a big shout out to Ellese Benton you were amazing and very helpful in managing to get the car ready for our Holiday . You are a credit to the company with the way you had to deal with a very worried customer (me) and manged to sort things out it must be hard to be in the middle of the customer and the mechanics . a very big thank you

I would give kia westdrive zero stars if I could. We bought a kia sportage from them and within weeks it was apparent it wasn't performing as it should. It was vibrating and juddering between gears. We subsequently took the car in to be repaired and the clutch plates were replaced. Within weeks the same issue was happening again. Westdrive fobbed us off and said the wheels needed to be rotated. This wasn't the case. We had lost complete confidence in westdrive to correctly diagnose and correct the issue at this point. On both occasions they had the car in for repairs we were not offered a courtesy car, and were left inconvenienced. For this reason we initiated rejection of the car as it was within 6 months and we funded an independent inspection with ACE. This ruled in our favour and Westdrive finally accepted our rejection. Prior to this they even had the nerve to attempt to charge us £25 a day to keep the car on their premises which I outright rufesed. The customer service has been appalling throughout. We might be in a different situation if they had acted more reasonably. Ryan on services is actually quite reasonable, James Carrington the finance manager however is obnoxious, arrogant and treats customers with contempt. I took great pleasure in throwing our ACE report in his face. My advice? Do not buy a car from these charlatans. They sold us a dud and tried to skirt their responsibility. We've had no apology and I'm determined to tell everyone I can not to risk buying a car with these cowboys. Spread the word. I've already dettered one person from buying a car with westdrive, and will continue to do so. Check out the number of 1 and 2 star reviews on trust pilot.

Shocking treatment of a customer, purchased a BMW X5 which apparently has gone through all the pre checks, on collection there was a host of major issues which they committed to addressing by sending to BMW within 2 weeks to fix all issues and known faults. Misrepresentation of the car claiming a full BMW service record, which is simply incorrect. 3months on, countless emails and calls, being ignored constantly and even escalating via the finance company and now via the ombudsman. Avoid at all costs if you value your time. As bad as it gets in terms of service and customer experience. All this whilst I’m still driving a faulty car 3 months on!!

Fantastic service by Jason in Sales ream and After Sales team and Technicians, everyone has been very kind and checked and showed me how to use my car lights. I was very nervous going back to Kia after a bad experience with a new car 13 years ago but was so pleasantly surprised. Jason and the team were great and so helpful. Many thanks

Honestly the worst experience, I wish I never stepped foot in here. My car has been back over 9 times since January and they can’t find why the car is making noises. Then was fobbed off by Carrington the finance director saying “oh well old cars just make them noises” it’s 2018 plate… so if you buy a second hand car be prepared to be treated as a less important customer!! Ryan from the service team is the only decent person in there. The upper management clearly don’t give a crap!

In November last year we purchased from Westdrive, a Kia Sportage 1.6T GzDI ISG 3, 2022 model. We went to what we thought was a reputable company, for advice and guidance, as we had never owned a Sportage before. The salesman was very nice and friendly, but failed to provide us with some very important information about the car which would effect us. We were unaware of if you only make short journeys, which we informed them we did, you can have issues with the GPF (exhaust filter). Had it 3 months, done 600 miles since purchase, while diving an alarm went off to notify me to ‘keep driving to regenerate exhaust filter’. I did so, didn’t work, my husband took it out later for another run, didn’t work. Ended up having to drive all the way to Braintree for the car to have a forced regeneration carried out. Apparently this is a common occurrence I found out from the service department. It’s needs to go on longer drives to keep it clear. I’ve rejected the car saying it is not fit for purpose, as this is going to be an on going problem because of the low mileage I do, and the dealership did not inform us. Took our money, but now do not want to take the car back as they say there is no fault. Just read the Kia Owners Forum about this problem, and you will find a lot of unhappy Sportage owners out there with the same issue. You have been warned, avoid this place if you don’t want to be stressed out

We have brought 3 cars from Kia Braintree, we had an issue with the first purchase but the service team sorted the issue out professionally. Since then we have dealt with Luke in sales who has understood what we required and has worked diligently to find the best vehicle and package to match. We would highly recommend Luke to anyone has he has good knowledge of his vehicles and always offers a friendly and professional service.

Purchased a small Kia during covid for cash plus delivery , being pensioners we trusted the sales person P Gowers , with his sales banter , car looked Ok on photos, had a great review from Gowers but failed to inform us of the MOT work that needed doing before next MOT , tyres worn, needs underseal joint leaking, burning going up Devon hills, , he sent all documents apart from the MOT that was stuck in a back seat pocket that I found on delivery. 🤔 misrepresentation of the highest order, they did pay for new tyres and items on MOT advisories , but not the burning out clutch , send it back they said but if nothing found I need to pay transport cost £600 back to Devon , would you trust them , anyway the crap heap now gone , happy in my BMW X3 but sadly the memory lingers on . I give NO STARS

Looking at the reviews it appears many people have had a positive experience at Westdrive Kia in Braintree. We have had nothing but stress and disappointment from the start with our Kia Sportage 2L 2018 GT line S. Our vehicle has been back and forth more than ten times in two years for multiple steering and vibration issues which to this day have never been resolved, which was just one of many mechanical and electrical problems I have experienced with this car, not to mention the terrible service and support received from every department I had the misfortune to deal with at Westdrive Kia. If I could give less than one star I would!! I also believe Kia cars are good value for money and that our extremely negative experience with our car’s reliability was possibly an isolated case, however the continued lack of customer service and knowledge from all departments at Kia westdrive was unforgivable. I would buy another Kia car in the future but I will never step foot in Westdrive Kia Braintree ever again.

Firstly we was greeted by a friendly sales Executive Paul Gowers. His knowledge and understanding of our requirements was second to none. He helped us along the way and nothing was too much trouble in finding the right car. He let us test drive 3-4 different cars to get a feel and to allow us to make the right decision. Even after i signed the paperwork i was allowed to change the colour. so now its just got to wait for the delivery. Thanks to all the team at Westdrive Braintree & Paul Gowers an asset to the team. Thank you Lee Newson
