Recently bought a car from Wearside Autoparcs in Sunderland and had it delivered to York. I dealt with Umar from initial questions about the car, to the delivery and after service. Nothing was too much trouble, I couldn’t fault the service and an issue with the car could not have been dealt with better. They made the calls, paid as promised and followed up to check everything was ok afterwards. Buying a car that you have only scene on a website, is quite scary, but I would not hesitate to recommend buying from here, they were brilliant and I love my car!

Wearside Autoparc website said open until 6.00pm on Monday. NOTHNG about being closed on Easter Monday! (Other car dealerships are open.) Waste of time! Very disappointing! Made a specific journey too!
I recently had the displeasure of dealing with Wearside Autoparc, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of appalling. After purchasing a vehicle from them, I encountered numerous issues, including a faulty wheel bearing. Despite promises of a refund for the necessary repairs, Wearside Autoparc failed to fulfill their obligations. But it gets worse. It has now come to light that the MOT documentation provided with the vehicle was falsified. Shockingly, critical advisories and failures were omitted or misrepresented. Issues concerning suspension, brake pipes, and wheel bearings were conveniently left out. It's clear that Wearside Autoparc's advertising of providing vehicles with a 12-month MOT sans advisories is nothing but a sham. This deceitful practice is not only misleading but also illegal. I demand a refund for the repairs needed to rectify these falsified issues. Failure to comply will result in legal action. Save yourself the headache and avoid Wearside Autoparc at all costs. Their dishonesty and lack of integrity are truly despicable. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update - I feel compelled to provide an urgent update regarding my harrowing experience with Wearside Autoparc. Despite my best efforts to rectify the situation amicably, their deplorable conduct continues unabated. This deceitful and underhanded company initially requested a report from me, which I promptly provided. However, upon receiving the report, they resorted to unlawful tactics by attempting to coerce the garage into providing them with the invoice meant for me. Shockingly, they even stooped so low as to abuse the garage staff for rightfully upholding the Data Protection Act. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the matter, Wearside Autoparc has shamelessly refused to take responsibility for supplying me with a dangerously unfit vehicle, complete with a falsified MOT. This is my final warning to them: refund the amount owed for the repairs required to make the vehicle safe, or face legal repercussions. To the public: beware of Wearside Autoparc's treacherous practices. I will continue to update this review to ensure transparency regarding their treatment of customers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In reply to the comment left by Wearside autoparc. They gave authorisation for a wheel bearing to be replaced which then needed extra work because the MOT was falsified. it needed rear suspension and brake pipes on the back of the vehicle. which were on the last 3 MOT advisories yet their garage missed them. The brakes pipes were so badly split they were dangerous. The garage doing the wheel bearing has taken photos of this. The car had a fresh MOT 5 days before. Wearside autoparc did not ask for a invoice they wanted a report which I provided. yet now they are saying its not their problem because it is a 3rd party garage. Well a little shock to you, you provided the car and sourced the MOT so you are liable. They only reason the car was provided with an advisory free MOT is because it was falsified by the garage they have a deal with. Why would I simply return the vehicle to you when I have just spent £1200 on it. Please see attached images of the email from wearside where no invoice was asked for and the list of

I am just writing to warn people what to expect if you buy a car and have issues within 30 days. I bought a vehicle for 7k, which was said to have been serviced etc before purchase. The car had several warning lights come up in the first two weeks and then went into limp mode due to "low oil pressure" and "engine malfunction". I had the car towed to an VAT registered independent. The garage said that to identify the actual faults would be a relatively big job based on their experience of the make and model. Wearside Autoparc would not accept liability and tried to pass it onto warranty. The independent garage knew that Blackstar Warranties would not cover many of the things that were needed to accurately diagnose the fault. After a long back and forth between Wearside Autoparc and myself, where they wanted my car to be taken to some garage next to their yard, which has little online presence and looks like a shed in someone's back yard, I outright rejected the car under the Consumer Protection Act 2015 "unsatisfactory quality" clause. A 7000 quid car should not have broken down in 3 weeks. I sent a rejection letter and they did not respond. A few days after I sent a letter before action, which they now have, a company called Legal Solution 4 U (a dodgy motor legal advice firm that is a dissolved company, with no actual solicitors working for them) sent me an email saying that the car if fine and I need to pick it up or they will drop it off. When I rejected the car I stated that I refused any fixes as I rejected the car. They say they attempted to fix the car, which is against the legislation. I saw they sent an email to a wrong email address in response to my original rejection letter (they couldn't even make sure they got my email correct) stating some misinformed reading of the CPA2015. They currently need to respond to my letter before action, which if they do not respond I will be taking them to county court. Just think very carefully when purchasing a car and get a mobile mechanic to check the vehicle you purchase from Wearside Autoparc, as you don't want to end up having to go through all this.

