Car from VIP Car Sales as described was fine no issues

I bought a car in oct 2015 from Richard for £10000 - 2 days later engine management light came on. Would not give me a refund. I took the car back 14 times and at one point left it there for 4 n a half months whilst waiting for parts to arrive from Germany. He said he would give me a 2yr warranty in Feb this year and I'm still dealing with the engine management light on and no where to turn to... I knew that he sold me a faulty car but he was just not taking responsibility. Really disappointed.

Biggest load of blag artists I have ever met, if it wasn't for the fact we turned up & took the car we'd left a £4000 deposit on the week before, based on all the reviews here, I still wouldn't have the car today, VIP Car Sales are chancers, liars & opportunists & still owe me £2500 for work I've had to have done on "my approved used car" that I've only done 2500 miles in since Nov 16. Buyers beware, most of those cars were maintained in that big shed at the back of the forecourt!

I bought a car from VIP Car sales in September 2016, but took it back several times after experiencing a fault. I eventually left it there so they could fix it; they even promised a replacement engine. I SORN'd it because I knew it was going to take a while; hey, why pay road tax? I stopped the insurance, too; hey, what's the point? They lent me a courtesy car, that's why. Oh, btw, I learnt that after paying Gleave for six month's worth of road tax, he pocketed the money and I was driving around without tax and thus obviously not insured. TAX FRAUD! After SIX months of being given the runaround, I learnt that Gleave was arrested. Both the police and liquidators confirmed that my car was NOT on site when they seized all vehicles. Remember that I SORN'd it? Well, I recently learnt that someone had taxed it a few weeks ago! Someone, somewhere, has my car. Gleave had obviously sold it without my permission.

I gave vip car sales my Jaguar to sell on behalf of me. 7 weeks in always get people looking but not finalised yet. Promised a phone call regarding a deposit put on my car. But no one called. This morning Richard and office number are not working. Website down!!!!! Reported to police. The. I came to this site and read all the below. Awful. Anyone can help me where about or how about I can get this sorted. Can I call in someone who is dealing with it.

Came very close to losing a lot of cash/an expensive car after entering into an agreement with VIP Car Sales.

Richard was selling a car for me, kept fobbing me off and lying to me as to where the sale was up to. The end result is he raised finance on the car without my knowledge and in the end sold it for £49,500 and I've not got my money. He's now out of business and been arrested. Can't believe this has happened and I've lost my car.

Richard sold my car last August and did not pay outstanding finance. Also owes me additional amount. Have tried phoning the supposed receivers but just get an answer phone and nobody phones you back.

The guy is just terrible. We bought a car in October 2015 a, Land Rover that has been from day 1 a big mistake. Had been to the garage at least 9 times for repairs that they certainly never did ( we paid an extra protection £2000 ) but still broke down in Spain while on holidays. Then brought it back a last time for repair and then he sold it and we never had the money!!!!!. He did us a favor to take this car away by selling it without any agreement. Admittedly, we have no more problems but no more car and no money!!! BUT still paying the finance.
