Over the years i have bought a few cars off Vista Value cars, I have always been satisfied with the cars, George and Collin have gone out of their way to make sure everything is 100% i had a small problem with the car i have just bought, called in to see Collin and he sorted it out straight away, i would recommend Vista Value Cars to anyone very easy to talk to no problem and make you feel at ease.

My experience of vista value cars was terrible we ended up going to court on the 28th of June 2021 over a car they sold me as they refused me a refund on a car that had faulty brakes 11 day after we collected it. I won the court case and the Judge ordered Mr Keogh to give me my money back and pay my costs with interest. St Helens trading standards have removed vista value cars from the trading standards register for terrible customer service. When Colin and George came to collect the car it caught fire as the alternator had seized and they claim it drove with no problems.
Brilliant service; extremely helpful people. Explained everything thoroughly and a great help in choosing the right car. Great after-sales service too.

I Bought a car from Vista Value Cars for my son to get to and from University. We took the car for a test drive and found it had a brake problem and a dead battery so Mr Keogh said he would put it through an mot and fix what needed to be fixed so we agreed to the sale . Mr Keogh contacted me to say the car was ready and had a clean mot with no advisories yet 11 days after collecting the car the brakes failed and the battery was dead. I contacted Mr Keogh who offered to show me the back brakes had been fixed and a new battery had been fitted but the problem was with the front brakes. I was not happy and asked for a full refund stating the consumer rights act 2015 but Mr Keogh was not interested in my request. I had the car inspected by two independent mechanics who confirmed 11 advisories and 2 fails on a car with a clean mot arranged by Vista value cars. Because Mr Keogh ignored my request for a refund and offered no customer service I warned him I would take legal action to recover my money but he was not interested. We ended up going to court on 28th June 2021 and I won Mr Keogh was ordered to give me my money back plus costs and interest. Would I recommend vista value cars NO.

colin evans from Vista Value Cars in response to Not a pleasant experience
in response to your disingenuous review , we sold you a ford ka 2010 in july 2020 which was for your son , we put the car in for an mot at and independent garage were they fitted new tyres new rear brakes and a new battery for the mot , you asked us to store the car for a month while your son was waiting for a driving test , this we did for you , you picked the car up and drove 8 miles to your house without any problems from the brakes or battery , we then heard rom you 2 weeks later (a total of 6 weeks from buying the car ) saying you were not happy because the battery had gone flat and the brake was sticking and you did not think the battery was a new one , or the brakes were new , we offered you on 3 occasions the opportunity to bring the car back to the workshop so you could see these jobs were done , this you ignored , you sent us 2 reports from 2 mechanics in access of 4 months from the original mot , these reports were carried out outside a house , any qualified mot tester would find this impossible to do without a ramp or proper equipment , the cost of these so called reports were one at £20 and one at £35 , we went to court with you and refunded your money , , we asked you to contact us telling us were we could collect the car from , after 2 weeks we tried to call you on 5 occasions with no answer , you emailed us to tell us the car was outside an address on a car park , ( very inconsiderate , and unreasonable ) the car was driven back 8 miles to vista value cars by a fully trained mot tester and mechanic , who said that the brakes performed as they should , we put the car in for a new mot and are told that all it needs is a new rear exhaust at a cost of £60 , the battery has been recharged and checked and is fine , the brakes have been checked properly on a rolling road and are fine , the only true statement in your review , of which i am in complete agreement is that it has been a very unpleasant experience , but luckily Mr barber its only once in a blue moon we come across a customer like you .
Bought a car off vista value cars in October last year, took it for an MOT today only to be told that the rear subframe has completely corroded which would have been visible on the MOT from last year which they had organised. Rang them today to explain what had happened and was very disappointed with the service I received over the phone, much different than when we were exchanging money and buying the car off them. I’m now having to find £1600 to fix a problem that the car was sold with. If I were you I’d avoid them and use a reputable dealer as we are now having to go down the trading standards route.
George Keogh from Vista Value Cars in response to Awful
I am sorry to hear of your negative opinion of vista value cars , but I must point out that it is a very unfair review , considering you have had the car 12 months with no problems what so ever in that time , we sold you the car with a 12 months mot , and at that time the car passed with no advisories , as it did the year before , the reason for having an m o t test every year is so that the degree of wear and tear can be checked , also for any mot tester or mechanic to speculate on the degree of wear and tear 12 month prior is irresponsible if not impossible , and to expect any used car company or mot tester to predict the amount of wear and tear 12 months into the future is also unreasonable , a very important thing to also point out is that the car you bought from us is now 12 years old , it is very naive of you as a used car buyer not to expect to maintain a 12 year old car , sincerely G keogh MD

Your welcome
Bought a ford galaxy where do I start, coolant leak, abs sensors, boot leaking,1 seat wobbly, rear window would not work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
One star is too good a rating for this shambles of a company. Vista Value Cars took over a month to fix our faulty when bought car and it still came back with all of the faults that they were supposed to fix. Appalling customer service with a couldn't care less attitude. Avoid this company at all costs.
George Keogh from Vista Value Cars in response to Avoid
