After reading their advert on a Vauxhall vivaro which read bodywork in great condition no scrapes marks or dents .I decided to ring and was told van in excellent condition. After travelling to van centre to look at van sliding door damaged and dented. Then someone tried to tell me that it fine and what do you expect on a van you should be reported for false advertising. Would not recommend Woodlands Van Centre to anybody it's no wonder you have bad reviews and poor replies. Keep away.
Paul Covill from Woodlands Van Centre Ltd Bristol in response to Van
Woodlands Van Centre Ltd do our very best trying to prepare our stock to the best presentation possible. It can be harder than it may seem trying to make 3 to 5 year old vans like new, we endeavour to do our very best, sometimes the customer prefers to see a little mark instead of a re-painted panel so they can see the actual damage, so they can see it has not been hit by a bus! or involved in any heavy accident. W.V.C can have any bodywork repaired and did offer to do the repair. In this instance the customer arrived at our premises very angry due to a road closure and road works, unfortunately we can not foresee traffic problems and our staff are not to blame. I do not think the customer was in the right fame of mind to select a vehicle and took his frustration out on our salesman. Sorry we could not meet your requirements in this instance, we will take your feed back onboard.
Thank you Steve. You answered all my questions from start to finish nothing to much trouble, back and forth with different measurements. Quick easy and hassle free.

Both Aaron and Steve the sales team were superb, could not help enough, nothing to much trouble. After travelling over 100 miles a warm welcome with a hot cup of tea. Vehicle as described, we had previously agreed PX price which was honoured, they removed the bulkhead as i didn't want it. The service, professionalism and staff personality was second to none, definitely recommend, thanks guys!

Paul Covill from Woodlands Van Centre Ltd Bristol in response to Driver
Woodlands Van Centre ltd would like to thank you for your business and wish you all the best for the future.
A perfect example of appalling customer service, un helpful attitude and evasive. We put a deposit down on a ford ranger, which I must admit did state as non refundable. In test driving the vehicle, it clearly juddered in 1st gear, suggesting a clutch and flywheel was required. In stating this to the owner, he said we aren't mechanics and it didn't need doing. I hoped that given the fact we have driven 2 hours to collect the vehicle, explained we did want the truck,. but it had a clear issue (wasn't as described), we would be able to receive the deposit back. Even half would have shown an attitude that valued customer service and reputation. Not a chance. Given the reviews I have now seen, if there would have been an issue with the vehicle further down the line, he would have been extremely unlikely to have acted on it. This sort of dealership is what gives the motor trade a bad name.
Paul Covill from Woodlands Van Centre Ltd Bristol in response to Greg
WVC Ltd pride their selves on customer care. We strive to give every customer an excellent service. Unfortunately in this case, Gregorys Ltd, proceeded to purchase the 2004 Ford Ranger under the understanding that once we had serviced and supplied a new 12 months mot the deposit would be non-refundable, which the customer signed in agreement. On collection it was suggested the clutch "juddered" we suggested we would get a qualified motor engineer to inspect the vehicle further, hoping to give the customer a little reassurance re-afirming we would cover the clutch for a further 3 months regardless of mileage incurred and we were willing to put this in writing. The customer accused us of being "liars" as he did not believe we would commit to any clutch problem in the future. The customer became abrupt threatening to leave a bad review because we declined to refund his £200 deposit as we had incurred costs exceeding this amount supplying a new mot and service. How do we deal with this?
Terrible attitude and customer service. I bought a van from this supposed trusted dealer with the 'Best prepared vehicles around'. I took delivery of the van with the driver rushing for a quick signature. Upon checking the vehicle over I noticed that one of the tyres was bold and illegal. I checked the MOT certificate which it had just gone through and there were no advisories. In the advert the photo clearly shows the van prepared for sale with the standard silver wheels and Vauxhall hub caps. Upon delivery the van had black painted wheels and aftermarket wheel trims. When speaking the Paul (the owner of Woodlands Van Centre) he told me to drive the van back up to him to have a look (knowing that we were a good 2 hours drive away from the garage and that the van was illegal to drive on the highway). He said that the wheels had not been changed although they were completely different and accused me of changing them! He also blamed the MOT station and ignored the fact that they state a 60 point vehicle inspection and service before sale. I was then told that my attitude stinks for asking him to pay for a new tyre and that I was completely unreasonable by not driving it back to him to have a look at. TERRIBLE ATTITUDE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Paul Covill from Woodlands Van Centre Ltd Bristol in response to BARRY
The only reason we requested the vehicle be returned was because you insinuated that the wheels were not the original wheels you sore in the initial advertisement. Woodlands Van Centre Ltd asked you to return the vehicle to investigate the incident. We have used the same MOT station since we were established and have never had any problems, hence our continued use-not to say mistakes can not be made. We offered to pay for a new tyre as a good will gesture due to the fact you were a 2 hours drive away, i don't know what else we could have done to remedy the situation. Our sincere apologies.
I purchased a van from woodlands the van went wrong (injectors) 2 months and 1100 miles. Mr covill said on the phone to take it to vauxhall not him. Vauxhall said they wouldn't fix it then I rang again and recorded he said if they won't fix it he won't and that's life. 06 -09 vivaro with injector faults steer clear of this place I am in process of going court my consumer rights are on my side .
Paul Covill from Woodlands Van Centre Ltd Bristol in response to Mr Bowyer
Mr bowyer has made no attempt to pursue this matter in court. Over 6 months have past to date, could you please remove this review as it is un-true.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I ordered a Van over the phone with this company from their Autotrader advert, the van looked very clean and tidy, I was told it would have a new MOT and service before sall if i was to buy it, and that everything was working. I bought the van and paid in full, trusting Woodland Van Center were being honest in their description etc. I agreed at have the Van delivered as i am 2 hours away, on delivery the Van looked as described, the delivery drive was quite hasty to head back. After a quick look around the van i soon realised that it wasnt as good a deal as i thought, the rear doors don not open (very important thing for a van) there is a series of wires used to open the doors from inside botched job!!! When I rang the office to explain the issues, I was spoken to with terrible atitude by one of the samesmen, he said well bring tyhe van back and we'll look at it... Knowing im not about to drive 2 hours. I asked if his delivery man could come back as he had only left 5 mins before. His response was "thats not going to happen were not at your beckon call mate" Descustong customer serbvice, I CANT BELIVE THIS GUY EVEN HAS A BUISNESS. AVOID AVOID
Paul Covill from Woodlands Van Centre Ltd Bristol in response to MCOLLINS
Sorry Mr MCollins in this instance if you were dis-appointed with our service, but we can and will not respond to abuse and threats of violence. Woodlands Van Centre Ltd pride ourself on customer care, like you state in your review our after sales team are told to arrange a convenient date for the customer to return their vehicle for further inspection, no matter how big or small the issue! we are happy to help. If we can help in any way do not hesitate to call, we only ask, in a civil manner, please.
I was very shocked to read this review, my experience of buying my new van today was totally the opposite. Rang beforehand and the owner agreed a part exchange which was honoured when I collected. I had excellent customer service and the van is awesome. The owner from Sheffield has a very loud strong voice but me and my partner found him very friendly and helpful and his assistant could not do enough to help. Would definately recommend!
