Car Dealer Reviews is an

Be careful of this dealership, it is owned by the same person who owns West Brook Car Sales and many others. Every time something goes wrong they change name or trading as name. Dont just take my word for it, do the digging yourself on companies house and seek out the registered director for: PARK HILL ENTERPRISE LIMITED 10300037. WINSTON MOTORS LTD 08851920. Took me all of 5 minutes to find this out, I hate to think just what i would find if i took a proper look.

We bought a car from Winston Motors Ltd in October and its a death trap, they are useless and do not reply to complaints, we have gone to the press to get justice!
I bought a car with HM cars end of October. Being a single mum and student I am really upset. I took it back 24th Dec and now they are saying the company has now closed and it's a new company. Please contact me on 07833323247. I am suprised as the people are the same and the fleet of cars are still the same. It means all their cars (if they are like mine) faulty and they are doing this to other people. I am prepared to go any length with this case.

How did you pay for the car?
My son brought a Renault Megane 2006 from Winston Motors in Feb 2015.home to find 10 minutes after leaving it had lost power. They had already closed as it was 5pm. He called them the next day and they asked us to take it to a local garage to get a dionostics done. We did. That was the last time we had contact woth them. Thet refused all knowledge of selling us the car. They changed their name 7 days later to HM Car sales. Director is still the same. Our court case is on Sept 21st therough the small claims court. The car was diagnosed as not safe to drive. Turbo had gone and the mot wasn't worth the paper it had been written on on the day they did it which was the day my son brought it. Terrible service, disgusted they could sell a unroadworthy car to a 18yr old who had to drive 250 miles home!! The car was SORN the next day and has sat in our drive since. Please email me if you want to discuss further if you have been ripped off by these lowlifes, that have no morals or feeling s for us hardworking citizens. My son now has a loan to pay for another car as all his money went into the heap of junk they sold him. Michelle.henshaw.ray@gmail.com
Hi, has anyone had a good outcome from this company? I am having the same problem and have tried everything to get it sorted and now I am thinking small claims is the only way forward. Please can anyone with information leave a review on this page that may help me.

Hi there, did you have any luck with getting this company to pay out? We have just been sold a faulty car by them trading under a different name.
bought a car from hm cars, they gave md great service, very helpful, no problems with car. yes it has wear and tear which you expect but other then that cant fault it.
Went to look at a 3 series BMW at HM car sales also know as Winston Motors Ltd. The car looks really good and I thought for the price may be too good to be true. When I first went to look they were very helpful. The car seemed great and there were a few things that needed doing before I took the car, including the rear window where the arm which pushed the window out to open it was broken which I told would be fixed. My Dad then put a fairly large deposit down, big mistake. I went to pick up the car three days later on the Saturday, but when I arrived was told it wasn't there, it was still in the garage which was doing the repairs and since it was a religious holiday he would not open the garage to give them the car. When I asked why they didn't pick the car up on the Friday they simply said they forgot. I went to collect my car the following Monday in my lunch hour. I phoned in the morning to say I would be coming at a specific time. When I arrived at lunch to collect the car was STILL not there, and was told one of the guys was on his way back from collecting it. He then walked in fifteen minutes later with a loaf of bread in a sainsburys bag, which I believe he had used my car to go and collect- VERY unprofessional. When I looked at the car it was dirty, had muddy foot prints I it and instead of fixing th back window arm as they had said, they merely glued a copper pipe to it so that it would open and shut, but certainly was not fixed as stated. When questioned about this the man there became very aggressive and said we were being picky and judging the car, and that to fix he window would cost around £250 which we could not expect them to pay for the amount I had bought the car for. I have since looked and the part for the window is £12 on eBay.. Despite all of this I had put a deposit down on the car so there was little I could do. I signed the paperwork and took the car away. On the way back to my work three engine lights came on. When taken to a garage the ABS sensor needed replacing. This seemed far too much of a coincidence. Because of the bad service and failure to fulfil their promises my trust in this garage was low and so I took it to another car garage and had it MOT'd. The whole front suspension needed replacing. Overall the service was disgraceful and although they were polite and helpful on first visit, once they had the money they quickly changed and did not fulfil their promise to fix the car in order for me to take away. Would advise anyone to avoid.
They make you sign a disclaimer stating any faults with a car are not their responsibility. I asked what was wrong with the car and they said nothing. I pointed out it needed a drive shaft, radiator and flasher relay. They denied this all saying it was mint. I showed them the faulty bits and they shrugged. They deny being Winston Motors but THEY ARE. AVOID.
My husband and I bought our daughter a car from H M car sales, within 48hrs our daughters car developed a fault which was not listed. We were not initially concerned as vehicle came with 3month warranty. However whilst having registered warranty immediately after purchase we were informed you cannot claim within the first 14 days of acquiring the vehicle, meaning the car car was purchased with an inherent fault and was told to go back to car dealer. After numerous calls I was told I needed to speak to "Adam" who was never there. I realised I was being fobbed off. I contacted legal advice who informed me I had to clearly set out in writing faults of said car. I emailed facts with receipt of work carried out in order to make car road worthy. Backing up with registered letter, giving H M car sales two weeks to reply. I have once again been totally ignored!.
