Purchased a lovelly Vw polo r line. From start to finish both service and communication was great from mark and the team. Everything was dealt with promptly and can’t fault wrights motors one bit.

Just had my car delivered from wrights motors which was purchased for my son, car is in tip top condition, came with 12 months mot, serviced and remarkably clean both inside and out. Nothing appeared to be to much trouble even to the point of respraying some small marks on the rear bumper and replacing a rubber trim on the front bumper with out me having to ask, that’s the first time I have experienced that with a used car. I would definitely encourage anyone thinking of buying a used car to try wrights motors of D/market even if the car your looking for is not advertised as they can most probably source what you are looking for. I will looking there when my other son is of driving age. Five out of Five from me.

Staff are friendly and professional, really nice people, the owner doesn't care once he's sold you the car. Tells you its fine to be told to wait two months to get your car seen, even while its in warranty and wont start? Played me like a game of chess wouldnt give me apts less than 1.5/2 months in the future, knowing i needed it working for my wife to drive my kids around then once its out of warranty, sarcastic and smug on the phone explaining that its all my fault that I have had constant problems since buying it and that i should have just got it booked in despite the fact it wouldn't start and my wife needed to transport my kids and i needed the car to be safe for them. , Apparently it was because I had put the wrong battery in it even though Halford checked it and the car needed complete new electrics. Now further issues with electrics and im stuck with a car I cant even sell and count my losses on. Fleet manager at my work checked the old battery and it was fine. its always been an electrics fault and there is still electrics faults don't bother,

Hi Adam, We feel your review is incredibly unfair, given the nature of the fault and how you decided to go about resolving it. You booked your car in with us while it was under warranty as the battery had gone flat. You're correct in saying it was 4 weeks in advance, due to how busy our workshop always is. Not long after booking it in, you then cancelled the appointment because you had been to Halfords and purchased a new battery that you decided to fit yourself. You then got in touch with us to say that the battery was still going flat, so we asked if you had fitted the correct battery, as a start/stop battery works differently to an ordinary one and requires programming to the car. You then you took the car to another garage becase you still couldn't wait for us to get the car in, and had the correct battery put on this time around. Again, this still didn't stop the battery from draining, so you then booked it in with us, calling the previous garage 'useless'. By the time it then actually came in to us, your warranty had expired. After some investigation, we found that the dashboard was staying illuminated even after the car was turned off and locked, which was therefore draining the battery. Due to the nature of the fault, we transported the car over to an Auto Electrical Specialist who fixed the issue, and suggested that the ECU had been spiked, which was likely to have been caused when the incorrect battery was put on the car or through multiple jump starts. Whilst you did have a bill due to being out of warranty, we didn't charge you for the diagnostics or even the transport on our lorry to and from the Auto Electrician. If you had left the car booked in with us originally, while it would have been a fair wait it also would also have meant the following issues wouldn't have occured, and you wouldn't have had a bill to pay either. We always aim to be fair with people and treat everyone with respect, so if you had gone about this situation in a different manor, we'd have accomodated in the best way possible, despite it not even being our fault. So seen the car and then decided to deal with there sales myself instead of going through a broker so first person I spoke with was mark and for a sale person I found him to be very true to his word so decided to go for the car and within an hour the deal was done problem I Had was the distance it was to travel to look at it so got the first time I felt I could trust mark and told him to get it ready for me in 2 weeks so went Saturday got there and could see the car when I pulled up and will say the team went above and beyond my expectations when mark said the car will be spotless he meant it not a mark on the car and full service cam belt and even down to new tyres wheels looked amazing as that is what made the car stand out and even it’s a 2 hour trip I will be sending my daughter up in the next couple of months for a car Thankyou to mark and his team
