I bought car from Winston Motors on 29 May 2015 for £1250. After a few days I found a serious problem, this was a coolant leak . It will cost me 800 pounds to repair. Warranty company rejected claim. I asked HM to repair no cost to me .. Case registered with citizen bureau. Send letters to HM car sale ..waiting for a reply before going to court. My contact number is 075745666669.

I recently brought a vehicle from H M Cars,formally known as Winston Motors.It was sold with 3 months warranty yet the salesmen couldn't tell me what it covered. Within 3 weeks there was a problem and I took it to a garage,there I was told there were engine problems and it was leaking oil. I took it back but was refused a refund or replacement vehicle,and no faults were covered on warranty.This vehicle cost me £1000 and now another £600+ to be fixed.Avoid this company

Went to look at a 6n2 Polo with advertised 44,000 miles and FSH, when I got there there seemed to be a lot of exterior scratches around door locks and interior was shabby for a car with low miles. Took it for test drive and something wrong with brakes. I went back to look at paperwork & asked about the mileage, he said it had all been checked & showed me the past MOT printouts from DVLA website. They'd been put in the wrong order to hide the past mileage, the mileage had actually been reset in 2006 from 58,000 to zero!! So actual mileage was more like 104,000. I told the guy there and he didn't seem bothered; the car is still up for sale a week later advertised as having only 44,000 miles. AVOID. Now trading as HM Car Sales
