This was the worst ever experience I had with a car dealer, left me feeling that I'd never go to dealers /brokers to purchase vehicles.. I visited this trader WMS Motor Group located at UB1 2PD in Southall which is around 23 miles away from Goodmayes the place where I live. I called up this dealer 2 days before and said that I liked their Toyota Prius 1.5 Hybrid advertised on AutoTrader then appointment was fixed on Saturday.It took 2.5 hrs for me to travel there, after I reached there I see lot of cars outside their garage and some inside the garage but no one bothered to ask me what I came for. You will forget what you came for by the time they attend you :-( After 1/2 hr of waiting, a worker comes out of that garage and enquired what I wanted, then I explained to him politely. He said the manager is having his lunch inside and told me it would take 15mins, by that time he advised me to take a look at their Prius vehicles parked along the road just outside their service center. I was patient enough after travelling so far, the worker went inside the garage as he said it was a very busy day for him. When I checked their vehicles most of them were locked, I couldn't open doors or take pictures etc, none of them had a sticker showing mileage, price & other details so it was pointless standing and waiting. I then told the worker about this who just came out again to see me again. He showed a vehicle whose door wasnt locked and said all the prius models have same dimension so I can have a look at it, he then disappeared. It was 2005 or '06 model which had done around 50K miles going for £4500, though it was slightly out of my budget 4K I wanted to get a test drive and wanted some more explanation but there was proper staff to explain things. After a wait of another 1/2 hour of just checking the other locked cars, now the big man, manager comes out and asks me what I came looking for. I played back the story again and also made him clear that I wasn't much interested in other vehicles except the car whose advert i saw in the website [ description- £3,990 Toyota Prius 1.5 Hybrid T Spirit Hatchback 5dr Petrol Hybrid CVT (104 g/km, 76 bhp)- Key Facts 2005 Hatchback 35,000 miles Automatic 1.5L Hybrid] The manager said that vehicle is gone for service today and is not available, and that he could show me tomorrow or day after. He also says he can go drive the vehicle now but again on the agreement that I made a deal and make some deposit for that car. This is totally unacceptable to me, as a customer I can travel and come 23 miles far only to go without seeing the vehicle I came for which is a shame! I could have asked the dealer to cover my travel costs before he could show me the vehicle i was interested, to me it sounds illogical. I left the place as I was no more interested in them who has no customer service skills or ethics to deal with customers. They should learn sales, customer service, treating customers with dignity and respect, not behaving rude and attitude. Show the car first, explain the options, get an idea of the person's taste, provide a test drive facility and then ask customer regarding deposits or payment if he/she had liked the car. That's what customer service is really. Literally, I have ruined my weekend, I could have spent a good time with my family instead:) Thank you for reading my post.

I was sold a car which was not road worthy. From the Advert on Auto-trader the dealer fail to mention the damages and poor tyre conditions the car was in. I did not get to test drive it as dealer was mentioning about 6 months warranty and I should not worry. Little did I know he will turn nasty as soon as I signed the paperwork and transferred the money in his account. Soon as he saw money in his account he turned rude and unhelpful. When car was out of that dark showroom, reality hit me hard. I drove it and it was bad. My local mechanic told me I was conned and the dealer asking me £500 cancelling fees to even consider repairing the car. Told the warranty company about issues in the car and was declined telling me its not covered. Advise to you all, Argue for Test Drive, forget the warranty , ask for FSH and fees about changing your mind. Found out these negative reviews on google for ' WMS SOUTHALL review' and they are true from my experience. Lesson learned the hard way for me unfortunately.

I bought my car from WMS Motor group last week. Sealer was helpful, showed me three cars, gave me time to think about purchase, make some phone calls etc. Car was ready for pick up on the date and time, repaired advisory on the latest MOT. saler even helped me to tax it. After reading these reviews I took the car to the independent garage, which I use for years. Mechanics checked everything and said it's a very good car. Only small thing is, front wipers needed to be changed-£7 altogether. Could be done before the sale

Not Approachable Staff. Went in the dealers shop which looked like a mess and no proper sign of WMS MOTOR GROUP anywhere in Hanwell/Southall London. Only written WMS was for the warranty company. Bad feeling in there. Thanking my lucky stars soon I read all these reviews. Had the manager insulting a recent customer. The guy was in tears. No wonder they do not have a website.

