I bought an Audi Q3 from Greg and his team , and got a great car , although l had a couple of items that needed looking at nothing was too much trouble.

Got encouraged to leave a £100 refundable deposit to secure the vehicle. Vision Motors Direct then told me that car would be ready in 3 days as I mentioned to them I need a vehicle contacted them 3 days later to be told the car is still in prep after another several phone calls the car was ready 11 days later. So I went to view the car it was a blue Renault Megan. It had just passed it's M.O.T the car had a chunk out of the passenger side tyre and the engine was shaking that bad you could see the car moving. (Don't know how this car got an M.O.T) They also told me that the car had some age related marks this meant massive dents and scrapes along a full panel. The salesman did ask if I wanted to borrow a car and he would get the problems fixed but if the car was in preparation for 11 days and just passed it's M.O.T then these problems shouldn't of been there. So I decided no to go ahead and get my deposit back because I lost all confidence in them. they took my bank details and said it would be credited in my bank within 3-5 days 7 days later still not in my bank. I have had to ring citizens advice to help me get it back. They told me to ring them and explain to them because of long distance sales I am in titled to my deposit back. when I phone them they say I will get your salesman to ring you back but he never bothers to. Ask to speak to the manager and he's never on site. I have read very similar reviews about vision motors wish I read them before I left my deposit. BE WARNED.

Hi George. Thanks for taking your time to review us. Unfortunately the car had some age related marks when you arrived as described over the phone. The car was a genuine part exchange and only priced at £899. As for the time taken to prep it did take a bit longer than anticipated as the car needed an mot. All cars are mot'd at independent local garages and if there is any work needed again due to the age and mileage we always get this done. I spoke to you personally about your refund and explained that it would take 3 working days from the day it is done to show back in your account. I believe it is now back in your account. We wish you all the best on your search for another car and hope we can try and do buisness again in the future.

Hi just to reply to your message I did speak to you over the phone and I was told it would take 3 days for the money to go back into my bank. But I was told this on Saturday the 29th of June it is now Wednesday the 10th of July which makes it 12 days later and guess what the money is still not in my bank. Just some advice try and be honest with your customers. It seems that everyone that has had a bad experience it's always the customers fault and never the staff of vision motors.
Bought a 15 plate Vauxhall astra from Vision Motors Direct 5 days ago. When I arrived to collect the car i noticed the windscreen had a chip in it. As i had travelled 50 miles to collect the car i couldn't leave it to be fixed as needed to be able to get back home. I was told by Greg(office manager) to get it repaired and send him a receipt to which he would then transfer money to my account. Brilliant not a problem. During the sales process I believed I was getting a 12 month warranty with the AA, when I got home I called the AA to activate my warranty and road side recovery. Was told by AA that I needed a warranty number from the garage to activate my warranty. After looking through the papers I was given I noticed there was no mention of the warranty number. I called the garage back and was told by Dave(salesman) thought Greg would have to speak to the AA to get this code as they had only started using them. He re assured me I would get the number in the afternoon or worse case the following day. Greg never did call back(something that happens a lot) so I called the following morning respoke with Dave who then told me I must of misunderstood as the AA dont offer a 12 month warranty, and that there 12 month warranty was with a company called momentum warranties and it would cost £299 for 12 months! "But well worth it as there the best in the uk" I was told. I took the offer and paid over the phone. Afterwards I went out in the car and an engine management light came on. I followed the instructions of the warranty company and started asking garages if they were Vat registered, what there labour charges are(as they only cover £60) all garages I spoke to would not do the work if I was using that warranty company as they had all had bad dealings with them. I spoke to Vision motors saying the car was no good, the warranty was no good and as I'd only had it 2 days I would be bringing it back. At this point Greg came on the phone. Told me he would refund the £299 paid to the warranty company and would cover the cost to get the car fix. So I decided that was fair and went to the garage saying the knowledge I wouldn't be out of pocket. That was 3 days ago! Despite me calling them back approx 15 times and send 3 emails. Greg always seems to be in a meeting and not able to return my calls once finished. So obviously I'm now out of pocket for windscreen and engine light. I would highly recommend that nobody buys anything from this garage or any other garage he may end up at Trading standards have been contacted. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.

