Ollie was the first to respond to my car search through Carwow. From the beginning he was keen to establish by e-mail any need for more car information and/or a test drive. At the showroom he was courteous and keen for us to view the Tucson and he was there to answer our questions. He is very knowledgeable and gives clear answers. We wanted to see the colour options on actual cars and we toured the forecourt with great success. The test drive time was suggested at 30 minutes which is more than enough time. We spent time going through colour availability options and delivery dates and Ollie speedily got us the relevant information. There was no pressure to buy and we thought that the overall experience was excellent. All post purchase paper work was explained promptly and clearly. I have bought many new cars over the years and this was certainly one of the most enjoyable and left us feeling comfortable with our choice.. Well done Ollie and Wessex.

So went into Hyundai to have a look at what motability cars were available. We were greeted by Zoe who was amazing from start to finish. Made us feel welcome and very knowledgable on how everything works. The process was made so easy and so relaxed. 5 stars. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a new car then Hyundai Wessex garage Newport is a great place to start. .thankyou to Zoe and staff for all your help and we are now enjoying our new car.
Had car MOT'd and also charged me £140 to diagnose and repair a gearbox fault. The fault recurred immediately and the car was immobilized in my drive. I was unable to get it moved so a mobile mechanic repaired the seized box. He then found a cv boot had completely perished and leaked and was convinced it could not have passed an MOT. I spoke to Wessex Hyundai and they were not willing to do anything about it.
I was overwhelmed with the service I received when looking for a new vehicle
The exchange of our Fiat Panda Easy for another Fiat Panda Easy went well but we were not told by Wessex Garage Newport that the was no reversing warning system on the car we bought, If we had been told we would have one fitted also the carpets were not in the car., the petrol tank was almost empty which we had to fill at a cost Of almost £40. The final complaint is there was no second key which the seller Ross Staples said he would deliver to us at our home address, this he never did and after 5 phones he never got back to us. Is that the way you treat customers? This is the second time that we have had this happen to us . We suggest in future not to be acting this way to towards customers. G.Carlton
Disgusting customer service! Agreed a price on the phone, took the time to travel and even test drive the car only to be told that ‘actually’ they can’t match the price promised on the phone and that my ‘budget’ is my problem! Absolutely awful customer care, it seems they will do anything they can to get you to visit their forecourt and hope you buckle and pay the increased amount despite a lower price being assured. Avoid if you have half a brain!
