I was invited to the dealership to try out the new Honda jazz hybrid and what a machine it is! The sales person let my wife and I take it out for an hour on our own and we fell in love immediately and ordered one as soon as we got back and got a great price for our part exchange at the first offer which is unheard of. A truly positive and satisfying experience buying a new car.

Wigan Honda were very unprofessional, the finance co tracts where completed incorrectly, dealer did not request settlement figuree in writing until 2 weeks after signing new agreement, the 2 weeks later I had to call for the documents to tax the new car. Told that the tax had been stopped, hence I was driving without tax.

I bought a nearly new Honda prestige 10 weeks ago. It took them three weeks longer than they told me it would to settle the finance with VW who were getting shirty with me. There is a problem with the Sat Nav. it gets lost periodically just when I need it the most. I can be on the motorway but it has me in a field and just keeps saying "recalculating" It does eventually find its self but this can be in 5 minutes or two hours. Cox at Blackpool said they wold have to charge me for £50 doing an update but a salesman could do it for free. Blackpool said I could go to Cox Wigan which I did because its much nearer to me. They booked it in for a service the following Monday but phoned me an hour before (after I had booked the morning off work) to say don't bother bringing it in. WE don't know how to fix it. It we update the software it will damage the unit. WE will get back to you when Honda tell us the solution. Two weeks have passed and I have heard nothing. They were not the most pleasant people I have ever met, quite curt really, my honda experience is so far very disappointing.
Part exd my car when buying a new one from Wigan Honda and a month on they still haven't settled the finance on my old car. I am now receiving letters and charges left right and centre for not paying the old finance, when Wigan Honda are claiming its all paid off. Absolute shambles and trying to sort anything out is like trying to get blood out of a stone

Be really careful an make sure you know your stuff when buying a car from Honda Wigan if they no you avnt got a clue they will screw you they were more expensive than the other Honda dealers for the exact same car an tried saying they were doing favours like given 3 year service even though we were informed from Rochdale Honda that because the car was 2016 plate all Hondas come with a 5 year service I am so happy we got the-exact same car from Rochdale £600.00 cheaper an 12 thousand mile lower .The staff an management were so truthful not trying to force other products on to you .we struggled so much trying get deposit back from wigan Honda with the manager lying saying that the money was going to be put back into are account but did not do it

I had a similar experience with them offering me 3 years 'free' servicing. Going through the ombudsman to try to bring them to account for lying. Could do with some help Sharron M if you can give a statement
Arranged an appointment at Honda Wigan to sort a deal on a car advertised. Checked day before that car was still available as it had gone off the site but was told car was still ready. Arrived (with my car and a motorbike, which was part of the deal) to be told, after 20 mins and some odd typing on an iPad, that the car was already sold to a customer booked in that morning. Wasted a whole day to be told they "can't refuse to sell a car", regardless of an appointment already booked in to sell one. Existing Honda customer but won't be using them again. Awful service
Awful customer service and complacent attitude. Avoid Wigan Honda if possible and if you choose to buy a car from this garage please do so with caution.

Arranged a test drive of a CRV over the phone with Martin Bond who seemed amenable and accommodating. I explained that I was looking to buy for my wife and that we had a car to part exchange. I turned up for the test drive, took the car for an hour and came back with every intention of placing an order if the price was right. However as soon as I mentioned that we were considering contract hire I was curtly told "we don't do that" and then "ok". My wife's car key was placed on the desk next to me and he walked away into the office! At first I mistakenly thought he was getting something but it was clear after a couple of minutes that his business with me had concluded! I look at some other figures with you' (PCP etc) he just walked away. I left in utter disbelief that I had been treated so rudely. I will not return to Wigan HONDA again and I will certainly recommend people stay clear. Another dealer can have my order.

This is the first negative review for me in over fourteen years in this business, you thought I’d left you at my desk, when in fact I had to wait for advise from my manager before I came back to the table, it’s ironic as I thought you were the ignorant ones for walking out on me, it just goes to show how wrong we both were.
DREADFUL EXPERIENCE with Wigan Honda & Cox Motor Group. They have put me off ever buying another Honda. I do not have a lot of money and went £500 over my £6500 budget to buy a used CR-V. I went through a Honda main dealer for peace of mind. WHAT A MISTAKE!! Wigan Honda sold me a vehicle with £1200 worth major mechanical faults that they new about and did not inform me about. They claim they did nothing wrong. The law says otherwise. Despite having the law on my side, I had a huge fight on my hands. Eventually the very rude Barry Thompson, Wigan Honda Dealer Principle informed me that they had wasted enough time on me and reluctantly agreed to give my money back if I returned the vehicle at my expense. (I live over 100 miles away). David Cox the Group MD ignored all of my plea’s for help. I am now over £500 down from this experience.

I bought a Honda Civic back in August. I have had some issues with it which have been resolved eventually but it has taken some time and the car hadn't been valeted when I received it. It's not been an awful experience but I wouldn't recommend this dealership.
