Bought a motorhome of these guys in octber 2021.it was inside hooked up looked really tidy under the lights with the awning out. When i got home noticed it had been crashed on the side near the back and repaired to a poor standard which was hidden under the awning in the showroom. When i asked about it they said they dont know anything about the history.Parked it up in lockup till the weather started warming up.first bank holiday whent out in it nothing worked in it once taken off the hookup. Had to replace the leasure batteries which we hadn't even used yet at my own expence as they refused to pay for them. Even then nothing worked,no hot water no shower no fridge or freeze. Spoke to them and they said it was under warranty but none of the garages near me.would touch it. They said it needed to go back to them which all in all would put me back about a £1000 to get it to them time of work and lifts to and from. They refused to pay anything towards these cost. Last time we.went out in it we went for a walk and upon returning to the motorhome some local people where shouting to us that the fire alarm was sounding when we got in the van no fire it was carbon monoxide alarm. Started choking and eyes streaming. Turned off the gas and opened all windows. This is only the third time we have used it and they done.the habitation check or so they say. Every time we have been out in it something else wrong and the warranty they give isnt worth the paper its written on. WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO EVER BUY FROM THEM. And looking at the reviews now on here can see alot of people having same experience with these thieves. BE CAREFUL OF THESE PEOPLE THEY SPEAK LIKE BUTTER WOULDNT MELT BUT ARE PROPPER FRAUDSTERS.

bought a van from here, it went back to their workshop for repair I emptied the van of personal stuff but left a family heirloom on the keyring it was soldered on so couldn't fall off. It went missing! and no one knows anything and they don't seem to care. I will not be trading there again...

We are a trust worthy company, customers have left their Motorhome on our premises and this is the first time in over 30 years that someone has made a accusation against us. From what appeared to be a helpful family run business soon turned out to be a ruthless operation. BUYERS BEWARE whatever problems or valid reasons you have with this dealership you won’t get any money back even if your problems are COVID-19 related. We were unable to proceed with a purchase of any vehicle. Only part with any monetary deposit if you are 1000% certain you are in a position to complete your transaction.

For example we did extend your credit voucher for 11 months as a gesture of goodwill. The deposit is non-refundable which is clearly printed on your invoice and you were also verbally informed and you have signed to that effect. Wellsbridge Motorhomes was willing for you to purchase another Motorhome within the 11 months. On our website there was numerous Motorhomes you could have purchased within your price range using your deposit. You did not make a decision. We cannot as a business be held responsible for the impact of Covid-19. Wellsbridge Motorhomes feel your review is very unfair and we have gone to considerable lengths to help you. I tried to book a service with Wellsbridge Motorhome Sales, it appears they only interested in their own sales. Shame I may have traded in my camper for a new one.......not now...bye Wellbridge
I was very disappointed with a recent experience with Wellsbridge Motorhome Sales. I travelled 80 miles to visit their stock. Having found a motorhome which, on the face of it, was just what I was looking for, there then followed a worrying trail of errors and dishonesty. Firstly be wary that their warranty is only one year (others are sometimes three) and unlike others it does not cover water ingress. I queried this as a concern on my first visit. I was given reassurances that there were no issues. However, on coming home and thinking about it I decided on a second more thorough visit. I rang two days in advance to tell them I was coming back to test drive, check habitation equipment and view their FSH. On arriving for such I was confronted with a vehicle far from ready to view. Both batteries were dead so I was unable to check habitation. Conveniently they had their own engineer taking damp readings - all of which subsequently read between 8 and 12 - very low!? The engine battery was on charge and they managed to start the vehicle for my test drive asking me to keep revs high. Checking FSH it was purely stamps in a book with no detail of works or size of service. As a 7 year old vehicle it should have had cam belt and water pump change, oil and coolant also. They eventually agreed to do this work but it felt like they were doing me a favour rather than carrying out work you'd expect from such a purchase - I wonder if they will do the work if a more vulnerable customer comes along and doesn't ask!? Test drive was also 'disturbed' by constant bleeping as the electric step was malfunctioning. I returned home slightly disappointed but still interested and consoled by their offer to sort out the issues. After a couple of days thinking I put in an offer which was turned down - fine. 5 days later I increased my offer and we agreed on a price £500 below asking. However, I insisted on a damp test carried out by my independent engineer - as their warranty didn't cover damp. Thank heavens I did! The readings he got were up to 30 with two quite separate areas in the high 20s. I pulled out instantly even though it cost me £170 for the test. I wrote to their management about my grievance expecting an apology at least - but got a very dismissive 'case closed' reply as they had dealt with me appropriately! I beg to differ, be very careful!

My partner and I bought a 1991 Compass Calypso from Wellsbridge Motorhome Sales 4 years ago for £8000. Due to a an impending house move we have to change to a smaller model. We returned to Wellsbridge to look at a Nu Venture Surf. We both liked this model and enquired of the salesman who sold us the Compass how much he would allow us on a trade in. 'The only thing you can do with that', he said,, 'is to scrap it. We're not interested in old vehicles with that cab type'. We were surprised at his reaction especially as he had sold It to us 4 years earlier. To suggest that we should scrap a vehicle with 11 months MOT still to run seemed rather extreme to us as well as rude and dismissive. He could at least have said that they didn't take models that old any more. We were very disappointed, so started to leave. Then as we were leaving he told he could take it off our hands. We declined. It seems the concept of a valued customer is foreign to Wellsbridge Motorhomes. However this sad tale has a happy ending as we bought a Nu Venture Surf from Dragonville Leisure where we received £4000 on a trade in and excellent service.

I can only describe Wellsbridge Motorhome Sales as crooks. They misrepresented the condition of the vehicle at the point of sale and when caught out would not cancel the sale and refund the deposit. They then hang up on you when you ring them! Thank goodness for section 75 as the credit card agreed the unlawful sale.

As commented in another review, really interested in you as a Customer, but once you have bought your Motorhome Wellsbridge Motorhome Sales wash their hands of you. We had our Motorhome a week, the first weekend we went away the Kitchen Tap sprang a leak so we had to turn off the Pump and Drain the water. So we cut our weekend short and took it back to Wellsbridge. On arrival my Wife started to explain what had happened, Lance Senior (Salesman) asked if we had spoken to the workshop, my wife said no, with that the Salesman put his hands up and said “don’t tell me” That did not bode well with my Wife having not been able to shower that morning. But whenever we go there you are always asked what your name is, when you spent large amounts of money £30,000 plus you think they would care about there Customers. The sad thing is they have some nice Motorhomes, but I would not buy another from them!

We are due to pick our motor home from Wellsbridge Motorhome Sales up in a couple of weeks, after a 4 week wait, we were told we had to wait 4 weeks for the van to have its checks, mot etc, My husband rang this morning to see if it needed a cam belt, and the mechanic said over the phone it does not need one its every ten years, Just done some reading up on internet as we are sure its every 5 year or 60,000 mile, ( the van has done 53,000) we read on many sites that it is every 5 year/60,000 mile. or there abouts, we find the mechanic incompetent we are worried if the checks on the van will be correctly done, time will tell.
