I was told everything about what was going to happen. I will always take my MG6 to Vic Young for all my parts,mot's & service

Be careful with this crowd! I am a second buyer with Vic Young having received my 2nd WAV through Motability. The condition of the vehicle was not good when i received it, front registration plate hanging off, back and front plate not screwed on, corners cut out the plates which makes them look stupid, pools of oil on the engine and an injector leaking with fault light on which they claimed they new nothing about yet Ford stated the age of the fault in memory went before i received the vehicle. They claim to give £40 fuel yet when i got the vehicle it was just outside the red on the fuel gauge, there is no way this vehicle used that amount of fuel just from South Shields! I then get a leaflet through the door from them, £750 cashback when you take a "new" motability vehicle from them, a bit of a kick for people who go to them for a nearly new who get offered nothing so all in all, no compensation for what people go through when things go wrong, no free fuel and no cashback, and adaptions that should have been done and included in Advance Payment havent been done so now left with a WAV incomplete, no thanks, you just lost a customer

Avoid buying from this garage at all costs! I’ve had an awful experience with them, and had to fight tooth and nail to get my money back for an unfit car, which I was gladly sold by them. I had the car for less than a day when I noticed the issues, every time you pulled off from stationary, the car would make a screeching noise. I told them about it, and they said to take it to my local garage as I live so far away from theirs. I took it to my local Citroen dealership, who did an investigation into the car, to find the noise was coming from clutch and needed to be fully replaced! Also one of the rear lights needed fully replacing as it had been cracked with a piece of plastic missing (that alone costs £320) leaving it open to the elements except for a single piece of cellotape that they had just put some on it and hoped that I wouldn’t notice. When Citroen told Vic Young what needed fixing, Vic Young told me the garage was lying, and that they had done there own checks on the car before selling to me and there was nothing wrong with clutch, and tried to blame Citroen for trying to make a quick buck by extorting them. They did offer me a full refund, as they refused to pay Citroen prices to fix the car and I live nearly 5 hours away from them! I think this was only because I was within the two week notice period due to buying solely online due to COVID. However it took me over a month to actually get my money back from the company, and they made so many mistakes even though I was dealing with manager when I was trying to arrange pick up of the car it was ridiculous, they actually turned around there driver on the first day we arranged for pick up, because they hadn’t realised that they didn’t have my correct details on file for the refund to actually be processed! Even though I had spoken to them for over a week to make sure everything was in place! I have now got my money back as of today, and I would never go anywhere near this garage again, and I advise nobody else to fall for there lies and deceit! They also made me feel like there were doing me a favour for changing work brake discs that appeared as an advisory on there nee MOT, if you ask me advisories should be fixed as standard, and not just because the customer picked it up, by checking the new MOT online, and questioned it! Sales man was Jack Morgan, Manager I dealt with was Darren Hannah, neither were helpful, once they had my money. The only competent member of staff, who seemed to actually care about the customer was Kathryn Young, who took over my case in the end. If you find this review too late, and are having problems, I advise to go straight to her! After practically being told by Darren that I was over reacting on the phone, I wish I had been dealing with her earlier! Darren treated me like I was being difficult and over reacting for wanting to return an unfit car, and wanting my full £9,000 back. His customer service is definitely lacking if not completely non existent. In conclusion, just don’t buy from them at all, steer well clear if I was you, or you will literally be steering yourself into a financial hole, which unlike me, you might not be lucky enough to escape.