Firstly please confirm the day and time you attended so we can check our CCTV to determine if you have turned up to our premises. Secondly you claim our staff are not approachable so how would you know who is the manager???? WHERE TO I START WITH WMS MOTOR GROUP. I HAVE LOST MY TIME AND MONEY FIXING A CAR I BOUGHT FROM THEM RECENTLY. PICTURES WERE ALTERED, CAR SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AND NOT REPORTED. ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON WITHIN A FEW DAYS OF USE. CAR HAD NOT BEEN SERVICED FOR YEARS, LOW MILEAGE CAR WITH A LOT OF ISSUES. HE TOLD ME I WILL A CHOICE OF CARS BUT THERE WAS THIS ONLY ONE, TELLING ME FOUR CARS SOLD OUT IN THE MORNING AND HE IS VERY SUCCESSFUL DEALER SO NOT BARGAINING ON THE PRICE. SOON WAS FORCED TO PAY ADDITIONAL £90 ADMIN FEES WHEN KEYS AND PAPERS WERE ALL HANDED OVER AND THREATEN WITH CANCELLATION FEE OF £500. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE MAN. BEWARE AND DO NOT GO WITH HIS POSITIVE REVIEWS HE HAS BEEN POSTING HIMSELF TRYING TO FOOL INNOCENT CUSTOMERS.

READ REVIEWS WAS PUT OF AT FIRST THEN WENT TO EXPERIENCE MYSELF. SAW A WIDE SELECTION OF CARS AT VERY REASONABLE PRICES. STAFF WERE NOT PUSHY EVEN TOLD ME TO HAVE A THINK ABOUT THE DEAL OVERNIGHT WHICH I DID DO. RETURNED THE NEXT DAY TO SEE SOMEONE ELSE HAD JUST BEEN OUT ON A TEST DRIVE IN THE SAME CAR I WAS INTERESTED IN AND HAD JUST LEFT A DEPOSIT. I WAS GUTTED! I WAS PUT OF BY PEOPLES REVIEWS BUT EVERYONE HAS THERE OWN EXPERIENCE. I SHOULD HAVE NOT DOUBTED THEM AND SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT FIRST TIME AROUND. SO MY ADVICE IS TOO EXPERIENCE FOR YOURSELF AS I AM NOW KICKING MYSELF BECAUSE OTHER SIMILAR CARS ON THE MARKET ARE £800-£1000 MORE EXPENSIVE THEN WHAT I WOULD HAVE GOT FROM THEM.

When I arrived I saw owner arguing with a customers. Not a good sign. We were told we need to pay £250 for test drive insurance. We walked away. Please don't waste your time. They seem dodgy.
We have just bought a car from WMS Motor Group and it is faulty and unsafe. Asked for a refund as purchased less than a week ago and was told by the owner that he would not refund us and if we want our money back we must go through the courts. Rude and unhelpful people. Never buy from this garage.

What Can I say about WMS Motor Group? Right from start I did not feel welcome. Called mobile number , got a reply from another number with an address. Got there and the place did not look like a car dealer's place. No WMS Motor Group signs. Only one person cleaning the car and It looked small for a dealer advertising so many cars. I was told I will have few options on the Honda car I was looking for. Only 1 car was inside in the dark and was told I will have to wait for the boss to come in for a test drive. When I started the car , the one person told me not to leave the engine running as it disturbs the neighbours. What a way to welcome your customers. Car was not how it was presented on autotrader. Ridiculous , drove over 100 miles to that place and within 15 mins I knew I made the wrong choice and wasted my day. Avoid WMS Motor Group.
Bought my son who is disabled his first car from WMS Motor Group. The car has turned out to be an expensive pile of rubbish and we are now looking at an expensive repair bill. The dealer will take no responsibility for this and I am sure that when he sold to us he was aware that it was faulty.