Kim Acton in response to Terrible experience. Be very careful!
Hi Guy j I'm just wanting to know how far have u got with your report as I've been sold a car from them a week ago and within 5days it's broken down my merchanic has stated its not fit to drive and I'm fighting for a full refund to be paid back to me. There were shirty with me on the phone stating yesterday I'd be hearing from there solicitors as I've reported to trading standards. I was just wanting to know have you resolved your matter and could u point me in the right direction who I'm I to complain to kind regards K
I collected the car from Autopark and, although the car had apparently been serviced there were obvious problems with the car from the outset and the service book provided with the car had no record of a service being carried out. The parcel shelf was missing. I got in the car, and discovered the windows didn't work, all of the windows were stuck shut. The entertainment system was frozen too, no radio, and no Bluetooth. One Autopark staff member directed me to the phone number for the warranty company and told me it was between the warranty company and myself to sort out any issues with the car. Another salesman agreed as I'd had the car less than a day that they should sort out the problems. I was loaned a courtesy car while the windows were sorted out and a replacement parcel shelf was provided. The entertainment system began working sporadically over the first few days then after a while it was fully functional. After a few weeks the ignition key fell apart and the spare key wasn't working. The ignition key was replaced and the spare key required a new battery. I also found out the 1 year breakdown cover, really doesn't cover much at all. I had to pay to have diagnostics done, present the results to BlackStar (warranty company) who then refused to cover the work that needed doing. I later discovered the air conditioning system wasn't working. This was detected before the end of my 6 month warranty so Autoparc had it fixed. Now the wipers won't shut off and I have to take time off work and book the car into a garage to have it fixed. I would highly recommend anyone buying from Autoparc to have it checked carefully and do not trust that a service was carried out. I also think an extended warranty might be wise.

Bought a Kia Optima in February and all was great , until July when it started losing power at round abouts and junctions so took it to Kwikfit for a proper service. Wearside autoparc claimed to have given it an MOT and a service. This was either a blatant lie or a poor MOT and service ( I'll let you decide). When Kwikfit did the service they found that the front brake discs were 300mm diameter not the 320mm diameter the car requires so as the brake pads wear down at some point the car will not stop as the pads will press against each other and not the discs so car won't stop . Next issue to be found was that the rear brakes are disc and a drum parking brake which is fair enough except the rear assembly plate had corroded and one of the pins that hold the brake shoes in had come free , so instead of replacing the backplates they put a bolt in to hold the shoe in with a large washer so it didn't come back through the rust hole ! When I went back to them about the problems with the car I was just backheeled to blackstar warranties, the sales manager couldn't have given a flying fook about the issues his car dealership had sold a car with as " he hasn't got time for this !" . Car has now been at a garage 20 miles away for 3 weeks now . Service is terrible. BE VERY WARY WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AND WARRANTY COMPANY, ALL SEEMS GREAT UNTIL YOU HAVE A PROBLEM !!!!!
First time l’ve bought a vehicle over the internet. Kevin couldn’t have been more helpful from start to finish. It was delivered by their driver around 9am on the agreed date. The car is in excellent condition, fully serviced, new brakes and tyres and with 12 months MoT. It is a pleasure to drive and l’m more than happy with the service l received.

From my initial phone call with Joe, to the handing over of my new car, everything was spot-on. Iv'e bought many cars over the years and dealt with loads of dealers, some good, some not so good. The proffeseional, courteous and knowledable way in which I was treated from start to finish was exemplary. The gentleman who delivered my car was Mick, a really freindly person who showed me around the car, going through everything with me, including all the paperwork etc. I needed the car delivering to me as I live in North Wales, MILES away from Sunderland ! Joe said it would be no problem [ He obviously hadn't realised just how far away I lived ! ]. He phoned me back and confirmed just that ! He asked if I would be prepared to split the difference with him, which of course out of all fairness, I did. The car was immaculate when it arrived, I was [and still am, made up with the car. Would I recommend buying a car from these people ? ABSOLUTELY, IN A HEARTBEAT ! Hope this review helps anyone considering buying a car from Wearside autopark. Thanks again guy's !