Thanks for reviewing us. I have spoke with you over the phone regards this matter previous to your review. We explained that your car comes with 12 months breakdown and 3 months warranty. As you said you must have miss heard and assumed 12 months warranty which is also written down on the back of your order form. I have also spoke to you and processed a refund for the warranty you bought as your local garage did not use momentum which is not a fault of ours. If you have called 15 times whilst i was in a meeting then appologies1. As stated at point of sale there was a small chip in the windscreen which was not picked up on mot, or pre check so the same stands, if a local windscreen repair company is to fix then we will pay for this. Unfortunately the credit card company or the bank can't find these refunds. I've spoken with Gary in the office who informs me nothing has been refunded(despite you saying otherwise) he also says one of you shall call me tomorrow to refund the money directly onto my card??? Once upon a time we Bought a car up north. As we are a growing family we thought we would get a second family car so we worked hard and saved up, my wife had her eye on a grand C4 picasso. Then we came upon vision motors LTD. As Matt Alright (Watchdog) would say. Not to be confused with any other traders with a similar name and there are alot. Ok Lets begin Vision Motors had the car in the spec we wanted so we got them to send us some pictures as they were not in the listing at the time, we were advised by wendy the car is in excellect condition. The pictures sent looked great so we arranged to view the car and left a £200 holding deposit, then the problems started we were told car was off for wheel refurb and would be ready Wednesday called Tuesday to confirm ready as me and the wife both taking a day off work and traveling over 100 miles to get there for nothing seemed pointless, wendy didnt know if would be ready weds ok what about thursday err dont know ok Friday maybe ?? ok about Saturday yes sould be ready for saturday ok cool. So i called saturday morning before leaving and yes it was ready we arrived at vision motors via sat nav then had to drive through a car wash to get there?. Then no where to park. We waited around for about a hour we finally got the keys to look around the car this was in good condition externally and internally except for the main 12” panoramic HD dash display this was smashed, (after getting home we discovered car was not even roadworthy as screen smashed right where the mph is displayed and obstructs speed visabilty.) This was conveniently cropped from pictures that we were sent, and no mention during phone calls ok after speaking with Greg ( the boss man) we were reasured this would be repaired, so we aggread with greg in writing (well letter headed email) at point of sale he would arrange to send us a replacement screen he said this was already on order and would be with him Tuesday to which he would then forward to us direct via recorded post plus we could have fitted at local dealer and they would cover the costs ok great so we bought the car on this basis. Now over three weeks later and a lot of phone calls all i get is greg and wendy are busy so they take all your details then say we will call you back but Mmm no call back and i mean not once have they called back, but then everytime i call back to complain they act out no recollection of previous calls yeah right, not once have they ever called back. Funny thing is on the last call i said your company is taking the p*** and the guy on phone was offended and said he would cancel the call ?? hold up ive been promised a replacement screen oh by the way to replace and have fitted would be at least a thousand pounds on a car i paid just over eleven thousand pounds for and your offended by the word p***. Vision Motors LTD Read The Consumer Rights Act 2015. And educate your staff on customer care skills as your lacking any after sales care, and contrary to your company title suggests you have absolutely no vision. As Vision motors staff lack any integrity and cannot communicate like normal people, we are left with no choice but to take this further. One week from posting this review, and i will be sending you a formal letter outlying what's in this post. Mr Robert John Knowles will be expecting court papers

i went down to the haydock branch to view a ford focus c max and test drove which seemed to drive pretty good apart from the damp in car from the valet which they did not let i dry out and boot would not open and was promised it would all get sorted despite all all this and the aggressive sales tactics (which kind of put me off wanting the car) i needed a vehicle and i put a cash deposit of £300 down on the car and was told it will be ready the following week so rang days prior to picking the vehicle up and was told a pick up time of 5 pm so drove down in horrendous traffic to get their and find out that the car had been crashed beyond repair in my eyes and they tried their hardest to tell me i was not and they would fix it but i intended to use it as a family car and will not put our lives at risk to line their pockets i asked for a refund and was told it would be in my account the following Friday even tho i payed cash which never happened so rang numerous times to be passed around the office like a bag of toffees with false promises of a refund and after over a month of money chasing and false promises i finally got refunded after speaking to manager who seemed to be conveniently busy till i stated i would no longer ring them and will be coming into office to sort it out and will be charging them for my time now i was not going to leave a review but now i have my deposit back i have continued my search for a vehicle and came across the very same vehicle with a £30 price drop so i would like to warn people of this company be very cautious when buying from these guys they will fill you with lies to sell you in my eyes dangerous vehicles the vehicles reg for said car is mj54wtk so if you want to be messed about lied to or buy a potentially dangerous car (in my opinion) these are your guys would give 0 stars if possible

Unfortunately on the day of handover the c max did get some slight damage which was not caused by us here a t Vision motors, a lady did reverse her car and catch the car on the corner over on the car park. We have apologised for any inconvenience caused. We have also had the car repaired properly as it was only superficial damage. As for the deposit refund the manager was away on holiday at the time of you calling and I believe a full refund of your deposit was given back the very same day you spoke for the first time.
