Bought a freelander 2 from him. Outstanding service. I had a very slight problem with the brakes after 3 weeks of ownership. I rang the ownerfor advise. Bring it down . Sorted.. 12 out of ten. I can't fault the service I received. Well done M&L Whittlesey. Respect

This review is in the wrong place! It says it’s for M&L, nearby
I was looking for a nice new car when I came across this dealership they were very kind, and they also helped me find what I was looking for. I highly recommend Whittlesey Car Sales as they helped me and without a doubt, I'm sure they will help you.
I bought a Volvo C30 from Whittlesey Car Sales in February 2018. After 2 days, it failed to start. I agreed with the trader to return the car at my own expense and a full refund would be paid. It is now October 2018 and, despite constant reminders, the refund has only been partially paid. I took the matter to court and, despite the court finding in my favour, the dealer has STILL yet to make the full refund. The RAC diagnosed the problem as a high-pressure fuel pump problem, one of many problems that surfaced during my brief ownership: broken wing mirror indicator light, broken front grille, AM not working on the radio, missing spare wheel. If you are tempted to buy a car from this dealer, then don’t. If you do, check it very thoroughly or get an RAC or AA inspection done. My advice is to avoid this trader at all costs – they constantly break promises and have a disregard for the law.

Sally in response to Disreputable and dishonourable trader
Wish I had read this before I bought 😞
Bought an Audi TT approximately 5 weeks ago. I’ve already spent circa £800 in repair bills. Dealer promised to service the car, I should have checked because I later found out that the engine hadn’t been touched. The oil was black and the brake fluid level was low. I called the dealer and they said “I can’t help it if the garage I take it to doesn’t service it”. Are you kidding me. Potential buyers beware. They are friendly on the forecourt, but do not respond to complaints.
I bought a 2010 Mondeo from them, after 500 miles the turbo stopped working, I called them and they said Ali the proprietor was on a months holiday, I asked them about the warranty and they told me there wasn't one! I had a new turbo put on the car a a cost of £1024, an it is now again in the garage for another problem! Stay clear of these

We bought a car from Whittlesey car sales last weekend, it has since broken down, after only being driven a few times. The guy who owns the dealership is refusing to reimburse us despite it being the law now that if the car fails within 30 days of purchase then you can reject it and be refunded in full. He is trying to say that the car was sold to us as spares, why then was it advertised with an MOT (passed in May 17) and why did we take it on a test drive, and why would we pay £500 odd for a car that was just sold as not working and for spares only? It was sold as in good working order, otherwise we wouldn't have purchased it. We are now having to go down the road of writing letters, and referring them to the consumer ombudsman. Any advice of being successful with getting your money back quickly from this company would kindly appreciated.
I sent a 2nd letter special delivery 22/06/17 to be received by 13:00 on 23/06/17. He refused to sign for it. I am now proceeding with a claim to the courts and will probably end up with a high court writ. I bought a Renault Megane for almost £800.00. Renault dealers estimate for repairs £4030.40. There is no showroom just a rundown cabin and shabby forcourt. He doesn't deal with issues neither does he care of health and safety to people or the cars.

Please stay away from this he has sold me ford.mondeo after 11 days the car its a non runner just waste the money they ignore me all the time!!!! Be aware!!!!! And.stay away please dont waste your time and money.
Whittlesey Car Sales is a terrible dealership. Very unprofessional approach to dealing with car sales. Their technical knowledge and understanding of issues that can arise with cars makes it incredibly difficult to understand how they have managed to stay afloat. Communication is very poor. From the moment my car developed a problem the day I bought it they tried to bury their head in the sand, dictate to me if I should want to keep the car, attempt to make me wait 28 days for their "investigation" to be carried out, told me that they drove the car at 90mph on public roads to find the fault, then proceeded to imply I was lying when the fault caused a serious safety issue to me on the motorway. Whilst offering me a test drive, they let me drive the car on my own, and after I informed a friend who is knowledgeable on law, he told me they needed trade plates on the vehicle, with copies of legal documentation to allow the test drives. Carrying out the test drives without trade plates is the same as driving a car with no tax or insurance, which I later found out. They told me the car would be recovered the same day, then the next day, then they had a problem with their recovery vehicle but failed to inform me, so I was left waiting for a few days for them to show up. The amount of times I heard "they will definitely be there..." is incredible. I would never recommend this garage to anyone I know, or anyone that is thinking the car is a steal. They price their cars a little under market value hoping to achieve sales as they know they can get rid of the cars which should be sold for scrap. Luckily for me, the prospect of facing incredibly serious legal implications through various agencies made the refund happen on the spot with fear in the eyes of the traders.
