August 2019: I purchased a Porsche Panamera 4s from the Woodland Carriage company. I viewed the car with my wife and took it for a test drive and we decided it was a great car. We had Steve at the Garage do one or two jobs before collection a few weeks later. We have since done over 10 thousand miles in it all over Europe with only one slight issue. This was the rear passenger door would not open when using the key fob. It was put down to a faulty door servo and this was all paid for and fixed in a day or two at a Porsche specialist in oxford under the warranty with out me paying a penny. We are now looking again for a new car for my wife and would not have any issues buying from this garage again. Dave W.

Bought a Mercedes S Class from Woodlands Carriage Company in May with a warranty, Unfortunately the car had a lot of faults on delivery and I finally got the car in June a month later. Although this was a pain they did provide a courtesy car. All good up to now...... The car then developed another engine fault and again had to go off for repair, An independent garage (promoted by Steve at Woodlands) carrying out the repair, had a reasonable bill after carrying out tests to rectify a coil pack issue (expensive on V12 Mercs), I agreed with Steve at Woodlands to pay the garage bill for trying to fix the problem and he would reimburse me for the first £300 + Vat (he could then claim this back from warranty Co). This was agreed before I paid the £512 bill! I would then get the car coil packs fixed through a combination of the independent garage and warranty Co. This has still not happened (7 months on) as the warranty company like to drag there heals! Anyhow Steve and Clare have not paid me the £300 + Vat and chose to ignore my emails, etc. Buyer beware of the warranties sold and the promises from the business owners.

In searching for a Skoda Yeti 2.0 litre I came across Woodland Carriage Company who had a Yeti with the required spec, mileage, price & colour preference. When I rang & said I live over 100 miles from Woodland's location, I was offered an option to pay a minimal refundable deposit to reserve the vehicle. Upon visiting several days later, the Yeti was in pristine condition, fully serviced, long MOT, fully warranted & I was offered a solo test drive, it drove & looked exceptional. We spoke with the owners Steve & Claire, my car had been valued & we agreed a no pressure deal without haggling, which was a very fair outcome for Woodland & an excellent deal for us, after shaking hands, everything was dealt with online to enable us to drive away immediately. I was totally overwhelmed by the exceptional friendly professionalism of all at Woodlands & I highly recommend them to you, a truly unequalled best 5 star plus sale ever, in my 35 years of retail sales experiences. I bought my car from Woodland 2 weeks ago and was nervous buyer after not owning or driving a car for well over 3 years. Steve gave all the information I required and more, putting any doubts I had to rest without pressuring me to buy. Communication with him and his wife Clare was open, honest and friendly and buying the car was smooth and hassle free. My Ford Focus is as described in the advert and as Steve described when I spoke to him by phone. I am more than happy with my purchase. The only downside to this experience was not meeting his lovely wife Clare.

Brought a car in Dec 16 from Woodland Carrige Company. Should have known there would be problems, went to view twice both times car wasn't showroom ready, very dirty. I'm still waiting for wing mirror to be fixed that was agreed at purchase, they don't respond to e-mails, since Dec the suspension has played up, the heating doesn't work, the warranty is through Halfords who want money front and very unhelpful, not going to pay a garage and take a chance I might be able to get back through the warranty. Paul if you do want to get in touch the mirror as I say is still broken.

Again please accept our apologies, my job is to deal with our customers 'after' they have taken delivery of their vehicle, I feel this is a very important role as it ties up any loose ends, and most importantly we have a happy customer who will come back to us. It's not just about selling you the car, the after sales is just as important to us. My husband and I have taken the decision to no longer employ sales staff, we now look after all of our customers in person, so to eradicate any outstanding issues and to prevent false promises. Waited 4 months before we got our warranty pack from Woodland Carriage Company, had to ring about 12 times to remind them. Was waiting for centre caps for our Audi A5 which they told us had been ordered - 6 months later still waiting - numerous phone calls to them and they just made excuse upon excuse - not impressed.
Could not be more impressed with the team from woodland. Nothing to much trouble excellent would recommend and would real with again.
I emailed woodland carriage company regarding a Range Rover Evoque they have for sale. I asked for a walk around video to be emailed, so that I could view the condition of the bodywork and the wheels. I also requested confirmation of the HPI & the service history. Steve Paice replied that he would forward all the information to me. However after 2 day of waiting I phoned the company. I was told (by Paul) that Steve was off work due to sickness, therefore a video could not be emailed to me. I was advised that the vehicle was in excellent condition and that all the other information would be emailed to me. I did receive confirmation of the service history and based on the information provided my partner made the decision to make the 3 hour journey to view the vehicle with the intention of buying it. I made sure that the company was aware of the day & time that my partner would arrive. When my partner arrived he was astonished to find that the Evoque was covered in mud, there were scratches to the bodywork & wheels, the milage was 3000 above that advertised on the website & the interior had not been valeted. No explanation or apology was offered. The customer services my partner received was unsatisfactory. My partner was bitterly disappointed and made the 3 hour return journey home. Based on this I could not recommended this company to anyone.

I don't normally respond to these reviews, everyone is entitled to there opinion, We are a car dealer we sell 30 cars a month, so the 2 or 3 bad reviews a year I shrug off, But when I see a Review that is totally unjustified I feel the need to respond, Yes it was me the owner of the business that had the pleasure to respond to Miss Colclough requests. Miss Colclough requested by email a Video Walk Round of the car, Bare in mind we had 32 pictures on line, The car was being used by my wife, To do all the standard stuff a mum would do with our 11 year old son who plays football 5 times a week due to his comment to crystal palace football club a video was going to be tough, so I agreed with Miss Colclough that I would give a verbal description of the car and would make her aware of any issues, So I did Just that I Reported back to Miss Colclough That apart from a very good valet the car would be fine, I had also made Miss Colclough aware that i lived in very rural location, and my home is in middle of 7.5 acres of woodland, So we made appointment with Miss Colclough Who Due to the 3 hours drive expected to see them at late morning. I arrived at work in the car at 9.30 car was filthy but we could valet prior to Miss Colclough Partners arrival who we expected to see mid day. But Miss Colclough Partner left nice and early and was with us at 9am, and was some what taken back that the car was dirty. So we apologised for the condition of the vehicle, but we now had a barrage of abuse from Miss Colclough Partner, to the point where he was upsetting other customers, so we asked Miss Colclough partner to leave, He Just asked for money off due to its condition, but on the basis we had the best value car currently advertised on Autotrader we declined his offers. we sold this car 2 days later to a lovely guy, he bought it for his wife it had NO damage to the paint work, it had NO damage to the wheels, but it had now been cleaned. I will ask the new owner to leave his comments. for you to read. I just hope Miss Colclough found her new car and is happy with it. Steve Paice, Director.
Customer service was great and they were very helpful in finding me the right car and taking me through the process, so far the car has lived up to my expectations and i am very pleased with my purchase. I've already recommended them to a few of my friends, and would fully recommend them to anyone else.
