I bought the Volvo S60 in July 2017 from Victoria Trade Centre, during the inspection, the dealer praised the car, didn't give a drive test saying that don't have proper insurance. He was driving, was no noises. After the payment while I arranged tax via phone, he wrote on the receipt that "sold for scrap" while I didn't looked. Deceiver. After short time started issues with the car: intercooler gone, oil leakage, power steering... Don't buy from this car dealer. Lost a lot of money to repair and sold as there was no end for maintenance

Bought a Renault Grand Scenic 7 seater end of July 2017. Immediately noticed the wind screen wipers weren't actually stuck on properly. Keeps falling off. How did that pass MOT - Dodgy. 5.5 months after purchase clutch failed, husband stranded 9 miles from home after a long day of work - GOOD thing it wasn't when me or my kids (7 years, 5 years, 2 years and 6 months) were in it! As it's within 6 months VTC must repair, replace or refund. No replies. Legal letter sent. Now my son won't be able to go anywhere on his birthday tomorrow. We've missed developmental checks for our 2 year old. And my husband is having trouble getting to work 20 miles away (we will seek damages for monies lost if no immediate contact is made).
Only called to enquire hung up told me to ring at 9 when I rung at 8.30. Said if looked the opening times are from 9am call back then and hung up. Bad customer service especially when the website says appointment only with no times at all! Don't think I will bother calling back now out of principal and now he's lost a possible sale.

My family and I have actually purchased three cars from Victoria Trade Centre Manchester over the last two years. The first was a BMW X5. After owning the car for just over a week I found that The cars battery was faulty and needed replacing at a cost of £110.00. I live in Cornwall so I called the Garage which is in Manchester in the hope of going halfs on a new battery. The owner Joseph transferred the full amount of £110.00 into my bank with in the hour, and was friendly and apologetic on the telephone. The car is still in excellent order and I have had no other problems since the new battery issue. My son and best friend have since purchased from them and are also very pleased with the cars. I found the cars this dealer sells very cheap (hence travelling from Cornwall to Manchester) Straight and friendly people. RECOMMENDED DEALER.

This review looks very fishy, notice a similar spelling mistake on 'halfs' as one of the replies on the negative review, and it seems to seek to undo the same issue that negative review is dealing with.
Hi, I bought a discovery 3 in October 2015. The car was at a great price so I was a bit wary so I took a good friend to take a look over the car. The car had done 120,000 miles and my friend said it was in great condition and mechanically sound, I purchased the Jeep and have had no trouble with it what so ever, in fact i went back to the lads & got my neighbour to buy a car of them, as the same they have had no trouble what so ever ! the service was great so was the price but most of all the lads are really helpful, would definitely recommend Victoria Trade Centre.
I brought a Mini from Victoria Trade Centre last year, apparently it had been checked by a mechanic and was in working order. However the handbreak was stuck on, the exhaust fell off on the way back and two wheel bearings and a suspension mount needed replacing. It wasn't safe to drive back to Manchester and I had to take it somewhere closer. When I questioned the garage owner they were extremely aggressive. I do not recommend this place.

This customer is the most arrogant ill mannered person that I have ever come across in my 35 years of selling cars. There was nothing wrong with the Mini he bought from me two years ago He decided that he wanted new brake discs and pads once he drove the car 150 miles home I offered to go halts with him ( even though the car had only just passed a mot the week before I purchased it ) He divined my offer,so out of good faith I offers him a full refund or exchange to which he also declined. It soon became very clear to us that he was just trying to extort Money from my company to make the car even cheaper that it was at the time of sale. People like this should not be allowed to slander good companies online just because they were try their hand at getting Money for nothing.

I'm very surprised reading this. Sorry if I've ever come across as arrogant and ill mannered, I'm Just very shocked as how this was dealt with, I'm normally very personable and easy going! Whenever I've had an issue with a product or second hand car before the seller has been apologetic and helpful, not threatening and aggressive on the phone, no apology, no real offer of help. To my memory there was no offer to go halves with me as stated above, it was not 150 miles but 50 and issues where probably all because the car hadn't been driven for a while, the handbrake cables don't just become seized whilst driving on the motorway! The offer for help was that we paid to put the car on a transporter back to Manchester so they could 'have a look'. It also was not only a week after passing it's MOT. The bottom line they offered to us was to either pay for the transporter and let them have a look, or take them to court. He said they had been threatened with court action before and always come out of top. I'm not someone who likes conflict and didn't feel comfortable seeing them again after their aggressive manner so we ended up £800 out of pocket. It would still be far nicer to come here and read the garage accepting their mistake and apologising, these things do happen, rather than publically insulting me. The saga continues.
Bought second hand Land Rover discovery from this car garage. Great car, low price, excellent helpful service. No problems, hassle free, it was a pleasure to deal with Victoria Trade Centre.
I purchased a great car at a cheap price from Victoria Trade Centre, I personally recommended this car dealer. I would 100% use them again.
The whole experience was excellent, zero problems, zero hassle, I couldn't of asked for a more stress free transaction. I was very impressed.
