Recently tested a car with them. Asked what the cash price was and given £200 off sales price. I made a counter offer and was told they’d rather keep it for a year than sell ot for cash. I went back and made another offer close to the figure they’d given me. Was told the sales director wasn’t in so they couldn’t say wether the offer was acceptable. Waited a week and phoned only to be told the car was sold. Asked why the salesman Martin hadn’t phoned me back to tell me about my offer he’s answer was “We wouldn’t have accepted it anyway” If this is the service you get when they’re try to sell you car, what will the after sales service be like ?

Wool & Bovington Motors is a great car dealer! The salesman was very helpful when I was looking for a new car and I got a great deal too. Very happy customer.

Purchased a car from Wool & Bovington motors and the sales team did everything they said they would. The car was serviced and had a new MOT on collection and came with a six month warranty. would highly recommend this company.
Had to listen to the service receptionist and car salesman slagging off customers whilst at Wool & Bovington Motors.
Wool And Bovington Motors. Wool and Bovington motors (also called Purbeck Motors) located in Wareham are an absolute joke! DO NOT buy any cars from them under any circumstances. I am now going to explain the reasons why you should never EVER buy a car from any of their dealers and hopefully save you from being miss sold and ripped off big time. Around a year ago I traded in my old fiesta Into them in order to finance a new Ford Kuga (HF67 0A0). I was told by the sales man that I was getting it with (his words) “lane assist” and “automatic window wipers” I later found out that it had neither of them. As a few months went by, the car began to develop a few faults on it even though it was a brand new car. These were easily fixed under warranty but would return after a few weeks or so. After a while of having the car and continuously having to get it repaired I said I would like to reject it. They tired to put it right for me (which is the procedure they have to take) but I was told instead that I could have a nice shiny new fiesta st line which would have all the features I asked for (including cruise control which my Kuga had) as compensation for being miss sold my kuga, I was given two free services by the dealer. Just before I drove away in my new car I was shown the “cruise control” and all the other features that I requested. After a few weeks of having the car I returned to the dealer to ask how to work the “cruise control” when I was told by Richard one of the managers there (His exact words) “Well, it’s a different type of cruise control, it’s a speed limiter”. That is NOT cruise control in my opinion. I didn’t think it was right that I had once again been miss sold a car which wasn’t what I had asked for and considering I was now paying slightly more per month even though the value of the new fiesta was less than my Kuga. Should I not have got my deposit back for rejecting the Kuga in the first place? Should my monthly payments have been less on this car? I later found out they carried the negative equity from my Kuga which is why I was still paying so much. I asked to reject the car many times and was put under the impression that was happening. All Wool and Bovington Motors (Purbeck Motors) did was put me in a worse and unfair situation. I continued to drive this car a little more when the electric steering began to malfunction slightly. At first it was only minor and they were able to update the system and reset it which fixed it. After a few weeks the problem returned and became extremely dangerous for me to drive my new car (The steering wheel would constantly twitch dramatically and drag me out of my lane) I was given a courtesy car countless times while they supposedly fixed it. In the end I got so fed up, I asked to leave ford as it was well with in my rights ( I didn’t ask to be miss sold a car TWICE and to be given a car which feels like a death trap) I was told I needed to speak to Ford Credit which is the company that supply Wool And Bovington Motors with the new cars. Ford Credit informed me they were going to help me but they had to communicate with the dealer in order to do so. Another manager at the dealers called Nick informed Ford Credit that they had not miss sold me the car when he new full well they had. This meant I was unable to reject the car. I explained to Nick this was extremely unfair on me to which he replied (His exact words) “It’s a harsh reality”. I went away to one of my more local ford dealers to tell them about my situation which they could not believe. They checked the warranty notes on both cars (Fiesta and Kuga) to which they found absolutely nothing was logged for repairs they had apparently done. I queried this with Wool and Bovington Motors and was told something on the lines of “We didn’t want it to go to head office” and something about it “costing us money”. This is so wrong and most likely illegal (Just like miss selling a car) Anyway. After a nightmare year of having to deal with that ridiculous rude business I have finally been helped out by another company and now in a much safer position and now own a much better car which isn’t a ford. I have found all the other ford dealers in Dorset to be absolutely amazing and have clear training and knowledge on that they are doing. Wool And Bovington Motors have the chance to put it right by reimbursing me either my deposit or some sort of compensation. Just save yourself the extreme stress and don’t go to Wool And Bovington Motors (Purbeck Motors).
I came away with my new car today, I can not fault the team they are so helpful and not pushy to make a sale like others. would recommend to all. Thanks to everyone at Wool & Bovington Motors.
