We put a deposit on a Toyota Prius and organised an RAC check. The check came back with some issues which we discussed. On the dealers advice we also got a Toyota approved check and compared the two reports. We agreed on what needed to be done and the dealer organised this. They were very helpful and polite and we felt reassured that we purchased a good car

This is the second car I have purchased from the guys at Windmill. I have to say yet again the service was exceptional. Everyone we came in contact with was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Andy was very attentive and he helped us at every stage and worked an acceptable deal for us around a trade in of our old car. The purchased car was presented in a very good condition on the day of collection and Andy even helped me tax the vehicle and change the registration to my personalised plate on line from their showroom. No problems were experienced I have no hesitation in recommending them to any purchaser.
Fabulous service from this dealer,. Had a great selection of automatic cars making my two and half trip worthwhile, the no pressure sales and been able to test drive the car on your own was a real breath of fresh air . The car is as described and I'm really pleased with it . Would recommend Windmill Autos to family and friends and will be my first port of call next time I'm looking for a car.
After visiting about 9 or 10 dealers of many marks over 2 weekends the staff at windmill autos made me feel welcome and at ease. Excellent service from Sam and Andy from test drive through to purchase and delivery of our new family car. Honest and open communication, kept us well informed at each stage and unlike other dealerships made sure even the smallest member of the family was happy with our choice! Delighted with our new Nissan Qashqai and would recommend both the brand and the dealership without question.
I bought my car from Windmill autos earlier this year and cannot rate them highly enough. Right the way through from the initial phone call, to visiting the show room and purchasing my car I was thoroughly impressed with the high levels of service and support that I received form Andy and Sam. There was a great range of cars to choose from considering I was looking for an automatic and have previously found it very hard to find a selection. I would definitely suggest giving them a call or dropping in when you're looking to purchase your next vehicle!
We drove an hour to look at an 'immaculate' car advertised on auto trader. When we got there, the car was far from immaculate!! It had pieces of the interior that had broken off, numerous scratches on the bodywork and you could see where a rear panel had been badly replaced!! Having driven an hour to get there, we decided we'd give it t a test drive anyway. The answer to this was that we could only test drive it if we either applied for finance or put a deposit down first. Basically they want you to their cars before you can drive it and if you're not happy with it after your test drive, tough!! Wouldn't go near Windmill Autos.
I am giving Windmill Autos a 5 score for there customer service which was excellent. We spoke to Sam who was very polite and helpful and was a pleasure to talk to. We were interested in a particular car and Sam run through all the details as in history and mot, unfortunately as we had quite a distance to travel and my wife was not very well and due to this we had to cancel out in getting our lovely car. Sam was most understanding and wished as well. Thanks for all your help Sam. Would recommend Windmill Auto's
My husband and I saw a great little automatic car I've been after for a while and drove just over an hour to this dealership. When we got there, no one bothered to come greet us outside as we were taking a look around the car. Once we went inside we were greeted and told we could take it for a test drive, which we did. It seemed like a nice little car, and we were interested. However, the car didn't have any service history after the first 20k miles (car has 75k miles) so we went to a coffee shop down the road to talk about it. The dealership seemed very friendly and had some great policies, so we were still considering the car. After a lengthy discussion we decided to pass on this car due to the lack of service history (so nothing to do with the garage), but when we called back to let them know we wouldn't be returning, but wanted to continue working with them and keep in touch about new stock they would get in, they hung up on us as soon as we said we were going to pass on this car. I was surprised because they seemed pretty nice and reasonable in person. I won't be going back there and wouldn't advise anyone to go there because they seem to care about sales, not customers.

I had a similar experience. The sales people need to spend less time fabricating poor excuses and more time address there customer service skills skills and anger issues.
I bought a BMW 1 series in August 2015. The car was supposed to be serviced. Hower the was a massive oil leak that I had to fix a couple of weeks later. I don't believe the car has been serviced or has been serviced by people who are not able to do their own job. Obviously, the 3-months insurance did not cover this. WINDMILL AUTOS are not even bothered to reply to emails. Overall, very bad experience.
