Was going to sell my mini to them but they messed me about and wasted my time, after I thanked them for their time the salesman tim didn’t even bother saying goodbye. Being polite doesn’t cost a thing. Didn’t buy a car so the stars are reflective of my experience other than 1 for customer service
I bought a car for 34k and as soon as I drove to home finding issue complaints about them they call in for sorting the issues out but rather changing the items was promised the sales representative lied about saying it has been changed and they were far worst then it was before. Again taken in the car and they can not resolve the issues and handing the car back in to say if you not happy you can take it further.

I called in to BMW Rochdale to see if someone would take a quick look at a problem I was having with my car, I believed it would be under warranty, it was only visual and not mechanical. I was told that no one was available and to book it in, the earliest appointment was in 3-weeks. I was also advised there would be a diagnostic charge of around £100 which would be charged if not covered by warranty plus the cost of the part and labour. On the morning of my second visit after the initial 3-weeks waiting I received a phone call advising that the technician that needed to see the fault was on holiday leave, this knocked on the visit another few days and a visit 3 was booked in. On the third visit I waited over an hour for a simple non mechanical check to be done when they knew I was waiting. At this stage I have only got to the diagnostic part of the process. I was concerned during the visit as another customer was very upset and refused to speak to one of the advisors, they were obviously experiencing difficulties. Also I notice that the service manager stays in his room and the service agents are in and out of there relaying messages and concerns. Why doesn't this guy get out of their and circulate with the customers, show a bit of interest and politeness, I'm sure your ratings embarrass you and you really need to take note - communication, friendliness and a caring environment would go along way at Williams Rochdale.

I have a E330 hybrid, electric heater doesn’t work, my local garage said it heats up but trips out, he recommended to take to BMW due to the fault. Visit 1, dropped off at 8:30 explained all this to the lady on the desk, picked up at 5:30, to be told it needs to be seen by a senior technician due to being a electric car. Then charged me £112 for the work??. Booked in for visit 2, with senior technician👍👍👍, again dropped off early picked up late, and tried to charge me another £140, I asked had they managed to find the fault and a price to fix, the reply was, no it needs to be looked at by a senior technician. I replayed this is what it was booked in for, they had lost my job notes and did job1 again. I refused to pay. Visit 3, booked in again for senior technician, arrived at 5pm to find my car in the same spot, as left at 8:30 am not even looked at.. visit 4. Information from visit 3 all passed down, dropped off 9am, had a call at 3pm, it will need 2 hours work to confirm the problem, I said it’s OK, just get it done and back tonight, arrived at 5:15, to be told they didn’t have enough time to do the job, so could I book it back in. My car is a company car, and I cannot go to work without it, so frustrating. To cap it all off, a member of the sales team called me on vist 3 and asked if I would like a tour around the new cars.as mine was in for a repair the following day. I said I was in the market for a new car, and did come in some months earlier to look around, I eventually found a sales man group, who I excused myself for interrupting their chat, and asked if they had a particular car in, to be told we think there is one over on the other side,. I had a walk over, came home I had great pleasure in telling him, I’ve ordered one from Birmingham BMW, it’s due in 3 months

Rung bmw in Rochdale five times no one answered to phone did not get to speak to anyone very sad service. Can't believe it with was going on wanted to spend money your loss.
My son recently purchased a 2021 BMW 1 series M Sport from BMW Rochdale . After purchasing the car my son noticed that the front axel had a Continental tyre and a Goodyear tyre on,the back had Goodyear tyres fitted.According to all auto safety sites, this is dangerous and unsafe .After contacting BMW Rochdale, he was told by Service and their Tyre consultant, that they were perfectly safe and they would not replace the Continental tyre with a matching Goodyear. I think this is disgusting and shows no respect for safety.

Just purchased an 8 series gran coupe. We dealt with Ian Mulgrew who was great he made buying the car so easy, We weren't local to the area and Ian made us a detailed video of the car. There was absolutely no pressure sale. The cars fantastic and would highly recommend Williams BMW Rochdale and definitely recommend speaking to Ian. Dave and Elaine, Blackpool
I have read some of the negative reviews on here and was sceptical about buying from BMW Williams Rochdale at first however I'm glad I went through with it as they have to be the friendliest and most professional dealership I have ever bought from. Pete McCulloch who I bought the car from was very easy to deal with and no hard sale nonsense you get elsewhere. On arrival all staff were pleasant and helpful. It was another salesman Mark who done the car hand over and I noticed a small scratch on the car to which the manager quickly rectified and as a way of apology for the initial disappointment of seeing the scratch put £50 of fuel in the car to get me home to Scotland. Overall a fantastic dealership with great staff and an excellent selection of cars in stock. I would highly recommend and won't hesitate to buy from Williams BMW Rochdale again.
Service visit for routine troubleshooting, which took 3 weeks and I had to chase constantly as updates were not provided and calls not returned. Went to collect the car having been told it was fixed. Paid £1000. Got in the car to drive home, only to find it was not fixed. Left it with them for another 2 weeks. Brought it home for a week, covered about 15 miles, then it sprang a coolant leak in the same area of the engine which was worked on previously. Booked it back in and 3 days later it is still sat there untouched. Never been offered a loaner. They book 100 cars in when they know they can only work on 20 in a day. And either they give everyone the totally crap service I got, or I am discriminated against for not having a brand new car, I'm not sure which. Doesn't matter if you give them weeks of notice, you still won't get the car back the same day, no matter how minor the work required is. Their rubbish service is a key factor in whether I even consider buying another BMW.
