Just to update you. Finance has been sorted and very happy now. Adam at Whitley Bay motors has been fantastic and very professional from us first meeting him. Yes I have had issues with the car but in fairness even though it's frustrating these things happen. Seen Adam today and he is getting the key fob sorted. Under the current circumstances I cannot thank Adam enough for all his help. If you ever go into this dealership ask for Adam
They are willing to sell cars that have been bodged up so you get a working car to start with until you drive away. The salesman doesn't have one clue about anything you ask and tried to prove a point by saying the car drives fine yes it does apart from no power or working turbo... I had it checked by two garages including the main dealer garage who advised no work had been done and it wasnt road worthy. When my neighbour returned hia car the salesman came out with two others acting as body guards but all 3 didnt even have a clue or seem to understand there was an issue with the car Definitely read the negative reviews as I wish I did before stepping anywhere near the place. They are still up to there same old tricks selling faulty cars and wiping mot advisory's claiming the work has been done when in fact it hasn't. Also they will give you the V5 forms of previous owners showing address details they can't even grasp data protection. Didn't even want to leave one star they are not even worth that.
Called into have a look at a Nissan Juke Nismo RS which i had seen on Autotrader, spoke to the salesman Paul about them popped back to have a drive of it. Paul was absolutely first class no pressure sales , decided to go ahead with the purchase car was ready on time all paperwork was in order and a smooth transaction, definitely recommend 👍
I phoned an hour before closing for information about a car. The man taking the call said he'd need to look at the file and he'd call me back. I waited until late morning the next day and still hadn't had a callback so I contacted them again. I was told that in his opinion the car I was interested in shouldn't have been put on the market due to a nasty smell inside it (I won't use his exact words). He said I could still look at it but the chances were that the horrible smell would still come back and he didn't want to sell it in case I brought it back after a few weeks. It did cross my mind that the car may have been earmarked for someone he knew as the story was so odd and far fetched, A good salesman would have told me that he could suggest another car (there was a Nissan that might fit the bill) but my query about the original car was knocked on the head so I ended the call as I felt he was steering me away from the car I wanted. I did some research on the internet about the Nissan but the MOT showed the same advisory had appeared two years running and the repair would have been approx £400+ so I discounted that car as I'd guess it would more than likely fail the next MOT and I'd have a hefty bill, Not a pleasant experience at all. I'd shop around and do your homework but I've never known a salesman who was reluctant to sell me a car
Bought a 10 year old Micra for my mother and found them to be helpful and easy to deal with. We turned up to collect the car and they'd fitted 2 brand new tyres that we hadn't asked for. I'd noticed the 2 front ones were low but I hadn't said anything and they were within limits so they could have easily let us drive off, so take from that what you will. (They should change their name though, I appreciate they used to be in Whitley Bay but they aren't now so it makes no sense to keep the name)
Bought a 66 plate car, so 5 years old at the time of purchase 11months ago. Basically with no warning the car went into limp mode. Fortunately i was right near a garage which was lucky as the smoke coming from the exhaust was horrendous and extremely concerning particularly with the car going into limp mode and registering a red engine management light on the dash. The lads in the garage looked at me with absolute shock and asked me when I last had the car serviced. I explained it was done when I bought the car 11 months ago. The mechanic could not believe the car had been serviced, infact said it had been some time since it had been in his opinion. He was also surprised at the mileage and questioned this himself. He showed me the oil filter and the oil was like jelly and absolutely filthy. I was advised that the engine was completely broken and the wider parts affected due to the oil having travelled through causing major damage. This was confirmed by a second garage where I got a second opinion. I had a bad feeling about Steve who sold us the car but never doubted the integrity of the garage, it was a large business with lots of cars and 2 sites. The car itself was immaculate and it fitted our lifestyle perfectly. We were happy with the car at first. The car is a hyundai i40 estate, immaculate costing over 8 thousand pounds. We have absolutely nothing to show for our hard earned money. We've had to buy a car for 500 pounds to get us by as the garage have been completely dismissive and non responsive to telephone or email communication with a Peter that works there. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS AND DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE. Absolutely changed our lives and are heart broken. If you must buy from these crooks then do so with extreme caution!!!!!

Sold my Fiesta through them quickly and easily, within about two hours of first contact. Had a load of interest for it as the asking price was below average due to wanting a quick sale, but WBM were on the ball. Friendly service and would recommend selling through them if you just want a no fuss, quick transaction.

I am disappointed with the service I got from Peter don't go to him I bought a 11500 car off him in April and when I got it home it had suppose to of had a full mot I noticed the rear brake disks were worn and pitted took the car back down to Peter and got a response of its had a mot I have your money Wear and tear on the car now In October I have had to buy new ones 140 pound when the fitter took them off he was discussded with the lack of pad down to the metal I went in and showed these pads to the dealer and said Peter would give me a ring I found that conversation to be unfruitful the car it's self is fantastic but the service is very very poor and jf I was the managing directed of the company I would be ashamed at the way his sales team act
